Kripa arrived to work the next day feeling happy and cheery because it was her birthday, and as usual her dad would gift her something nice, this year it was a brand new BMW Z4, and as usual her mom would buy her some new clothes. But the present she was waiting for was from Prithvi, they have been friends for around 3 years now, and for the past 3 years, Prithvi had always got Kripa something nice, not expensive, but Kripa would cherish it what-so-ever. Kripa walks in the cafe and straight away her cheery happy mood is spoilt.....

A - hey boss! hmm nice car, where did you get it from...is it a friends

Angad winks at Kripa and walks off. Prithvi comes and sees her looking mad

P - Kripa what happened

K - nothing!

P - huh?

K - oh sorry Prithvi....how are you

P - im good.....Happy Birthday!!!

Kripa gives Prithvi a big hug, and smiles, she puts her hand out

K - my present?

P - Kripa....good things come to those who wait......woah! who's is that car!!!!

Kripa's eyes widen, she turns around looking at the brand new BMW, she gulps and wonders what excuse to give this time.....

K - its erm.....its....erm.....erm....

A - mine!

K - huh

Kripa turns around and sees Angad, standing there smiling

P - wow really!! its fab,

A - thanks

Prithvi walks outside to take another look, Kripa walks up to Angad

K - what are you up to?

A - nothing....weren't you the one who was meant to be poor.....i was just helping you out of a situation

K - what do you want?

A - what?

K - i know....you are doing this...because you want something.....so tell me, what do you want

A - your car keys

K - what!

A - yea...Prithvi is heading this way, he's going to want to have a look inside so give me the keys....or do you want me to......

K - no!

Kripa hands him the keys, Angad begins to walk away, he stops near Kripa and leans forward

A - oh and...happy birthday......the real reason i'm doing it.....1 - it's your birthday...and 2 - all my cars have been sold....and that BMW was next on my list....so i want to drive it....and hey......i'm always up for taking other people's cars for spins

Angad walks outside to Prithvi, Kripa just stands there speechless. Later that day..while working...Prithvi drags Kripa into the back room, he hands her a bag. Kripa has a big smile on her face, she looks in the bag and finds a small box, she gets the box out

K - what's in this?

P - open it

K - ok

Kripa opens the box to find a small necklace, she smiles and puts it on

K - i love it! thanks Prithvi

P - hey anything for my friend

Prithvi walks away, Angad comes

A - wow did your boyfriend gift you that

K - Prithvi is my friend

A - yea...and he's a boy...so hes your boyfriend

K - you are so irritating!

A - yea i know..by the way..wait for me after your shift....

K - why in the worlds name should i wait for you

A - because i have your car keys.....and if Prithvi sees you driving off in my car then.....

K - fine!

A - good....this way.....I get a lift back home as well..since I got a lift this morning from my dad

Kripa looks at Angad angriliy, Angad senses she is about to explode so he runs away. 2 hours later, Kripa finishes her shift, she goes outside and waits for Angad

K - stupid boy! should never have hired him....arghh he's so annoying...and he still hasn't said sorry.....on top of it, he takes my car for a ride! arghhhh what's taking him so long

Kripa gets up and goes inside, she is shocked to find Angad flirting with some bimbo, she storms inside and taps him on the shoulder

K - what the hell are you doing?

A - talking to.......Priya right?

P - yea

K - when did your shift finish?

A - erm about half an hour ago

K - then why was i waiting for so long!!!!

A - because....im busy...now go wait outside....and ill come when i finish

K - why should i listen to you?

A - because....hey Prithvi.....

K - no you wouldnt

A - just watch

P - yea Angad what's up

A - theres something you should know......Kripa is....

K - taking a lift from Angad! we wanted to know....if you would like to come too

P - no its ok, a friends picking me up

A - cool dude

Prithvi walks away, Kripa shoots Angad a "i hate you" look, Angad just smiles and faces Priya, he says bye and heads outside, he is near the door when he turns to Kripa

A - coming Kripa.....

Kripa hesistates but goes with him. Angad gets in the drivers seat and Kripa gets in the passenger seat, Angad drives half way up the road when....

K- stop!!!!!!!

Angad stops the car, he looks at Kripa

A - what happened????

K - get out please....

Kripa gets out and goes to the other side, she opens Angad door and pulls him out

A - what wrong with you?

K - nothing

She pushes Angad out the way and sits in the drivers seat

K - either come in or i will leave you there

Angad glares at her but goes to the passenger seat. Both are silent at first while in the car but then

K - where do you live?

A (smirks) - why planning on coming round?

K - no you.....monkey! i need to drop you off right so i need to know where you live

A - did you just call me a monkey?

K - yes!

A (looks in the mirror) - i do not look like a monkey

K - yes you do

A - no i don't, im hot ok!

K - haha very funny

A - if im a monkey then you're a..a..a donkey!

K - what!! just shut up!!!

Both are silent again, Angad looks at Kripa

A - Kripa

K - what

A - why are you lying to Prithvi for?

K - thats none of your business

A - hey, i'm a part of your charade so i have a right to know what the full story is

K - you dont have a right to anything.....

A - fine, i'll tell Prithvi tomorrow

K - fine, tell him, see if i care

A - fine!

K - get out your house is here

Angad gets out the car and slams the door. Kripa reverses the car and drives off

K (thinks) - what if Angad really tells? no he won't...or will he?
