Kripa couldn't sleep that night, she kept tossing and turning, thinking about Prithvi's reaction when Angad told him the truth about her being rich, slowly the night passed away. She got out of bed and got changed, she went downstairs and was about to go outside and get in the new BMW when she stopped

K - no way in hell am i giving Angad another lift...dad!!! did you fix the car???

S - yes its outside

K - thanks!

Kripa got the keys and ran to the old BMW, she got in and drove to work. When she got there she saw Angad standing next to Prithvi, Angad had a smile on his face but Prithvi looked very very serious, Kripa closed her eyes and went in

K - hi Prithvi...Angad

A - hey

P - .......

K - whats up?

P - how could you Kripa

K (shocked) - Prithvi!!! im so sorry i can explain

P - explain? how can you explain keeping this from me

K - Pritz please, just listen ...I.....

P - to what? you agreed to let Angad throw you a birthday party without telling me?

K - huh!

A - yea Kripa......remember we talked about it yesterday....I offered to throw you a party......Prithvi is sad that you didn't tell him...naughty naughty

Kripa hugged Prithvi tight

K - im so sorry!!!! i knew i should have told you!!!! Angad can i speak to you for a second

A - sure...Prithvi we will be right back

Kripa dragged Angad into the back room and hugged him

K - thank you thank you for not telling him!!!

She then realised she ws hugging him and quickly let go

K- why didn't you tell?

A - i was going to.....but when i mentioned your name to Prithvi.....he got worried and scared...and besides....he's your friend, you should be the one to tell him

K - thanks again....by the way wheres this party?

A - oh Ceasers Palace, tonight after work at 9 ok?

K - sure

Angad begins walking to the front area

K - Angad......don't you want to know why i'm lying to Prithvi?

A - i thought i didn't have the right to know

K - well you earned it......while i was in college, i was popular...everyone was my friend...i used to think they all liked me for who i am

A - and?

K - and one day, before going to college my dad called me, and asked me to do something for him

A - yea....then...

K - he said to me "Kripa I want you to go to work and tell your friends that you are broke" I replied "what!!! why would i do that" then dad said that i would know once i did it

A - then

K - i went to college in a taxi, my friends approached me, and i told them what my dad said.....and do you know what happened?

A - what?

K - nothing, they all walked away, and refused to acknowledge my presence.....just because i told them i wasn't rich anymore, i realised what dad wanted me to find out

A - what's this got to do with Prithvi?

K - i met him after at a park, I was going to tell him i was rich but then i thought, what if he did the same, what if he only becomes friends with me because of my money, so i never told him

A - i see.....Kripa can i say something

K - go ahead

A - don't you think....Prithvi is more than that? i mean he's your friend.....probably better than any friend i ever had....he deserves the truth....but it's up to you.....and for the record....i won't tell Prithvi....ever.....

K - thanks

A - its ok

Kripa begins walking away

A - oh and Kripa

K - yea? (thinks) yes he's going to say sorry!!!!

A - don't be late to the party......i hate latecomers!

Kripa's mouth falls open, Angad smiles and walks away

Sorry its so short, im at my cousins house and can't really use the computer for long, so i will update again tonight when im at home. thanks everyone
