Chapter VI"Look! I promise I won't break any rules. Just let me in for two minutes." She pleaded.
"Mam, you will break a rule by entering in itself. I cannot let you in. Sorry!" the girl looked at Mihika with a sorry expression.
Mihika, too depressed to reply turned around to leave. She walked a few steps and then she heard a familiar voice -
"Mihika!"
The first time, she ignored it thinking it was all her assumption, but the second time, and the third confirmed that her ears were not wrong. She turned around in anticipation.
It was Abhishek. He was waiting for her, with utmost affection, looking at her with a smile, charming to take any girl's heart away. They started proceeding towards each other when an announcement declared that the flight would leave soon.
Mihika signalled him to stop. He froze. She signalled him to stay where he was and not move as he had to leave now.
Tumhi dekho na,
Yeh kya hogaya,
Tumhara hum aur tum meri...
He looked at her. She was smiling. There was something in her which he never understood. Something different. But since he was not exactly known to what it was, he found it really convenient to called it "something"!
Main hairaan hoon,
Tumhe kya kahoon,
Me dil mein hui kaisi chandani...
She was equally engrossed in the staring moment they were sharing. It did not affect how, a few, were looking at them. Regardless of all, they stood at a distance and steered into each other's eyes.
Jaagi jaagi so hai,
Phir bhi khaabon mein hai,
Sooi sooi zindgi...
He signalled to ask her how did she come here. Not that he was shocked, but it was definitely cheering. To which she replied by showing him the note, she held it tight in her hand. Then, she showed him the chain. On that account, he was shocked for he never left on purpose. Well, maybe he did.
Tumhi dekho na,
Yeh kya hogaya,
Tumhara hoon main,
Aur tum meri...
...
Behke behke se man,
Mehke mehke se tan,
Ujli ujli fizaaon mein hai...
Abhishek folded his arms and complemented her. But well, she always looked mesmerizing to his eyes.
She replied to it by complementing him back. Her eyes then fell on a few girls checking him out and she coloured on her choice being so popular. Abhishek, who noticed this, could not do anything but adore her acts.
Aaj hum hain jahan,
Kitni rangeeniyaan,
Jhalki jhalki nigaahon mein hain...
She then quickly, tried to get rid of a few tears which had found their way down her cheek. This could not go unnoticed by Abhishek who asked her to wipe them off and smile.
Neeli neeli ghataaon se hain chan rahi,
Halki halki,
Roshani...
It was then announced that the flight was not ready to leave in a minute or three.
Tumhi dekho na,
Yeh kya hogaya,
Tuhmara hoon main,
Aur tum meri...
Main hairaan hoon,
Tumhe kya kahoon,
Ke dil mein hui kaisi chaandani...
He turned around to leave, but then turned back again to take a last look at her and smirked on that note to lighten the moment. For, they had to wait long before they will meet again to finally get their answers.
Main toh anjaan thi,
Yuhi hoga kabhi,
Pyaar barsega yun tootke...
Hoo..
Sach yeh ikraar hai,
Sach yahi pyaar hai,
Baaki bandhan hain sab jhooth ke...
Mihika flustered at the thought that such smirks would now become a part of her life soon. Abhishek sat in his seat, he could not stop smiling on his acts. Within a minute from being serious he turned exact opposite.
Meri saason mein hain,
Ghul rahi pyaar ki,
Dheemi dheemi ragini...
Mihika got out and took a cab. For some reason her thoughts engaged her more than they usually did. She looked at a picture in her cell. It was of Rakhsha Bandhan celebration and Ishita had captured a moment which reflected Abhishek's moment for Mihika excellently! She was almost dreaming now. But why, she could hardly answer.
Tumhi dekho na,
Yeh kya hogya,
Tumhara hoon main,
Aur tum meri...
Main hairaan hoon,
Tumhe kya kahoon,
Ke dil mein hui kaisi chaandani...
They both were contented today. Although, the purpose of her visit was not fulfilled but now, they knew it would be soon fulfilled. Mihika looked at the chain in her hand while Abhishek rested back in his seat to think of her.
Jaagi jaagi so hai,
Phir bhi khaabon mein hai,
Sooi sooi zindgi...
Mihika's chain of thoughts was interrupted by a call, from Ishita.
"At this time! It was be way too early in India!" Mihika was shocked. She answered the call with - "Haan Akka!"
