They circle each other like the moon and the earth

Yet dread to reveal their pining for the other

She reigns his heart , He the reason she exists

Mindful use of silence and mindless words uttered in rage

Resultant World wars deepen her insecurity

Each a solo composition for the other, of the other

The Duo dance to the tunes of their heart

Playful removal of platinum band he resists

Manny bares her scarred heart

Mired by abandonment and deceit

Intrudes as she pleases to private spaces

Speaks what she thinks nonchalantly

The suave dude avers

The nave lass retreats

Nonplussed by the imagined desertion and

Wary of being judged a schemer

A baby to bind him to MM her yearning

Blatant liar she is evasive

Scheming conniving sister act next

Another fantastic update, thank u, Nisha.

Such a pleasure to read your style of writing. Subtle where it needs to be, and more obvious when a point needs to be made.

I've always been more supportive of II but R&B's goals and desires are important too.

I'm waiting to see how the two find a middle ground, or rather, how u find one for them!

Add baby to the mix...then, I'm even more curious!!

Harshitha i was reading your poem and pondering over the line in red...i used to tell folks i am work in progress but how profound the line is...
I loved your poem which is a reflection of life
