He let his head drop as his eyes began to burn. Crying was indefinite. The tears flowed, uncontrolled as he stumbled down the hospital corridors , colliding with anyone who dared step in his way. He was blind to his direction, unable to make sense of who or what he might be running into. Nothing mattered as of right now. His shattered heart just knew it had been betrayed by the one person he held near dear, and the other was ready to leave him alone in this world of miseries. .
Even the hospital staff was cold and unfeeling. Avoiding eye contact and polite conversation. Perhaps the pain and death of the hospital had drained away their humanity
He stood beside his granny's hospital bed unprepared for the sight of his granny bundled with unearthly and gross medical equipments
He immediately held her bandaged hands into his as he leaned forward to kiss her but ended up burying his face against her neck and started sobbing
"You aren't going to die ,granny,are you?",he questioned between his hiccups
"Our hangman is waiting granny ,come on ..wake up granny",he juddered her frame
"We are still left with many things to do,granny"
"Together",he hissed in agony

Hours rolled by when a nurse in blue witnessed him snoring beside his granny
He resembled a 4 year old kid sleeping in his mother's embrace listening her melodious lullaby considering it to be the safest place ,where no ghost would ever haunt him ,where only fairies resided ,where there was love and no agony ,no pain ,no tears ,no desolation, no farewells...
"Sir"
He opened his eyes with a jolt
"No ,no granny no ",he blabbered unconsciously as if he dreamt something horrifying
"Sir ,it's me ,the nurse",came a mellow whisper
"Oh,je suis desole madame",he apologised while rubbing his eyes laced with dark shadows beneath

"Ahem puis -je entrer docteur?",he entered as a lady in 30s gestured him to enter
"Mr.Shekhawat " ,she eyed him
"Your granny has been put on ventilators ,Mr.Shekhawat"
"we are trying our best but she won't ..",she halted as he extended his palm indicating her to stop
"Don't ...just don't ",he warned
His legs stammered as fear stuck him and he silently moved out closing the door behind with a thud
And a dull clunk sound echoed as the brass name plate fell off the quartz door flashing it's owner's name engraved widely
"Dr.Rochelle"

His steps were shorter and slower now ,Reality stuck him ,his chest became heavy as he continued to walk having no idea of where to go ,whom to plead ...
He reached for the door of his granny's hospital room and heard her fumble voice from inside
"Sanyukta"
"Sanyukta ...officer,she stabbed me"
He immediately rushed inside just at the moment when she lay unconscious again
"Did she,did she say sanyukta officer?",asked randhir widening his brows in disgust ,his eyes blood red in anger...
"Yes ,Mr.Shekhawat ,the girl named sanyukta is the suspect "
"You know her Mr. Shekhawat ?"
"Yes officer ,i know her ",he retorted after a pause
"Very well",he added
He stormed out of the room and signalled jordan to accompany him ...

"Randhir,my love,where were you these days? "
"I missed you so much ",chirped sanyukta as she guided him closer
They entered her appartment together ...
She cupped his cheek and stood by her toes
"You're running high on fever ,what happened randhir?",she uttered with sheer concern in her eyes
Randhir didn't reply
He instinctively ran the flat of his palm tracing every possible niche of her face ,down her cheeks ,circling down to her chin,he swept the jut of her jaw slowly inching towards her neck,when he got halfway down her throat ,he cupped her neck mercilessly to which she visibly winced as his nails digged deep into her wheatish flesh ...
"Such a piece of trickery ,you are Ms.Aggarwal",he hurled back in vexation as he continued his physical torture on her neck
"Ahh..Randhir",she groaned in pain
"Don't you dare bark my name from your filthy mouth ,you bitch" ,Randhir roared
He grabbed her upper arms , and dragged her to the washroom
Anger made his eyes flash with amber sparks ,the demon within him surfaced
"Randhir ,please ,i ain't getting anything"
"Leave me randhir "
"Leave me",she pleaded though she knew her words were mere futile attempts
"What did i do ,randhir?",she choked
"I supposed you to be a well crafted ,wickedly witty witch ...running after my riches "
"I supposed you to be a desperate woman ,craving for physical pleasure ",he hovered
"Ahaan !!but i didn't know you're a stabber too ,you dared stab my granny ,sanyukta?"
"My granny",he hissed out the words as he turned to the white sink and twisted on the hot water
He clutched her arms and guided her hands beneath the steamy hot water
She screamed in pain ,"Randhi..."
"It's burning randhir ..ahh ..it's burning
",she cried
The burning was incredibly painful ,tears flooded her eyes ,her hands were no different from a red hot branding iron
"You deserve it Sanyukta ,it's just the beginning Sanyukta ,i assure you ",he fumed in anger
"and you know what ?",he gritted
"You're a "s**t" , A s**t made up for every other pervert's evening pleasure"
With this he pushed her hard ,she collided with the wall behind and became insentinent
"You''ll be living your worst nightmares Sanyukta,mark my words darling",he smiled through his tears
Was he crying ? Yes he was ...
Her blistered hands ,wounded neck ,scrotched arms and her unconscious state were the evidence of the physical torture she witnessed
He barged out of the apartment ,not before wearing his shades
He walked through the corridoor
"She is inside ,officer"
"Arrest her" ,he commanded
