Thread 4...truly amazing!!!

This thread is dedicated to my readers, who have showed such enthusiasm, love, and support for this story, the characters, and me. No one can take that away from us... So thank you for getting us to Thread 4...yes..us, since this thread belongs to everyone who reads Stripped!

Let the celebrations continue, keep the comments coming... don't forget the speculations...you know how much I love them!!! And most of all happy reading, because it makes me really happy to write this story!

Story:

This story is going to be a simple love story about Arnav and Khushi which takes place in a Corporate setting in New York with a little past. Come follow their journey and see how their relationship evolves from professional to personal!

Emotions laid bare and Stripped of all pretense...

😆 Now that my mandatory statement is done, I can get to the update!

1. I loved the way Arnav apologized- he was honest, he was regretful, and he meant it. He didn't try to justify himself, he just accepted it- and the two of them together moved on.

2. I legitimately laughed aloud when I read Arnav's solution to her headache. In the middle of physics. Really, acceleration is not that amusing. Why do you do this to me?

3. Arnav's planning holy effing sh*t. What a guy. I demand him for my 18th birthday, please.

4. I liked that Khushi was a little discomforted by his money- she doesn't want him because of his money, or because he showers her with gifts. It's easy to fall into that- but with her, she's not totally comfortable with how much he spoils her.

But also, I like how she doesn't let that interfere with their relationship. She knows he does it because he loves her, and she lets him have that. It makes them happy to see each other happy.

5. That being said, I like how he spoils her. I like that he takes the time to figure out what she wants, that he gets her things and does things for her that he knows she'll like- he doesn't just buy her a car because he can.

He bought her the shoes she wanted, he took her for gol gappe because she likes it... it's all very thoughtful, and not at all like he just spends money to spend it. He thinks about it, and then does it. (I repeat- I demand him as an 18th birthday gift.)

6. Her declaration of love. *faint dead thud* What a perfect confession!

Jigs, my love, many congratulations on a very well deserved new thread for your amazing story 👏 You totally rock 😎

Such a great, totally haayee, update to open it with. Arnav's 'I deci..' certainly got Khushi going. I really liked how she didn't sulk but confronted him and showed that she was able to look at the relationship as a whole even while getting cross about the part. This maturity makes your Khushi stand apart and is one of the many things that has made Arnav so crazy about her.

I loved the way he apologised to her, in so heartfelt a manner and so unreservedly. No ego, no arrogance, just a realisation and acceptance that he was wrong and not afraid of admitting it and ready to learn from it and move on.

It was so sweet the way he wanted to make her headache vanish. Googleji certainly has every remedy to fit the situation 😉 😆

He whisks her away for a surprise holiday That house is stunning. As different as your Arnav and Khushi are!

Can he even get more perfect! Giving her space even while waiting to show her his special gifts! His love for her apparent in every item thoughtfully bought by him. It's interesting how you showed her fleeting feelings of difference in their status, crossing her mind every so often. But, she can see his genuine feelings, which are beyond the material.

The way she introspects about her feelings and asks herself what he truly means to her, makes her voicing her love even more special. It's a culmination of coming together of dil and dimaag. And that is what lasts for hamesha.

Awww Jigs, this was such a cute chapter, totally loved it. Arnav is such a sweetheart, he made up spectacularly methinks... Khushi had no choice but to give in... And I am so glad she did & didn't prolong his torture as the poor guy's heart was definitely in the right place after all... I just went awww, he said he was just being a protective boyfriend & nothing else... That is why he was so worked up about her safety... But he has well & truly learned his lesson with this incident I think, that Khushi is quite capable of handling her issues on her own. He will be there as backup in case she needs any help from him but will not interfere again... I think that was & is the best thing he can do in this relationship...

Loved the trip to The Hamptons... The house is gorgeous. Loved it's contemporary yet homey appeal. Arnav's been shopping for her, isn't that man a darling... But like him, I too would like to see a preview of those itsy bitsy lingerie he bought for her so lovingly on her... 😆

Khushi's confession came like a tranquil wave in the lake... Hit just the right note. Took us all by surprise yet was perfectly timed. I am more than a little curious to see what happens next... Arnav is understandably floored by her confession. He is nuts about her & her confession just made it worthwhile for all his careful planning, which was executed brilliantly btw...

Kudos to Arnav for a fabulous, romantic & most importantly very productive getaway... 👏 👏

Looking forward to the next update already... 😉
