I really donn know where to start..sooo much happened in this update, I am stunned..even though Kushi is not crying openly, I am..I am in tears as I read each update..thats the beauty of your update Radhika..

"So deep, Ms Gupta, so deep." Is this Arnav or Aman? I feel he came for sangeet.

I love Preeto, Ginny and Jun.. they r so cute..and Payal's dad too..somehow I was thinking he will oppose if Payal and Arnav break up but he is quite open for a right wing politician..he wants her to marry for her and madam wants compatibility only..

btw these dialogues stood out for me today..

He realised that Aakash was basically doing something similar to what the bouncers did at Keya, keeping away the Gangnam style dancers.

Poonam raizada did something..why is Arnav saying my family?was he also involved? He means HP and Poonam as family? I somehow don't understand him at all.. what is in his mind about Payal, family business and more importantly Kushi..

I am glad Kushi's parents are still alive..somehow I feel they are angry with Kushi for not leaving college, may b bcos of Aarav - Shyam fiasco?? waiting for you to throw one more surprise at us.

Payal liked Aman..this jodi is also not bad.!!

I will comment more as I read other comments..I love to read comments for this wonderful story

This is NOT a comment. This is just my little brain trying to keep up with ALL that happened in this chapter:

- Khushi is so lonely (I have told you before that your story is melancholic even when we dont know what tragedy happened in the past. I guess facts like these give that feeling) Either her parents have abandoned her or she must have decided to lead her life in Delhi... But the question is asia kya huwa tha ke Khushi's parents decided to leave Delhi to never return? Is Khushi's father angry with her for what happened or for her wanting to stay behind to salvage T&S? What had happened that the fighter Khushi had given up on college? What happened that Khushi too distanced herself from the rest of the world?

- So, Preeto did prove to be a good friend to Khushi; being her support these many years and helping her without disrespecting her. She, like Aakash, kept in touch with her. Ok, I like her. Yep, I am fickle that way 😛 Good Preeto found someone good enough for her.

- Khushi couldnt save Gupta Mithai... Why? Wasnt that Shashi Gupta's job? Why does she hold herself responsible?

- Arnav 'almost destroy[ed] Khushi's life'... How? What was it that he did/ didnt do that deserves to be punished acc to Preeto? We know that Poonam Raizada wanted her out of college but inn sab main Arnav ka kya scene hain??

- Preeto, Lavanya, Karthik, Veena, Arnav, Payal, Aakash... everyone Khushi knew is settled in their own lives; married, working or both. Does Khushi ever feel left behind? The one place that ishers, where she feels a sense of belongingness towards, Chandni Chowk, might slip out too if T&S doesnt survive 😭

- Small world. A connection that joins T&S to AnandRams to the Singhs and thereby to Khushi's past. Hmmm

-When Poonam called Arnav and Preeto coaxed Khushi to dress up in designer wear, I expected Arnav to show at the sangeet. Damn! Koyi nahi. Khushi enjoyed with Aakash... Does he like her? If yes, why hasnt he asked her out yet?

- So people around them notice, how dull Arnav and Payal are with each other... They are not even interested in each other's lives! Btw, all the Raizadas ARE obsessed with Khushi, doesnt matter how much Anjali and Arnav deny.

- Why is Arnav so guilty? I am dying of curiosity here. So, Aakash refused to help Arnav and told him clearly to stay away from Khushi. Hmmm... Let's see what Arnav does next...

- Chawla's daughter was a debating champion but the New-On-Ites have to remember as Opposite Chawla only! Snobs!

- The worst for the last: Payal is very independent. She doesnt even do her laundry, is too lazy to change the address of her subscriptions and wants a servant for dowry! She is so independent. Amazing she never gelled well with someone as independent as Khushi then. *scoffs*

- Payal must defo wonder why every guy was so interested in Khushi... Aman, Arnav,specifically. Was she insecure about this in a way? Another reason to dislike Khuhi? Did Payal have an inferiority complex about her superiority complex? 😆

Have I missed anything??

Other things:

No one has ever commented that I have lost weight EVER 😭

It is not you. It is IF. Vijay is trying to bring in 'radical changes'.

I liked how you had a radio recurring throughout the chapter; different for each character.

The only two musical references I caught on were RD Burman and Kashmir ki Kali. I couldnt recognize any of the other song references. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? 😕

When in Delhi last, I wanted to buy a 'phiran'. Par phir socha it would be a waste in the unchanging heat of Mumbai, why bother? (I am cool and hot 😛 with English, Hindi and Hinglish. Sab chalgeha 😊)

I have tasted mithai shaped like fruits. I never liked the taste of those; fruits should be fruit, mithai should be mithai (mental set probably). But I never knew of baby shower themed mithai. Ajeeb hain 😕

Arnav's granddad's description reminded me of Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Agnipath. Agnipath. Agnipath 😉

That is so true... Teachers mark papers based on their mood. Mood is influenced by surroundings. There is a university rule that doesnt allow teachers to take the answer sheets out of a particular room in college designated for correcting papers. This rule is shamelessly flouted, of course.

Anyway, I have updated. Things you may notice:

1. There is no cliffhanger

wrong..who says Deep Gupta in the end? :-)

2. It is not a sad chapter

It is not sad,...but your beautiful writing automatically gets tears in my eyes.

3. There is a lot of Payal

Even though I don't like her, this gave us a lot of insight into her character.

4. It is way too long
Noticed it and LOVE IT.

5. There are no mithai recipes to piss you off
Hee heee I am fine with either..

6. There is a lot of Hinglish (I don't know if Hindi requires to be translated, but I figured it might be distracting for the reader if I have a whole lot of parentheses)
I am fine with Hindi, English, Hinglish or Kannada :) as long as you keep writing

Other things:

7. I have written over 50K words in this story already. It somehow feels like an achievement
It is our good luck

When Payal considered taking Sonu as a dowry to Raizada House...that really cracked me up as I remembered HP was a part of Poonam's dowry and now he a spy, willing accomplice trusted aid...to Poonam...

Though it won't happen, I still couldn't resist contemplating that if at all Arnav marries Payal and Sonu comes to RH as a part of dowry, then it would be Senior PASR & HP v/s Junior PASR & Sonu...🤣
