Randhir didn't know how to love.He knew the pleasures of sex , but definitely nothing beyond that.
Emotions were non existent for him.
You ask why?
His dad died when he was 19.But he never cried.Not that day , not the next day.
His grandfather was his world. He still is.
His charming personality, the flirting , the sex, it had and has always been a medium for him , to burry his loneliness deep down , somewhere.
After his father's death, he had handled business and studies together.
He created the empire on his own.In all the juggling , he never found time to discover feelings , or to unfold the mystery , WHAT Love was.
And Sanyukta, he was just attracted to her.He was definitely not going to accept that he felt light around her.He felt himself.
Bullshit!It was just physical attraction!

He knocked the door politely.
''Come in , please.'' He heard her soft voice.
For the first time , he was nervous on how he would face her after their multiple sexual encounters.
He raked a hand through his hair and pushed her door open.
She was still in the same avatar and still carried that dangerous shield of sparking and shooting tension of sexuality.
He entered awkwardly and she forced a smile at him.He did the same.

Which made her look more casual , more sexy, more carefree.
''Randhir?" He realized she was poking him with her finger.
''Sorry?" He shifted a centimetre farther.
''So this is kyla .'' she showed him her portfolio on her i-pad.
Randhir inspected that girl.Long chin, high pointed nose, and full pink lips.
Good for his appetite.But he wasn't that much into her , just from her looks.
''She runs a chain of boutiques across the country and is a prized beautician. Age just 23."
''Hmm...'' Randhir looked at Sanyukta.
She was busy telling about others while he was busy etching her perfect face.
''... And this , the last ... Ummm.. This is vidushi . vidushi - thapar.'' Sanyukta reluctantly spoke.
Vidushi's name broke his trance and he immediately took the i-pad from her .
Yes! She was the same vidushi.
Randhir's snatching act made her feel like someone snatched her heart away.
A frown broke over her face.
''She is umm - '' but she had been cut out.
''24 years old. The only daughter of VIKRAM THAPAR. She is a MBA degree holder from IIM-A and has a chain of NGO's. She is the sole inheritant of thapar's property. She does charity too and has received many awards for excellent and efficient performance of her NGO's ''
Sanyukta felt like she had been sucker punched.

The colour drained from her cheeks and breath whooshed out of her lungs.
WHO THE HELL WAS SHE?His ex girlfriend?
Randhir looked at her face and immediately felt the need to explain some things to her.
He handed her the i-pad back and stood up and settled on the bean bag , looking away at the night sky.
Sanyukta sucked in breath and looked at him sceptically.
''DO I NEED TO BEG YOU FOR ANSWERS?"" she couldn't help but be rude to disguise her hurt.
''You know VIKRAM THAPAR right?" he cringed.
''Yes , business tycoon. From India's leading petroleum refining to the leading clothes brands. All's under him.''
''Yes. His company and my company have always been at loggerheads. Vying for the 4th position in the top 10 profit empires. He has always been the fourth richest man in India. Me , the fifth.''
Sanyuktas eyes widened as she could suddenly complete the jigsaw.
''You are doing this to become the richest man in India." She sucked in breath hard.
''Solely.'' He looked into her eyes.
''You don't love her , right?"
''I don't even know her. But I have always tracked her . The man, THAPAR , he is growing old Sanyukta. And I have eyed his property since FOREVER.''
''I don't understand one thing. If it's so much PERSONAL between you all, why did she approach me for this marriage?"
He sensed the way she applied pressure to ''PERSONAL''.
''Even I don't know. That's the first thing I'm going to ask her. There has to be a reason.''

Whatever it must be, Sanyukta felt helpless in front of her status, right now!

A tornado of questions had formed a whirwind in her mind.
A lot of doubts , a lot of confusion.
''What are your intentions , RANDHIR?"
His eyes widened at the sudden injection of acidness and distrust in her voice.
''ARE YOU A GOOD MAN? '' she gasped.
''Sanyukta! ? How could you ? I mean -'' he stood up.
''ARE YOU GOING TO DESTROY HIM?" Sanyukta stood up and moved far away from him.
Randhir was flabbergasted.He was so hurt.
How could she even think like that?!
''ARE YOU SO MUCH MONEY-MINDED?" she moved further back.
''Sanyukta , listen to me !"
'' WHAT DO YOU HOLD AGAINST HIM?" she limped towards the door , facing him all the time , with a mask of disgust.
''Sanyukta ! CAREFULL! WATCH WHILE YOU WALK , DAMNIT!"
She bumped to a vase and staggered a little, breaking it into shards.
''I'll repay you for the vase.''
''YOU THINK I CARE ABOUT THE f**kING VASE!?" He raged.
''I don't know what to think.'' She spoke so silently , tears spilling from her eyes.
He just moved to approach her when she suddenly spoke.
''WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH VIDUSHI ,, RANDHIR? WILL YOU BLACKMAIL THAPAR INTO TRANSFERRING HIS PROPERTY IN YOUR NAME AFTER YOU RAPE HER?" Sanyukta didn't even think twice before speaking .
Randhir stood frozen.His face was pale , as if all the blood had reeked out.
His heart detonated into a million non replaceable pieces.
All the fury ,All the agony,
It clogged his throat.
He didn't even get to know when tears spilled out of his eyes.It was after , almost 20 years , he had cried.
So this was EXACTLY what she thought about him!
On the other hand , Sanyukta just realised the intensity of her words.
''Randhir - I didn't mean ''
He stormed towards her suddenly , yanked her close to him in a wink and held her wrists in a tight hold being them , before pushing them towards the wall.
''YOU ARE NO ONE TO JUDGE ME MISS AGARWAL. ''
Sanyukta gasped.
