Duds who had been quite worried since Harry had told him what Tom had done entered the Wing to see Tom barely standing in the middle of the Wing but quite alright. Relief swept over him but he decided to show him some anger as it was getting quite careless of him, throwing himself around like he was made of steel while in fact he wasn't.

He strode towards him and as Tom smiled at him thinking that he was about to be hugged by him poked him rather hard in the chest making him fall right back on to the stone floor.

As Tom stared at Duds' screwed up face he smiled. He knew he was about to be scolded and embarrassed in front of professional aurors but he didn't care. Duds was one of the few who were allowed to do this to him.

"You went through the Green House?! Have you lost your mind?!" Dudley had practically shouted at him.

"Hey, don't shout at him." Alex came running out from his bed to protect Tom and stood facing Dudley like the responsible one as a smile flickered on Tom's face and as Dudley looked over Alex's head at Tom, Tom saw the corners of Dud's mouth twitch a little as well.

"He's not the only one that'll be listening to my shouting, young man, you are going to get as much of it!" Duds replied him sternly as Alex turned to look at Tom who grabbed his arm and pulled him down on to the floor on his lap.

"We're listening." He turned to Duds smiling as Harry and the others in the Wing laughed out.

"There's absolutely nothing funny about what he said!" It was Madam Brown she had a flask for Tom who could feel humour leaving him as she neared them with the flask.

"Let's see who laughs now!" Duds said positively grinning folding his arms.

Alex stood up immediately turning back to his bed.

"Hey, I thought you were protecting me!" Tom said concealing a smile.

"I think Alex is trying to show you that sometimes we should fight our fears ourselves, right?" Harry said looking at Alex.

"Absolutely!" Alex replied waving at Tom turning back to his bed.

"Not that way, Mr. Longbottom." However, before he had taken one more step, Harry stopped him. He decided to talk to him himself. "Madam Brown, is he free to leave the Wing?" He turned to Lavender.

"Why yes, but I would appreciate if he stayed the night."

"That he will, but I intend to borrow him for a while."

"Then you may do as you wish, headmaster." Lavender allowed him leave as Alex fully felt the impact of who is Uncle Harry was at Hogwarts. He was about to be asked how he had been left out of his dormitory. James would kill him.

"Professor Zavatti, would you accompany Mr. Longbottom to my office?" Harry turned to Estella who nodded and took Alex with her.

As Alex walked out Tom made to get up but fell back again. He was feeling the effects of the poison. Harry had probably healed him but the poison had yet to be removed.

"You're not getting any sympathy from me by pretending to be weak." Duds said assuming he was pretending to be saved from being scolded again.

"He's not pretending." Porch entered the Wing doubling up followed by Padma who strode straight to Tom. "He's been poisoned." Porch informed Duds who immediately bent down to help him up as Padma handed him a flask while Porch distributed flasks around the Wing to everyone else who had been poisoned.

Tom took it and drank. He took it in one gulp knowing not taking it wouldn't help anyone. He had only just handed it to Madam Brown when Padma hugged him.

"I am so glad to know you're fine."

Tom smiled at her as Duds hugged him next. "You could have mentioned." Duds said the moment he pulled away from him.

"Like you would have let me!" Tom replied smiling. He knew Duds cared about him that was why he had been angry.

"I should be patient." Duds replied rather embarrassed.

"So should I." Porch added as he hugged Tom making his knees buckle again. "I am sorry for being rather harsh earlier."

"It wasn't your fault." Tom replied patting the little of his elbow he could grab. "I was needed and I couldn't give a hundred percent of myself. Anyone would be impatient."

"I shouldn't have been either." Harry said hugging him in turn. "But I don't want you to do what you did today, either." He said as sternly as he could. "Alex wouldn't have been happy living at the cost of your life. He has already had to deal with the death of his parents, he shouldn't have to deal with losing anyone else." Tom understood Harry's seriousness. He nodded silently. "I want everyone in my office as soon as they feel alright." Harry announced to the whole Wing and turned to leave.

"Harry..."

Harry had just turned when Tom stopped him short.

"I won't be hard on him." Harry smiled turning back.

Tom smiled too. "I know you won't be. But I wanted to know something else. Where's Ginny? Is she alright?"

Harry's smile faded. "She's alright." He replied him then left followed by Ron and Hermione. But Tom knew exactly what Harry had done. The moment Harry had thought of her his occlumency had cracked and Tom had seen exactly what Harry had done to keep her safe. As far as he knew Ginny she would not appreciate it.

"She will be." He replied Harry just as he had reached the gates of the Wing.

Harry turned and looked at him a moment hoping he was right. He had understood Tom could tell things better then he let on, only he had never tried exploiting it. He nodded and left.

"What does he mean?" Ron asked as they walked to Harry's office.

"You'll know in a moment." Harry replied him feeling quite tensed now. Ginny would not be happy with him.
