Harry tensed about Ginny's reaction...😆 Let's hope she won't be mad...😆

"What does he mean?" Ron asked as they walked to Harry's office.

"You'll know in a moment." Harry replied him feeling quite tensed now. Ginny would not be happy with him.

Harry reached his office to find Estella and Alex waiting for him by the Gargoyle. Estella hadn't known the password.

Harry took her and Alex with himself, Ron and Hermione hoping against hope that Ginny would not dare say anything in front of them. Sure enough, when he entered he found Ginny sitting in his chair fuming. The moment he had entered Ginny had stood up but the moment her eyes fell on Alex following him inside she pocketed her wand and hugged him. She looked at Harry quite angrily when she let go of Alex.

"We need to talk." Harry turned to Estella.

She nodded seriously.

"How did you find Alex?" Harry asked her.

"I was returning to the Castle when I saw the Green House in ruins."

"Returning?"

"Oh, I am sorry, I haven't told you everything. I had left the Castle to see Tom at Porch's hut."

"See him at Porch's hut? Didn't you..." Ron had started without thinking then realized Alex stood among them. "er...have dinner with him?"

"You can say it was a date, Uncle Ron." Alex winked at Ron as everyone smiled rather embarrassed.

"And how do you know it was a date?" Ginny asked rather curious.

Alex hesitated a moment then realized he didn't have any other option but to tell them. He would try to keep James' secret as much as it would be possible for him. They didn't need to know about him. "I saw them..." Alex said nodding at Estella. "In the dungeons, dancing..." Estella flushed a dark shade of pink.

"What were you doing there?" Hermione asked.

"Wandering..." Alex replied rather hurriedly. All five of them exchanged looks. Apparently there was something he wasn't telling them.

However, before Harry could ask any more Tom entered followed by Porch, Duds and the rest of the Army.

Alex took the opportunity of the sudden commotion and fell silent. Harry, though wasn't going to let it be. "You were saying?" He turned back to Alex as the door closed after Padma.

"Nothing..." Alex replied looking at his shoes.

Tom looked at Harry questioningly. Harry shook his head quite irritated. Tom understood. He spoke up.

"We need to know how you ended up outside the Castle during the curfew, Alex. It would help us all understand what exactly happened."

Alex who had felt like he had been saved the moment Tom had entered looked up at him to tell him everything truthfully but he wasn't going to let out James' secret either.

Tom looked into his innocent eyes and knew exactly what he had been trying to hide from Harry. Harry would not be happy with James if he found out. But he had to tell the rest to Harry.

"I came looking for you at Porch's hut." Alex replied looking back down at his shoes.

"How did you know I would be there?" Tom asked feeling quite surprised.

"He probably saw the patronus Porch sent you." Estella replied. Tom understood. Alex had been watching them. He decided not to embarrass him and moved on.

"Why did you come looking for me?"

"I got locked out of the dormitory after curfew. I didn't know where else to go..." Alex replied in a small voice.

"You mean where else to go without being put in a detention?" Harry completed for him.

Tom looked at Harry with an expression that asked him quite clearly to drop it.

"You didn't come to us." Porch said looking at Tom.

"I didn't want to enter the burnt down hut." Alex replied.

They all understood. He had reached there after the wolf had entered the Castle and by the time he had returned the wolf had come out of hiding.
