Chapter 1 : Birth of the Princess

Year 1990 (Continuation from prolugue)

Ahemdabad, Gujarat

Mr.Harsh paid the shopkeeper, made Ankit comfortable in his shoulder , started pushing the pram and slowly started walking towards the hospital where Anju Agarwal was admitted for her second delivery. As he reached the hospital, another lady aged about 28 walked slowly towards him and picked up the kid on the pram and started soothing him as he had started to cry.

"Bhaiya kahan hai? When will he be here" she asked him

"Tumhara bhai hai Renuka. Kabhi nahi sudhrega. Abhi abhi nikla hai office se. Iss bhar bhi pitega bechara." sighed Harsh.

Renuka slightly hit her husband while cajoling the kid in her arms. Meanwhile a nurse came running to them and started shouting "Its about time. We need you to fill in the form. Where is her husband? Will he come or not? Can't he understand the urgency of the situation. "

"Mam am here. Please give me the form. " huffed a man of about 30 years.

" Thank you sir. Do you wish to meet your wife before we take her to the OT? " she enquired.

" I would love to. Waise kaisi hai? Bahut chilla rahi hai kya iss baar bhi? " he asked the nurse for which he just earned a glare from all three of them.

"Tum kabhi nahi shudroge na? Aaj bhi late. Kya karte ho yaar office mein. Iss se zyada important kya kaam hai. Harsh bhai aap isse leke jao yahan se. Mujhe nahi baat karne hai inse." Told an annoyed Anju as he entered the room where she was admitted.

" Arey Anju. Kyun naaraz ho rahe ho. Mein aagaya hoon na. Acha ab tension mat lo aur meri princess ko ..." before he could complete, her labour started and she was rushed into the OT.

It took sometime as she had a lot of complications. Harsh, Renuka and Kishor along with the kids were waiting outside. Kishor was walking up and down the corridor.

"Dhwani kahan hai?" enquired Harsh to Renuka

"I've left her with your mom. Anju needed me. And Randhir hai mere saath abhi. Dono ko laa nahi payi. " informed Renuka

"Good you left her there. Anju ka ache se dhyan rakh paaoge aur mujhe bhi. " he winked to which she blushed.

"Kuch to sharam karo. Do bache ke baap ho." She complained

" Arey yaar mein tension mein hoon aur tum dono aaram se romance kar rahe ho?? " wailed Kishor

"Yaar tension mat lo na. Sab tikh hoga. " said Harsh placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Haan bhaiya. Sab teek hoga" said renuka.

Just then the doctor came out of the OT and congratulated the family on birth of a baby girl. Entire family went inside and saw a bundle lying next to Anju with only her face uncovered.

She was sleeping peacefully in the warmth of her mother.

" Finally hamare Sanyu aagayi!!!" exclaimed Kishor while all 3 of them had tears in their eyes as he took his daughter in his hands.
