Aarti Raizada's shut down, and cold behavior to her own family and kids is a far cry for me for a grieving parent. I'm not saying that she is not grieving on Anjali's loss, she certainly is and what more here is she too doesn't believe in Anjali's death. Hot her Anjali's lost just like Khushi.
But what hurt here is that she had no warmth for her other kids who are in front of her but only the rule and code of conduct to be righteous in what she things there higher blood demands them to be. Her blaming Arnav for hurting Anjali's memory and her enunciation of never to talk of Anjali by Arnav was way too much. Surely it will pierce any heart and here we are talking about a brother who lost his sister too.

Aarti has stood out to me as a lady who give more value to her believes and higher blood and standards than to people and there character since Khushi's description of Aarti's contempt visible in her eyes for Khushi and her being Anjali's friend. But now the way Arnav and Akash behaves with Aarti and she with them, the way there mother relation is or the missing warmth thereof, it cannot be simply placed on the horrendous days of Anjali's disappearance. It's in her nature, embedded in her thinking through her upbringing, if I may go that far in pointing it out,

This difference in personality was very well put in succinctly by Sumitra. That's is why Arnav seems to share a warm and loving relation with Sumitra and Manorama than Aarti.

As far as the pain of Arnav and Akash is concern, it cannot be compared to that of Khushi coz that just not right. They lost there sister but they also lost there parents and the right to seek there love together for no fault of there own. And what happened right now only makes an angry, hurt and a love seeking child to blame Khushi...

"On second thoughts, the culprit was the girl who had placed herself in his path."

And even then he finds it hard in himself to blame Khushi coz he knows that's not how Anjali must have felt or he himself felt remembering the haunted eyes.

Finally got time to read your story...

I think Aarthi has gone crazy after Anjali's disapperence, She trying put blame on someone else so she can breathe easily. Seems like Arnav now wants to ignore Khushi. I am sure he can't hate her, because he still keeps talking about her eyes. Lets see how long he can ignore his feelings for Khushi. WHAT THE, Aakash and Payal are divorced. Love to know the story behind. it.

It seems that focusing on being 'propah' is Aarti's way of coping with the unfettered pain of not being able to find her missing child. Controlling everyone and everything else around her seems to be her coping mechanism. As is dumping all the blame on Khushi. Her cold frigid silences a very effective weapon. But it must be so difficult, the not knowing. Death is so final, leaving you able to grieve, but missing is so open ended. There's no closure, how do you just move on?

Sandhya, all of the Raizadas sound so interesting. So many dynamics at play in that gorgeous house. Want to know more about each of them.

Sorry for the late comment Sandhya... Thanks for the pm.
Akash and anjali are twins right? Is there a major effect in akash's life because of anjali's missing? Sure it would have affected everyone.. But I have read sometimes twins can feel and understand each other emotions without voicing it out. Is he more affected than others?? What is the cause for akash's failed marriage? Aarti's anger towards arnav without listening to him is unreasonable..

Nice pictures of arnav and khushi's houses...

Arnav's family seems to be broken in the aftermath of Anjali's missing. Aarti as any mother, hasn't moved on and is making everyone else's life miserable. I guess I understand her pain and resentfulness, coz no one seems to supportive of her belief that Anjali is only missing and not dead.
Arnav's thoughts about Khushi's soulful eyes makes me wonder if they had more interactions other than the looks they might have shared on the road while he cycled around the place, but then they were just pre-teens at the time, too young to be attracted to each other may be?

The negligence of Aarti towards her kids seems to have affected Akash the most. He craves for a mother figure and is trying to get that from his grandmother.

Finally, I hope Aarti's hatred towards Khushi doesn't affect Arnav's budding affection. The whole family and Khushi needs mending. Will wait to see how this proceeds, Sandhya. I think you got all their emotions down very tight.
