I am unable to post a comment on the blog for some reason, so here it is -

I absolutely love the song choice, goes well with the chapter in the sense that it highlights the intrigue around what exactly do Kaveri Khushi and Arnav Varun have going on and how does Arjun fit in the picture...

This para gives some hints about how Khushi may have felt for Arjun or maybe still does -

"It should have surprised her that even after all these years, Arjun couldn't bring himself to call her Khushi. He was the only one who called her Kavi. And it was endearing. She was Kaveri to the world, Khushi to those she loved and Kavi to Arjun. A twinge of emotion she had long forgotten pinched her. If only... Khushi shook her head to clear the train of thoughts that she knew would follow."

And the fact that the past fragility in their relationship comes to fore when Arnav enters the conversation makes me believe that he was one of the major reasons for it...

Anyway, the prologue is as intriguing as one would hope the prologue to be.

PS - The connection between the names Kaveri and Varun (and Arnav) is nicely done. Kaveri, a sea; Arnav, an ocean and Varun, the sea God and of course Arjun - the one whom Varun helped in the war...

I haven't read it yet, and I will be back with a comment for later, but I felt I had to say this. I'm on chapter 51 of EIT and I...don't know. I almost always have something to say for stories I read, but never yours. This was exactly how I felt when I was reading Careless Whispers and A Word's Worth.

Your writing is purity in its finest sense. I love how you never force tragedy into your stories, just the gentle lilting waves of melancholy. The sadness that your characters carry in their eyes, their hearts, their souls, but rarely speak of. The love between your Arnav and Khushi in EIT...I'm going to be the 'teenager' I am and say "I can't even!"

I may not remember the exact plot or the dialogues of all your stories, but I will always remember how they made me feel. Like I wanted to cry, but the tears never come. I have never cried while reading your work, because they make me feel so much more.

I know I'm going to carry The Emerald Isle Tales with me for a really, really, long time.

Simply Superb,the flow of events and onomatopoeia of things around is my grabber.Small detail which usually is not important to some but eyes search for it s always.The elements which are not seen to others ,I adore em because those add to stories, characters and reflect every corner of the events and arrange the flow of avalanche followed by streaming dust of snow to settle the coldness yet bringing it to at piece and that is your story.

Brilliant start, Arnav Varun, and Kaveri , a sacred river ...a name of expression and creativity,while Varun is Lord of water...infinity within...great combo ..lets see how river merged into this ocean.

Best Tuesday ever 😊😛. Few weeks ago i was thinking about reading Emerald Isles again and so i did even send you a request for access to that and now i see you here with new story 😛.
