What to say Sandhya...awesome update...very emotional...what a terrible human being...Arjun Mallik...I just hope now the society has changed but I don't think so...we still have people like him in this world. Ahalya knows about her husband but she still got Greeshma into the Sheesh Mahal...it just like she was the one who helped her husband...but I know she is a gem of a person...who again helped her. I have no idea what will be Garima's reaction after knowing that Arnav is Arjun's son. Anya is step sister of Khushi...what will happen when they all will come to know the truth. Looking forward to the mystery unfold next week...OMG...it is going to be long wait.

Hats off to you as it was taken lot of strength on your part write this update...it seems that I am watching some old movies where the Zamidars are like Arjun Mallik.

I am not at all guilty for being not punctual and lagging behind with the updates because reading the past few updates together gave me a chance to enjoy the myriad of emotions flowing in with every update. There was purity, sanctity, happiness, misery, love, pain, hatred, jealousy, pity and so many more. The past few updates definitely were power packed.

First the story of Gareeshma, how sad. First she is intelligent enough to win a scholorship to a university, then her dad has a stroke, she is then left to fend for herself. Untilnshe is taken in by a woman with a heart of gold, but one which either trusts her husband and refuses to believe that her husband is a nasty piece of scum, or she understands that these things happen and foolishly allows a beautiful girl to stay under her roof. Either way, Gareeshma is left there to bear the brutality of the world. I hope life is better than it was lets face it what 30 years ago?

Now there are two thoughts one is that khushi is Arnav half sister , Nanni convincing Garishma to keep the baby, especially as she cannot have any more. OR the baby was Anya or Anjali. No dates, so its possible that Anjali is Gareshmas daughter. Khushi could have then been adopted.. considering it would take a couple of years for Gareeshma to complete her studies, marry and then decide to adopt or maybe fate decided thst Gareeshma deserved to have a child of her own she could have been a testube baby! After all Gareeshma is an educated girl. I dont know... if its the latter Anjali finally gets to be in with the three musketeers. If its Anya no issues there either and in both Khush can still get together with Arnav. If Arnav and Khushi are blood related 😭. Need to go back to check out the names of Arnav parents...

either way awesome episode, hat s off to your storytelling, you had us guessing as to who the girl was in your prequel , even now who is this baby. AMAZING 👏

The much awaited unveiling of the past brought to fore the repugnant realities of feudal domination and subjugation. It was heart breaking to read of the humiliating massacre of the 'essence' of a promising young life 'Greeshma'. It is an appalling fact that even today monsters like Arjun Malik continue to prey on the poor and helpless, while successfully evading retribution for their inhuman misdeeds.

Both Ahalya and Greeshma are victims of primitive authority, yet these remarkable women exhibit an indomitable spirit... Greeshma by deciding to walk out of Sheesh Mahal regardless of her impoverished state, to singlehandedly take care of her unborn child and sick father; and Ahalya who with the complete knowledge of her family feigns pregnancy in order to give Greeshma's child its legal name and respect in society.

You have portrayed all of the above with immense sensitivity and compassion. Kudos to you for keeping to the storyline envisioned by you and presenting it to us with such clarity and honesty.

You do mention Ahalya leaving to visit her ailing father with her mother-in-law, didi and children. Not clear whether the children are Ahalya's and/or her Didi's'... as such the 'baby' could be anyone of the 3 Raizada siblings... waiting for the next phase of reveal in the upcoming chapter(s).

the child is anjali! it couldn't be Anya, the timeline wouldn't match if it were Anya. I mean I thought it was Anya earlier, but I know that can't be it, anjali has to be greeshma's child. besides, you haven't mentioned any other kids of ahalya's yet, so it must be anjali only.

Loved the chapter. Reveal the history soon so we can have more of arnav working his charm on a resistant khushi.

1. What would most zamindar wives have done in Ahalya's place? (Zamindars leading the kind of life style Arjun Mallik did was fairly common in the era in question here).

2. What would have happened to Greeshma (No family, father paralysed), if Ahalya had simply given her some money (say 5k INR) and left her to her fate?
