Part 2
It was yet another day , in their new life. Kria was making breakfast , when Rey came from behind and wrapped his arms around her. Kria stiffened.
"Kria."
"Yes?"
"I have a surprise for you."
Kria turned , excitement filled inside her.
"What?"
"It's a surprise na! You'll have to wait for it."
Kria's excitement faded and was replaced by anger.
"This is not fair Rey!"
"Everything is fair in."
Kria puts her hand on his mouth. He looked at her , she leaned forward and kissed on her hand. Rey narrowed his eyes. She removed her hand and spoke.
"This would be removed , only after you tell me what the surprise is."
"Kria this is not.."
"Everything is fair in love and war. Isn't it?"
Rey smiled. He spoke in his mind.
"Kria , I promise this time , we would not leave Kolkata till the time we don't find our answers. No meetings , and no work."
Kria looked at him , she raised an eye , he nods in a no and went to change.
Kria smiled to herself. Their relationship had taken a perfect turn. The compromised marriage had turned into a love filled marriage. Both knew each other's feelings , but both were hesitant to confess their feelings.

Kria was walking back to her home , after her college. She could feel someone follow her and felt frightened. Her pace grew but she was suddenly pulled by her arm and dragged to a corner.
Kria shivered in fright , she opened her eyes and saw him. He smiled at her.
"Aap?"
She yelled.
"Reyaansh , agar kissi ne dekh lia hota toh? You know humari families don't like each other and agar.."
"Ssh."
He puts his hand on her mouth.
"Kria , mujhe tumse kuch kehna hain."
Kria's heart started beating faster. Reyaansh pulled her close to him , she had her eyes wide , he smirked seeing the effect he had on her , he turned her. Her back stiffened as he put her hair aside , kria closed her eyes , her breath became heavy . Reyaansh placed a locket on her neck and tied it.
Kria opened her eyes and touched the locket , it was a heart locket. She opened it and saw her pic on one side and on the other was Reyaansh's.(Black and white).
She stared at it when Reyaansh held her waist and pulled her to him whispering in her ears.
"I love you Kria."
Her cheeks turned into a shade of hue , she felt his grip loosening , she turned to reply to him.
"Re-reyaansh. I.."
Kria closed her eyes.
"I love you."
His anxious expression changed into joy filled expression. He hugged her , she hugged him back but pulled back.
"Humare parents , hume maar daalenge Reyaansh."
"Pyaar jaisi darawaani cheez mein gir gaye , parents se kya darna."
Kria giggled and hit him on his chest laughing.

Kria waited for Rey to come , she had been restless the whole day . To distract herself , she would do a thing but then her mind would wander off to the surprise Rey was talking about.
So she switched on the tv , to watch something. She was switching channels when she stopped at one channel , it was showing a couple being murdered by their family members because they were of different caste and in love.
Kria's heart twisted , she felt as if she had been through it , faced it. Her palms turned into a fist , she felt pain burn her heart. She closed her eyes.
"Reyaansh!"
She heard a voice similar to her scream. Her eyes opened with a jolt , she let out a sigh when she saw rey beside her.
"What happened Kria?"
He spoke tensed. She was sweating , he held her hand.
He had known Kria would be really restless and so he had sneaked into the house without ringing the bell. As soon as he had entered , he had seen kria's eyes closed and she looked in pain , in a second he was beside her.
Rey wiped the sweat beds that had formed on her forehead.
"I do-don't know. I j-just.."
"Calm down first."
He gave her water , she drank it.
"I thought I lost you."
Rey sighed , and pulled her close. He stroked her hair , understanding her reaction as even he had been through this few times.
In few minutes , kria came back to normal and pulled back.
"Rey?"
"Yes?"
"My surprise?"
She forwards her hand. Rey smiled and closed her eyes , he got up and kept the tickets on her hand.
Kria opened her eyes , she saw the tickets to kolkata and looked at him.
"I had promised you , this time no meetings."
Kria smiled at him , finally the confusion that had been lingering in her mind was going go cleared. She smiled , and then felt Rey hold her hand and slide a diamond studded ring in her finger. She looked at him in shock.
"This is so beautiful!"
She spoke. Rey smiled and whispered in her ears.
"Now my kiss?"
Kria looked down blushing. She looked at him. Rey pulled her close , kria closed her eyes. He leaned forward and was going to kiss her when they heard somebody clear their throat.
Kria pulled back and saw rey's mom looking at them. They look down embarrassed.
"Jao! Packing nahi karni dono ko?"
"Haan! Jaate hain!"
They went inside. Kriyaansh look at each other and laughed , he pulled her close and kissed her forehead.
"Thanks for coming in my life kria."
Kria smiled.

They reached the mansion after an extremely tiring journey. The care taker showed them the room and went.
Kria kept her luggage and went out , she looked at the replaced painting. Rey came out.
"How much effort she must have put into painting their picture!"
Kria spoke touching the new painting.
"How could they burn it! Sh-she must have felt so bad."
Rey looked at her.
"How do you know , the painting was made by her?"
Kria turned , she beckoned rey to come to her , he came and she took him to another painting , which had kria's name written beneath.
"Kria! She made this. In fact , every painting was painted by her."
Rey saw a different kind of excitement in her. As if , she could relate to the efforts that were put into painting it.
"Rey , she must be so passionate about painting right?"
"You seem equally passionate about them Kria."
Kria looked at him , her smile disappeared and she realized how excited she had been.
She felt as if she had made these paintings. Rey understood that Kria was lost , so he broke her thought process.
"Chalo chodo. Let's have something first! I am starving."
Kria giggled. He picked her up , much to her surprise and took her to the kitchen.
"Aaj mein banauga. I hope care taker ne khaane ka saaman kahi rakha ho."
He placed her on the kitchen slab. Rey was making food , since he knew how to so it wasn't that difficult.
They both felt like they had lived this moment , and were living it again. Both were silent and lost.

"Reyaansh! Aapko nahi banana aayega."
"Kaise nahi aayega? Agar meri jaan mere kaam mein help kar sakti hain toh mein usska kaam kar sakta hun."
"Reyaansh!"
Kria pouts. She had slight fever and because of this her darling husband had not let her do anything!
Now , she was sitting on the kitchen slab , instructing him about what to do.
He was cutting the vegetables , and kria could just thank her god to give her such a loving husband like him.

Rey and kria were talking , while eating. When kria looked up to the closed room.
Rey looked at her and then at the room. He somehow felt that the mystery behind all these unavoidable , mysteries could be decoded only inside that room.
But , there was no key! His mind wanted to break the door , but his heart could feel the pain with which it was made.
It had pained him to see the renovated kitchen , and because of this he knew that , it would pain him more if he breaks that door which he oddly, felt connected to.

"Reyaansh! Iss darwase mein aisi kya khaas baat hain?"
Kria spoke while touching their bedroom's door that was totally different from other rooms.
"Yeh darwasa meri raani ke kamre ka hain , isse sabse alag toh hona hi tha na."
Reyaansh spoke from behind. Kria blushed.
"Aur iski chaabi?"
"Isski chaabi..umm. Chaabi hain hi nahi!"
Kria turned to him. Reyaansh smiled and took hold of her hand , he made her keep it on one side of the key hole first and press it , then he took her hand to the top most corner of that side and pressed that corner and at last he took her hand to the down corner and made her press it. That side of the door opened.
Kria turned to him in shock.
"Kaise?"
He took her inside and made her look at the door.
"Kria bahar jo bhi designs hai voh just ek cover hain , key hole ke side mein jo jagha hain , usse press karne se andar ki jo chaabi hain voh dab jaati hain and darwasa halka sa khulta hain , phir upar aur neeche dabaoge toh darwasa pura khul jaayega."
"Itni mehnat!"
She spoke in shock.
"Aur nahi toh kya , meri jaan ke liye yeh kamra sabse safe bana kar rakha hain."
Kria hugged him. Reyaansh kissed her head.
"I am so lucky! Ki mujhe tum jaisa insaan meri life mein mila hain Reyaansh."
He smiled and thanked his stars as well.

Another day passed with the strange feelings erupting in Kria and Rey's hearts and sadly they could not even decipher the reason.
Kria was sitting on the bed , rey beside her doing some work. When they heard a loud thud on the door.
"What the.."
Rey spoke. He got up to go and open the door , when kria called to him.
"No! Don't open the door."
They again heard it. Kria's heart started beating at rapid speed , her eyes were filled with fear.
"Kria , let me see who is at the door."
"No!"
Rey sensed that she looked scared and walked up to her.
"What's wrong?"
Kria hugged him.
"Don't leave me!"
Rey stroked her hair.
"Ssh."
Kria came back to her senses and pulled back. She wiped her tears.
"What's wrong with me!"
She held her face. She was loathing whatever was happening. The curiosity killing her.
"Kuch nahi hota. Chill , iss ghar ki kaahani tumhare sar mein chad gayi hain. That's it. I assure you I am fine!"
Rey spoke , as always understanding her dilemma. Kria smiled at him. She lied down , to take rest.
Rey went to open the door and saw that few kids had disturbed them. He laughed and closed the door.
He turned and was going to go , when he saw something and he stood rooted to the floor.
Kria! Clad in a white cotton sari was coming from the master bed room's direction running , she reached the stairs , her sari got stuck to her feet and she slipped , she came rolling down the stairs and landed down , her head bleeding profusely.
"KRIA!"
Rey screamed.
Kria who was in the room lying on her bed , sat up straight hearing the scream and ran out.
"Rey?"
Rey saw kria coming out of the room and jolted back to reality. He came to her and held her face.
"Tum theek ho na?"
He pinned her hair back and touched the place on her forehead from where he had seen the blood ooze out.
"Haan , I am fine. Kya hua?"
"K-kuch nahi! Illusion!"
He hugged her. The sight of her surrounded in blood , made him shudder. He couldn't lose her.
"Rey?"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"Hum bahar se khaana mangwaye please?"
"Sure!"
Due to these incidents , both were emotionally as well as mentally shaken and exhausted.
All shops disagreed to deliver the food so far. So rey decided to go and bring the food himself.

Kria was checking her account on her phone , when the bell rang. Kria smiled and came out of her room , but stopped at her tracks.
10 feet away from the door , lied rey on the ground. His head and face smeared with his blood. He had his one hand raised to the direction of the stairs.
"REY!"
Rey heard her scream from outside , and tensed up. He kept the food and took out the spare keys from his pocket. Fumbling he opened the door and ran inside.
Kria stood there , looking at nothing in particular. Her eyes were filled with tears. She was blank as if somebody had snatched her soul , and her body was hollow within , and then she fell down on her knees.
He ran to her.
"Kria?"
Kria looked up , she was amazed. She touched his face , he was there. She looked at the place again , no one was there. She hugged him tightly , as if her life depended on him. He held her close to him , his hands wrapped around her , to protect her from everything she feared at that moment and till eternity.
"Rey!"
Rey stroked her hair , she sobbed. This was it! If this house would make her cry , let the mysteries go and rot , he didn't care , all he cared was about Kria right now.
"We are leaving tomorrow Kria!"
Kria was too tired of what was happening and she agreed to him. He picked her up and took her to their room placing her down. He kissed her forehead.

It was Dashmi , the 10th and the last day of the auspicious festival of navratre and durga pooja. Kria like every year was getting ready for the sindur khela. Reyaansh came inside , he saw kria clad in the saree , and smiled.
He came to her and took the vermillion from her thali (plate) and applied it on her forehead.
"Kaisi lag rahi hun mein?"
She asked.
"Pretty!"
Kria blushed. There was a loud thump on the door.
"I'll go and see."
Reyaansh said and went. Kria smile and wore her earrings and was setting her sari when she heard him scream and looked at the door horrified , she left the thali and ran out closing the door. She reached the staircase and saw their family , her brother had hit reyaansh with a rod and he had fallen down , his face smeared with blood.
"REYAANSH!"
Kria screamed , she ran down but slipped and fell down.
"Kria!"
She could hear his weak scream. Reyaansh's dad came to kria who had fallen down. Reyaansh forwards his hand to Kria , she did as well. Reyaansh saw the knife in his father's hands and let out a helpless cry , he tried to get up but was knocked down by another blow , kria closed her eyes , she couldn't see that.
"Kri..."
She heard him call and felt , a sharp object go inside her body. She sobbed and opened her eyes.
"Reya.."
They couldn't speak , tears fell down from their eyes. Three paintings of them were thrown between them , kria's father put them on fire.
"Pa.."
How could he do this! Reyaansh remembered what effort Kria had put into making them.
They were dying they knew , they were getting separated , they knew that as well.
Rey spoke.
"T-tum h hum don dono k-ko maa-maar t-toh do-doge , le-lekin hu-humare py-pyaar k-ko n-nahi..."
"Hu-humara py-pyaar is-ss gh-ghar k-ki de-deewaron me-mein hu-humesha je-jeeyaga..."
"A-aur e-ek di-din hu-hum wa-wapas aa-aayenge.."
"E-ek ba-baar ph-phir ap-apne py-pyaar k-ko e-ek na-naya jee-jeevan de-dene ke li-liye..."
"E-ek ba-baar ph-phir is-ss gh-ghar me-mein Me-mein a-aur kria saas lenge.."
"A-aur us-uss ba-baar bh-bhi jeet hu-humare py-pyaar k-ki hogi!"
Kriyaansh spoke looking into each other's eyes through the fire. They now spoke together.
"I love you!"
And with that they were hit again and took their last breath , with smiling faces.
Yes , they were killed , but their love won. How? They had promised to live and die together , and that's what they did , lived an died together. Their love might have been short-lived , but it had been enough to keep them happy in the last few years of their life.
They might have died that day , but their love didn't end that day. Their love story wasn't a story that had an end . Their story had been breathing in the mansion , waiting for them to come back.
When people were rejoicing about the festival , two souls were dying. How could they be separated? They were killed so that could live in a world where they didn't need to run away from anyone. It was truly their love that won not their families' hatred.

Kria opened her eyes , it was night. Her last night in this mansion. She saw rey sleeping , holding her possessively. She smiled and caressed his hair. It was her last night here and she wanted to solve this mystery at any cost.
She got up slowly , and walked out. She stood in front of the staircase , closing her eyes she walked upstairs , she was getting flashes of a girl running down the stairs and falling but she walked.
She reached the door , and looked at it. She heard a voice.
"Yeh darwasa meri raani ke kamre ka hain , isse sabse alag toh hona hi tha na."
Kria shivered. It was rey's voice. She turned he wasn't there.
Rey woke up and saw that kria's wasn't there. He got up and saw her upstairs. He slowly walked up to her. He faced the door behind her.
Involuntarily, his feet started moving ahead. He reached kria , and held her palm. Kria stiffened and looked at him. He closed his eyes and got flashes of how to open the door.
He placed her hand beside the key hole and pressed it , then on the top and then down. The door opened much to Kria and rey's shock.
Kria turned to Rey.
"How did you.."
"I do-don't know."
Kria came inside , an switched on the small bulb. Surprisingly it worked. Kria saw the thali there , she picked it up.
It just had the vermillion. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw her standing in a white sari.
"Kr-kria!"
Rey spoke in utter shock. Kria turned to him , he pointed at the huge portrait behind the bed. Kria moved back in shock.
It was them! Kria and Reyaansh's portrait.
"Th-this ai- ain't po- possible."
Rey stammered. They were stunned would be an understatement. Kria walked to the painting and touched it. She closed her eyes remembering her making this portrait.
Kria spoke.
"5 days!"
"Huh?"
"It took 5 days to paint this Rey! Maine banayi hain yeh."
She said numb.
"Kria this is not possible , dad must be playing a game with us."
"It's no game Rey!"
She held his hand and made him touch the door.
"Tumhe kaise yaad aaya yeh darwasa kaise khulta hain?"
Rey closed his eyes , he got flashes was him teaching kria how to open the door.
The two look at each other , rey held her hand, they closed their eyes and remembered the dreadful day , their last sentences.
"Hum wapas aaye!"
They spoke together. Kria looked at him. Both were in tears.
They realized that their generation old love story was getting another start , a start where nobody was going to oppose their love. A start where they were already living in their safe heaven.
They had taken a re-birth to give a new start to their love story. They were shedding tears of happiness. They remembered it all , the pain , the love every single thing.
Rey cupped her face.
"Iss baar , hum apne pyaar ke saath jeeyenge Kria..."
"Kria aur Reyaansh ki love story adhuri nahi rahegi..."
"Iss baar , koi humein tod nahi paayega."
"Koi nahi!"
Their foreheads met. They just wanted to live this re-union forever , and re-living their love story , which had found a new way , a new life. Rey suddenly pulled back and smiled. He went to the cupboard and took out a locket.
The same locked reyaansh had gifted her. Kria looked at him. He turned , and put her hair aside. Kria's breath hitched. She closed her eyes as she felt him place the locket on her neck. He tied it slowly.
"I love you Kria Reyaansh Singhaania! I love you more than anything in this world."
Kria turned , she was blushing as well as had tears in her eyes.
"I love you too Rey! I love you too."
He pulled her in a tight hug , she closed her eyes. Kria spoke
"Humesha.."
"And forever."
He completed.
The two souls that had drift apart , were now together . This time there bond was stronger and deeper. This time no body could separate them.

Kria and Reyaansh , had a love story that didn't have an end. It was eternal. The mansion had seen their love bloom twice and it may see it blooming infinitely.
Cause Kria and Reyaansh were two souls that would never get separated in any birth they took.
Cause Kria and Reyaansh are two souls that are meant to be together in any universe.
Cause Kria and Reyaansh are meant to be Kriyaansh.
