Chapter 3: Happy Birthday!!!!!

Fourteen years later, Year 2014 :

Zurich, Switzerland

"Good morning Harsh. Whats new in the city?" asked Renuka as she brought morning tea for Harsh and herself.

"Nothing much actually. A new film had released this Monday and the review seems to be pretty good. U wanna try?" asked Harsh

"No way. Movies! It's the last thing I would ever do." Exclamied Renuka

"Oh so that's why you let your son into acting is it?" enquired Harsh

"I let my children decide their careers. And more importantly he is multi tasking. Acting as well as taking care of your business. So I don't have a problem with it"

"I at times wish we never shifted here. " Harsh told in a soft whisper

"Dad! That's what I keep telling. Lets get back to India. " chirped a young girl who had just entered the house after her routine work out.

"Hmmm.. will you be able to adjust back there?" asked Renuka

"Mom. Maybe it would be difficult initially but definitely one can." Told a confident girl

"Mishti? Mishti? Where are you?" called out a boy

"Andar ajao bhai. Ghar par hoon. Jaldi aao varna you will miss mom's tea."

Immediately a guy came running inside dusting off the snow. Removed his jerkin and hung it over the coat stand. As he walked further, he stopped before a picture of an old lady, lit the lamp and paid his salutations.

"No one cares about dadi" he complained as he touched Harsh and Renuka's feet.

"God bless you. And you are there right. We keep this work for you." Joked renuka

"Arey aunty where is my green tea?" asked the boy

"Until I get my green tea when have you got Jiggy?" asked a young man who was clad in just white pyjama and kurta.

"Aunty next time you better give me first. Atleast once I wanna be first."

"You win the bet and you will get it. Am always first Jiggy. In everything. And you know it." Saying this the other guy smirked

"Beta. Happy birthday!!!! Jeetey raho" wished Harsh and Renuka

"Thank you mom, dad" said the guy who hugged his parents

"You guys forgot me in the hug." Complained the girl

"Arey Mishti. Aaja;" saying this he pulled the girl into the family hug

As soon as they broke the hug Jiggy took a picture of the cute family and mouthed a Happy birthday to the other guy.

"So where are my presents?" asked the birthday boy

"Bhai your 26. Stop behaving like a child. Be more responsible." Told Mishti

"Hmmm. Baat to sahi kahi tum ne Mishti. Beta kyun na hum ek kaam karte hain. I give you the full responsibility of searching a groom for Mishti." Saying this Renuka hi-fived with her son

"Mom. Aap sirf bhai ko pyar karte ho. Mujhe nahi. Aapka sirf ek prince hai. You all forgot that you have a princess too." Saying this Dhwani faked a cry and was creating a drama holding her dad one hand and Jiggy on thr other.

"Princess se yaad aaya. Beta I gotta talk to you about something important. Do you mind coming into the study?" asked Harsh

"Ofcourse dad" He walked up to his dad's study and closed the door behind him.

After 2 hours, the duo came out laughing. As they came out they saw the other three having quizzical looks on their faces.

"Kya hua?" asked the birthday boy

"Bhai. Aaj ka party cancel" told an annoyed dhwani

"Kyun kya hua Mishti?" he asked

"kyun ki..." She dragged

"Bolo na." he urged her

"woh actually..."

"DHWANI!" he raised his voice a little

"Aapka movie hit hai!! Aur abhi aapko press conference ke liye nikalna hoga. Geneva mein hai.Just now Katie informed." Though she was glad that her brother's movie was a success, yet she was sad as the party got cancelled.

"Acha hai! Paisa bachega!" he told happily

"BHAI!!! ACHA HAI? PAISA BACHEGA? UGH!!!! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?? MISER" shouted dhwani and started hitting the star of the day

"Arey mishti. Suno na. " He tried talking to her and defending himself from her strong punches

"Nahi. Mujhe kuch nahi sunna hai. I want party!" Saying this she continued her punches on his well built body

"Acha teeke. I will inform katie to cancel the tickets." He said and started fishing for his phone in his pocket

"What ticket? And why cancel?" she asked

"Why ? you didn't wanna listen to me. Then why do you wanna know now? " saying this he was teasing her and started taking his cell out

"BHAI!" she shouted and grabbed the cell from him

"Acha listen. Hum sab..." he paused

"Hum sab do din baad..." he paused again

Do din baad kya?" asked an irritated Dhwani

"Do din baad.." He stopped. After this dhwani started walking away as she was frustrated with her brother's act

"India jaa rahe hain" he completed

"What?" asked three surprised people

"Yes." Confirmed Harsh

"Par. Aise kaise? Sach mein?" asked an excited Dhwani

"yup! Dad and I just planned. So get started with your packing" informed Birthday boy

"Yippee!!!!!! You're the best bro!! Love you!! Birthday aapka, lekin aapne mujhe gift diya hai" exclaimed Dhwani aka Mishti, kissed her bro and ran away from the place to make all necessary arrangements.

"Finally hum India jaa rahe hain" told Renuka in relief and left the place taking the tray to kitchen.

"Your sure you wanna do this beta?" asked Harsh once again

"Yes dad! I wont let you down this time" he replied

"Dude! I know its your personal stuff. But still think over again. What if things don't happen our way?" asked Jiggy

"Chill Jiggy! Atleast I will be happy I tried." Explained the boy

Saying this he walked up to his room made a few calls and started packing for his conference at Geneva.
