Chapter 14---Last Part
Naina and Pooja walked into their rom, and both of their eyes landed on Naina's bed, which held a bouquet and a teddy bear with a card.
"Naina what is this and who mailed you these?" Pooja as she walked up to Naina's bed and picked up the bouquet.
"I don't know. Let me check." Naina said and tried to pick up the card, but Pooja reached the card before her. "Pooja give me the card." Naina said looking at pooja with her no joke eyes, but pooja ignored her and read the letter. The letter read "Naina, I didn't get to see you all day. Meet me in my room after lights out. Your, Veer."
"Oai Naina, who is this Veer. I thought your setting was with Shahrukh." Pooja said, but it never occurred to her that Veer might be Rajveer.
"It is not like that Pooja, he is just a friend." Naina said and snatched the letter from Pooja's hand.
"If he is just a friend than why is he asking you to meet him after lights out?" Pooja questioned.
"I don't know." Naina said exhausted from the day's work. Pooja sat next to Naina on her bed.
"This Veer told you to meet him in his room, which means he is in KMA, so how have I never seen you talk with anyone named Veer?" Pooja asked finding something in the situation fishy.
"Pooja, if you are done with your investigation, I have to go somewhere." Naina said, getting up from her bed as she just remembered something.
"Are you going to meet this mysterious Veer?" Pooja said and winked, for which in return Naina shook her.
"No Pooja, I have to talk to Alekh about something." With that Naina opened the door and existed the room.
Naina knocked on the door, and it was opened by Ali.
"Ali, is Alekh here?" Naina questioned. Ali pointed to the window where Alekh was sitting. Naina walked toward Alekh, but turned back to Ali and said "Ali could you, please give us some privacy, just for a couple of minutes. Please"
"OK, I will be in Huda Bhai's room." Ali said and went out the room, closing the door behind him. Alekh jumped in from the window and stood in front of Naina.
"Naina, what is it?" Alekh questioned, knowing that something important was going on. Naina handed him the card and waited as Alekh read. Naina wanted a couple of minutes for Alekh to finish reading, but she didn't get any kind of response from Alekh, and she was getting tired of standing there.
"SO?" Naina questioned impatiently
"This is written in English, and I can't read English." Alekh said. Naina pulled the card from his hand and said "Rajveer sir gave me this card. He told me to meet him in his room after lights out, I don't know what to do. I am too scared, what if what we are thinking is true, and Rajveer is not Rajveer sir."
"Naina this can work in our favor. If there is any proof against him than it will most likely be in the room. You can check the room when you are in there." Alekh said, holding Naina's shoulders.
"That is fine, but he will not leave me alone. How am I supposed to check his stuff, with him there?" Naina pointed out.
"I will call him. Yes, I will burrow Pooja's mobile, and call him in the Academy's phone, and stall him. You will have a couple of minutes to check his stuff." Alekh Said.
"Ok, but Alekh I am scared. What if he tries to do something to me?" Naina said, fear Cleary evident in her eyes and voice.
"Naina you are Captain Sir's Cadet. He was willing to risk his life for you, so you have to do this for him. Remember what he used to say Naina? He said that he believes in you and would always believe in you, don't let that trust of his die." Alekh said and Naina nodded with a new found determination.
"Let's go. It is time for dinner.
Every single clock in KMA rec 9:00PM, and every room in the boy's and girl's hostel were closed except 2 room.
Naina carefully snuck out our room and headed toward the direction of Rajveer/Jai's room, on the other side, Alekh snuck out of his room.
Jai had lit candles all over the room. Soft music was playing from a small radio place at a corner of the room.
All the things I have to do for revenge.' Jai thought as he lit the last candle. I told that girl to come right after lights out, so why is she not here yet. This girl can never follow instructions.' He said to himself, right when someone rung his door bell. He plastered a fake smile on his face, and opened the door. Naina stood at the other end of the door. He welcomed her and invited her inside. Naina was in awe looking at the arrangement made by this person.
"Our first candle light moment, and you made it so special." Naina said and sat down on the couch.
"Of course, it is our first candle light moments, so I had to make it special." Jai said and sat down next to Naina and put his hands around her back. Naina's eyes widen, when he said this was their first candle light moment, because that was not true. "Did he forget our first mentorship moment? Well but if he is not even Rajveer than how will he remember." Naina thought and decided to ask him more questions to get to the bottom of everything that was happening.
"You know Veer, Naveen Bhaiya's death still hunts me. The way he died..." Naina said. Naveen was the last thing Jai wanted to talk about, he even hated the nave Naveen and everything related to it, but at this time he had no choice but to go with the act that he loved Naveen.
"It is all my fault Naina. If I had not shoot him than he would have been alive. If only I could have held on to that little bit of hope, but seeing he so helpless made me helpless. If only I would not have shoot him, he would have been alive." Jai said. Naina just looked at him unbelieving. Now she was 100% sure that this person was not her Rajveer sir, because Rajveer knew that Naveen was being slow poisoned, so even if he had not shot Naveen, Naveen would have died. Naina was about to say something else when someone knocked on the door.
"Naina go and hind in the kitchen." Rajveer said to Naina as he went to open the door. Naina rushed to the kitchen.
"Yes" Rajveer said, irritated seeing an orderly at his door, that late.
"Sir, sorry to disturb you, but you have a call." The orderly said.
"Ok, you go. I am coming." Rajveer said and closed the door. He walked to the kitchen, and found Naina doing something with the coffee machine.
"Naina, I have a call. I will be right back" He said and left. As soon as Naina heard the door close, she put away the coffee machine and headed toward the bedroom. She knew she only had a few minutes, so she started to turn the room upside down searching for any proof. She came out of the room with disappointment, because there was nothing in the room that could proof that the person staying in the room was not Rajveer. She rushed to the bathroom. She searched very inch of the bathroom but nothing could be found. She was about to leave the bathroom, when she accidentally knocked over his shaving razor. She bend down to pick up the razor, but to her surprise the razor was broken in half. But that was not all, the razor had a hole, like an open space. It looked like that space could hold a piece of paper. She shook the razor, until a computer chip fell out.
"Naina where are you?" Jai said from outside the room. He was angry and really frustrated because this whole act and pretending to be the good boy Capt. Rajveer, and on top of that someone had just called him for no reason.
"I was in the bathroom." Naina said, coming out to the living room.
"Veer I think I should go. We have Maj. Nair's drill first thing in the morning, and I do not want to be tired." Naina said, as she slid the chip on her back pockets.
"All that is fine, but I have some good news." Jai said.
"What?" Naina asked scared of what he was going to do next.
"I got the files from Lala. He is a very gullible person. I preponed out press conference." Jai said with a plastic smile.
"What?" Naina screamed. "How could you prepone our press conference. I mean the plan said to wait a month to gather all proof, and then have the press conference."
"Naina, why are you behaving like this? I have all the proofs we need against Lala. What is the problem if we complete our mission early?" Rajveer questioned suspiciously. Naina knew that if this guy in front of her suspected her even a little, she would be in great trouble, so she come up with the best lie, Naina could ever come with.
"All that is ok, but we don't have any time to prepare for anything" She said, and Jai just smiled at her.
"Don't worry, my love. The conference is not until 13:00." He said. "Now you go and rest." Naina got out of the room, and headed toward her dorm. She and Alekh had decided that it would be too dangerous to meet that night itself, so Naina had no one to share the new found information. That night fear and anticipation took over Naina's sleep.
The next morning around 6:00 AM Naina and Pooja headed out to the Mess for Breakfast. She had not seen Alekh yet, and she didn't how to tell Pooja about her finding, plus she wanted to break the news to everyone at the same time. She stopped an orderly in the middle of the hall.
"Orderly, do you know where Capt. Abhimanyu is?" She asked.
"He should be in his office." The orderly replied and left.
"Naina why do you need Abhimanyu sir?" Pooja questioned. She was finding something wrong with Naina from the morning.
"I have some information that I want to tell everyone. Go to the Mess and fetch the boys and bring them to Capt.'s room." Naina said before turning to the direction of Abhimanyu's office.
"Naina is something wrong?" Abhimanyu asked Naina after all the cadets had entered his cabin.
"Not just something, everything is wrong." Naina said.
"What? Does Lala suspect something?" Yudi questioned with fear.
"No Yudi, not Lala, but Alekh and I. We had suspected something." Naina said and explained everything that happen between her and Alekh and what happened in Rajveer's room. After listening to Naina's narration everyone was in a state of shock. No one could believe their ears. Abhimanyu was the first to recover from the shock.
"Cadet, do you still have the chip?" He questioned. Naina took out the chip from her front pouch and handed it to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu inserted the chip in her computer and all 6 cadets surrounded him.
"OH MY GOD" were the only thing that could escape Naina's mouth after looking at the content in the chip.
"This is all the information about Rajveer sir. Everything, from the way he talks to the things he is allergic to is written here." Huda said unable to believe his eyes. Abhimanyu scrolled down some pages.
"This is all the information about the connection about Eagle and Lala. Abhimanyu said.
"Yes sir, but how did he get all this information about Eagle. Our intelligence department has been after him for years and they still don't this much information about him." Ali said, matter effetely.
"Scroll down." Naina said and Abhimanyu followed.
"What the hell." Pooja said. This particular page had information about Jai's plan for revenge.
"Why would someone plan such an elaborate revenge against me and Rajveer sir?" Naina wondered out loud.
"Sir what is that address right there?" Alekh questioned pointing to a corner of the screen.
"It could be the place where this person has held Rajveer sir." I said. Abhimanyu grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
"Cornel Chandra, this is Capt. Abhimanyu. We have a problem. Send a few men to the address that I will send you. We believe that Raj is there." Abhimanyu said to the phone and cut the call.
"We now have everything we need to bring down Lala and whoever this other guy is." Abhimanyu said as he pulled out the chip from his computer. "We will expose the two at the press conference today. Their game will back fire at them. You all, make sure you act normal. We cannot let this guy or Lala know that we know their truth. Now go off to your class, and CT NORMAL." Abhimanyu said. The cadets didn't want to go anywhere. They rather wanted to have the necks of Lala and the impersonator in their hands, but at the same time they knew their Abhimanyu sir was right, so they all exited the room.
Around 13:00
"Come in Lala sir." Jai said when he heard the knock on his door.
"How did you know it was me?" Lala questioned coming in the room.
"Sixth sense." Jai simply answered as he pointed to the chair across from his for Lala to sit. Lala sat down.
"One minute" Jai asked and got up. He went behind Lala. "There is something in your mind. Tell me." Jai said.
"Jai, don't you think we should take hold of those cadets before the conference. Trust me, those cadets are not as innocent as they make themselves look. They can really create a problem for us." Lala said, worried that one of his best chances to take down the cadets might go downhill.
"Don't worry Lala" Jai said and at that exact moment Lala felt something being tied around him, something like a rope...Jai was tying Lala to the chair.
"Jai...Jai what are you doing." Lala managed to say. By this time Jai was tying Lala's feet to the chair.
"You see, I am not a fool." Jai said and went back to get some tape. He taped Lala's mouth and said "You, you are also the reason my parents died. My dad, he worked for you Mr. Eagle...he was loyal to you, but when he needed you the most, at the time of his trial, you disappeared. You never had his back. If he had your support, than my dad would not be dead. Why would you ever think I would let you go? Jai said and looked at his watch. "Look I am getting late for the conference. Bye Bye" Jai said and left.
Jai entered the press conference to see the cadets standing in one corner and about a dozen of reporters sitting across from a big table where Maj. Nair and Brig. Chandok were sitting. Jai went and joined Nair and Chandok at the table, he was sitting in between them
"Shall we proceed?" Brig. Said to everyone.
"Sir why did you call this last minute press conference?" a reporter questioned.
"Only Capt. Rajveer can answer that" Brig. said turning to Jai.
"It is our duty to find our country's enemy and it is your job to inform the rest of our country about our finding, and that is exactly what we are going to do?" Jai said.
"You mean, you have some information about terrorist?" Another reporter shouted.
"Yes. You see a couple of weeks ago, Cadet Singh, Cadet Baig, Cadet Ghai, Cadet Huda, Cadet Sahni, captain Abhimanyu and I made a plan to expose the biggest informer of our country...Eagle." Jai said. This caused whispers among the reporters and Brig. Chandok gave Jai a look that said "You will never change" Jai inserted a hard drive to the computer sitting in front of him.
"You can see on the white board back there all the information about Eagle. We all already knew who Eagle was, but we needed evidence to prove our proof. At the end of the page you can see that Eagle is none other than our respected Minister Mr. Lala Gehlot." Jai said and this cause another round of whispers among the reporters.
"Oai, what is he doing?" He is actually taking against Lala. We thought that he was working with Lala." Pooja said.
"Right punjaban, plus this Lala is nowhere to be seen" Huda said. "Sir why are you smiling." Huda questioned Abhimanyu as he thought that smiling at such time was strange.
"I just got a call from one the men that had gone to rescue Rajveer. He said that Rajveer is fine and is outside KMA" Listening to this Naina's happiness knew no bound. She got up to go out, when something Jai said caught her attention.
"But what surprised me more than Lala being Eagle was the fact that my own Cadets and friends were helping Lala" Jai said. He looked directly at the cadets with an evil smile. "As you can see in the next few pages, the cadets that were supposed to be helping me and Capt. Abhimanyu are also part of Lala Gehlot's gang." All the cameras and the reporters turned to the corner where Naina and the rest of the cadets were standing with Capt. Abhimanyu.
"Lies" Naina said and walked up to Jai. "How many more lies can you tell?" Naina questioned holding Jai's collar.
"The truth hurts Cadet Singh. You probably should have thought twice before helping a traitor like Eagle, but I think it was out of your control, right? I mean being a traitor is in your blood, like brother like sister." Jai said which earned his a tight slap across his cheeks. Everyone in the room stood up by Naina's sudden action. Naina felt something familiar in the air, and she immediately knew that he somewhere close by.
"If you are Captain Rajveer, than who is he" Naina said and pointed to the door at the exact time Rajveer walked in. All were shocked seeing two Rajveer in one room. "Whatever this guy said about us is false. It is true that Lala Ghelot is Eagle, but it is very untrue that we helped him. I have proof. Do you recognize this" Naina said as she pulled out the little computer chip. She walked over to computer and inserted the chip.
"The first few pages has very detailed information about Capt. Rajveer. Now why would a person need to keep such detail records about themselves? It makes absolutely no sense. The next 5 pages include information about Mr. Gehlot AKA Eagle. The dates of these data go back 4-5 years. Why Capt. Rajveer would have information about Eagle from 4-5 years back when he started working of Eagle's case this year itself? The information about Eagle in these couple of pages are more than the information that our Intelligence had gathered. These pages also hold the proof of Capt. Naveen's innocence. And finally, the last couple of page have a detail plan. A plan of taking over Capt. Rajveer's life and gaining revenge for me." Naina said as she scrolled through the file. She looked up at the reporters and said "Why would Captain Rajveer have so much information about himself and Eagle and his plan but zero information about us helping Mr. Gehlot...Why?" Naina said. Jai knew he was trapped, but he gave one last try to save himself.
"What proof do you have that person standing there is Rajveer and I am not?" Jai challenged. Naina wore a calm expression over her face and walked toward Jai. "Because Mister. Rajveer sir has brown eyes and your eyes are gray." Naina said and bend down to the floor and picked up a contact lenses. Jai realized that his contacts had fallen out when Naina slapped him and he had fell down. He knew he had no way out, so he turned around to escape but Abhimanyu was faster than him. Abhimanyu held Jai's hand and twisted it on his back. "The only place you will be going is Jail" Abhimanyu said and pushed Jai out of the room. Naina looked around the room until she saw the familiar brown eyes and ran toward him. Without any warning she wrapped her hand around him and embraced him in a hug.
In the middle of the room stood two lovers in each other's arm. They didn't see the people leaving the room. They couldn't hear the noises of reporters of discussing what just happened, because they were in their own world. They were with each other, and for them nothing and no one else mattered.
"I love you Rajveer sir" Naina whispered in Rajveer ears.
"I love you too Cadet Naina Ah' Singh" Rajveer answered and kissed her forehead, and they both headed out...hand in hand.

Last and the longest chapter done. I am sorry if I disappointed anyone with the ending...I want all you to know I try my best. I will be updating the epilogue in a few days and we will be all done with the books. Please hit the like button and comment.
