THE MARRIAGE MAKER (PART 12)

That night , two people had a restless sleep.

~~~~

Morning brewed up like hot coffee.

Sanyukta was hell adamant on proving the fact the last night was non existent for her.That he didn't affect her.

So she purposely dolled up in a tight cherry red one piece, the skirt of which ended up at her mid thighs.

Black pumps and a deep line of kohl, she had business to handle.

She called Randhir but it kept ringing.

Sanyukta went down and ordered the chef for her black coffee and mushroom omlete and went to the small garden in the villa .

Her i-pad was with her and she started flliping through portfolios and checked for any new applicants.

Four women had applied.

She immediately called up her office and collected the details.

Her breakfast arrived but Randhir was nowhere to be seen.

She stomped off to find him.How she hated latecomers!

Sanyukta knocked twice to no response.

Hugely irritated , she twisted the knob and entered in.

His room was big , spacious and airy.Sunshine poured through the huge windows giving a peaceful tinge to it.

When her eyes fell on his bed, she gasped.

It was undone.The bedsheet was crumpled at places , due to his weight.

The view was giving him a strange kind of feeling.How he must have slept , shirtless.She imagined his sleeping innocent face , when the moonlight fell on him.

How locks of his hair would have fell on his eyes, making him stir in sleep in mumble something.

A knob turned and broke her stance.

Randhir came out the bath , freshly showered.

And oh my!What a body!

His jeans was hanging loose with the button undone.And he was shirtless.

Sanyukta found her face becoming as hot as a frying pan.

She immediately turned back.

Randhir cocked her eyebrows up.This girl was so much a mystery.

Kabhi kiss karti hai to kabhi itna sharmati hai?! He chuckled .

''I DONT LIKE LATECOMERS. MEET ME IN THE GARDEN IN FIVE''Sanyukta straightway stomped off.

Randhir met her down in four and smirked at her , showing her his expensive watch.She just rolled her eyes.

''You have got four more applicants.'' In her business like tone.

''I see! '' he said , drinking his coffee.

''Name them for me , please?!" He added.

''What are you going to do with the names , when you will see them tomorrow?! ''

''Just like that , Sanyukta!" He sighed.

''Fine , kyla singhania , kajal sharma , tulika panchori and , the last.. Uhmm yeah, vidushi thapar.''

He choked upon his coffee , at the last name.

''WHAT!?"

''What?!!?"

''THE LAST NAME?!"

Sanyukta frowned at his sudden excitement.

''Vidushi thapar.''

''OH MY GOD!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE MYSELF! SHOW ME HER PHOTO!!"

And somewhere deep down , sanyukta's heart sank down to her stomach, seeing him so excited because of another girl.

''I am not allowed.'' Sanyukta muttered in a rush.
WHAT?!?
COULD IT GET ANY MORE LAME? She punched herself virtually.
Randhir cocked his eyebrows.
''I mean - I mean , uh... You are NOT allowed to bed any girl before marriage. Its my rule. ''She flustered.
''WHAT?! WHAT BED!? '' Randhir gawked at her , his jaw wide open.
''Are you awake yet , Sanyukta?! '' he waved his hand in front of her.
''Jerk!" She said , stood up in a hurry and left the place.
Randhir just saw her leave and blinked his eyes in extreme confusion.

Sanyukta threw her i-pad on the bean bag and flipped her pumps out.
What the hell was WRONG with her??!
Why did she always FUMBLE in front of him?
''Uuugghhh.'' She screamed.
She hated being weak.She hated being underconfident or unsure.
Bas! This was the last of her fumbling.
She grabed her i-pad , donned her heels , opened the door and bumped into a hard chest.
Her heel twiched and she fell down with a thud.
She totally expected him to laugh at her condition.
Sanyukta was mentally counting the number of abuses she could hurl at him after he would be done with his laughing business.
''Oh my god ,I am so very sorry Sanyukta! '' she heard this instead.Her orbs widened.
Randhir immediately bent down to examine her.
He took hold of her hands and pulled her a bit.
''Ouch! '' she whimpered.
''Whoa , wait. Did you sprain it? ''
He took hold of her heel and started removing it.Sanyukta immediately jerked of his hand.
''No thanks! I CAN MANAGE.''
She started getting up , gritting her teeth , absorbing her pain.
Randhir saw her face and something flipped inside him.Like pain?
He immediately took hold of her hand and pushed her back.
''Bahot ho gya. Let me see.''
''No! You go , I can - ''
''SANYUKTA! I SAID SHUT UP AND SIT QUIET AND LET ME TAKE CARE OF YOU.''
There! She hadn't ever heard him this angry , this commanding.The intensity with which he spoke sent shivers down her spine.
She immediately obeyed.
He removed her heels , handed them to her and picked her up in his arms as if she weighed nothing.
She wounded her arms around his neck for support.
God ! The feel of her.She was all silk against stone.All softness against his hardness.
He craved her . And this was an undeniable fact now.
His mind wandered into many directions as he carried her swiftly towards his room.
She was his marriage maker.She was off limits!
