Harry who had only just entered the Green House having finally ended a nightmare stood transfixed for a moment. He had no idea what to do. He had only just stunned Greyback who had been an inch from Tom and now lay right on top of him. He made to run toward him when his eyes fell on Estella right beside him who seemed to have frozen where she stood.

"Are you alright?" He shook her by her hand and realized that she was bleeding. He healed her instantly. "Estella!"

She looked at him at the sound of his voice then looked at Greyback. "Alex..."

Harry looked around. He too had no idea where Alex was and he wasn't here. He couldn't have wished for anything else at the moment when he saw Ron and Hermione running to the grounds with Alex.

"He's fine, he's here!" Harry pointed at him and as Estella turned to Ron and Hermione he ran to save Tom. He had already wasted too much time. He levitated Greyback's stunned body off of Tom. It was still full moon, Greyback was still a big, heavy and hairy werewolf but the Eldar Wand had been successful in stunning him.

Tom again lay in a debris of glass all around him. What Harry hadn't seen until he turned him over was that he had also been pierced and stabbed with it. There was a pool of blood about him. Harry only wished he hadn't been too late. He swished his wand once and broken glass as well as splinters of wood that had penetrated him flew out. Within seconds Harry had healed every wound that had scarred him and mended every broken bone in his body. He had no idea what he had done to save Alex all he knew was that he had been reckless enough to chase Greyback when he could hardly stand on his own two feet.

Harry checked his pulse. He was alive but he had probably lost too much blood to stay conscious. "Ron, Hospital Wing." Harry turned to Ron and pointed at Tom. Ron understood and left Hermione's side who was trying to calm a very scared Estella.

As Ron took Tom to the Hospital Wing on a stretcher, Hermione took Estella and Alex back to the Castle. Harry turned towards the forest. Where was the Army? He had been near the forest edge when the Army followed by Porch came running out of it. No one had the brooms they had summoned and everyone had their wands out. As Harry watched them come nearer he realized that not one of them were walking right. All of Cho and Micheal, Seamus, Dean, Dennis, Anthony, Terry, Lee Padma and Porch were bleeding rather badly. Porch was supporting a clawed shoulder.

"What happened?" Harry asked the moment they were within earshot.

"Hippogriffs!" Porch answered trying to stay focused through the pain.

"They...attacked...us! Unleashed..."

"We changed course..." Cho could only muster that.

"Hippogriffs misdirected us to them..." Terry added.

"We thought they were Greyback..." Lee continued.

"They got surrounded by the entire clan!" Porch put in. "I got... their Patronuses... I went to them..."

"Did you find the boy?" Anthony asked.

"Yes, he's fine." Harry answered realizing that none of them needed to take more toll than they already had.

"Was it only Hippogriffs or was there someone else in the forest, other than Greyback?" Harry had to make sure.

"I checked... someone had torn the reins of the Hippogriffs... no one had opened those..." Porch answered. "Looked like a mad wolf's job..."

Harry nodded. "Very well, to the hospital wing, all of you, Lavender will patch you up."

"I don't think so... They all got caught with deep gashes... they've all been poisoned... I can get the herbs...to counter it..." Porch spoke up knowing quite clearly these wounds won't heal.

"I feel better..." Padma added coming forward. She had shallow cut across her chest as she had backed out in half a second to save herself. "I can help..."

Harry nodded. He hadn't known about the poison. He let Porch direct the rest of the Army to his hut. He healed Porch and Padma.

"Where's Tom?" Porch asked turning back.

"The Wing." Harry replied. "He's fine, I've healed him, he's just weak." He added seeing a concerned look on Porch's face.

"Thank God." Porch spoke a moment later. "Only if he hadn't cleaned off the herbs I applied... he wouldn't have bled out..."

"And he wouldn't have been able to save Ginny either." Harry said to him quietly emphasizing that Tom's actions had been with the intention to help not make matters worse. He had also understood something but he needed to confirm it. "Did a Hippogriff attack Tom?"

"Yes..." Porch answered quite embarrassed.

"I was able to heal him but he didn't come around. Maybe he needs the herbs you used as does the rest of the Army. I shall only be able to heal everyone. The herbs will remove the poison. Brew up a drinkable potion as soon as you can." Both Padma and Porch nodded.

Harry healed the rest of the Army and sent them all to the Wing. He summoned Eric to himself.

While Porch and Padma would be brewing up a potion, Eric would be resetting the Green House that looked like a bomb had went off inside it.

where did the army go? harry asked them to go after tom to save alex so why'd they turn?

Harry sent a patronus to Dudley. He himself went inside the Green House tramping onto the scattered glass and wood as he went. Greyback's stunned body lay in the middle of the destroyed GreenHouse. Harry levitated it with himself to the Dungeons. The moment he entered the dungeon he saw Dudley setting up the chair that he had asked for quite clearly in his patronus.

Harry put Greyback in the chair surrounded by metal chains as Dudley stifled a scream.

"Is that a..."

"A werewolf." Harry answered swishing his wand and bewitching the chains to bind themselves on Greyback. Now, he wouldn't be able to break through these no matter how much strength he had.

"How did it get inside?" Dudley asked knowing quite clearly that the Castle had been invaded. His instructions in such a situation were to return o his room as he was the last person who could be in the Castle's defense line. So, he had returned knowing quite clearly, he couldn't help otherwise. He had only answered Harry's patronus knowing that he wouldn't have been called if the danger hadn't passed.

"We'll ask him once he comes around. Don't worry, it won't be until I bring him around." Harry assured a very scared Dudley than walked him out of the dungeon locking it with enchantments that could neither be penetrated nor be removed. "You should know." He turned to Dudley once he was done. "Tom and Alex are in the Hospital Wing. Both are fine." He added as he saw Dudley's expression turn into a worried one. "Come with me, I am going to the Wing myself."

"How did Alex..." Dudley couldn't help it, he had to know what had happened.

"We'll have to ask him that, won't we?" Harry answered rather sternly. Now Duds knew why he was accompanying Harry.

"You want me to talk to him." It was not a question.

Harry stopped and turned to him. He nodded. "You know him better than I do. He would never be completely honest with me, but to you, he might show some openness." Harry knew Alex had been spending a lot of time with all three of Tom, Porch and Duds lately. He would show some honesty to Duds.

"Tom could talk to him." Dudley answered looking at Harry shrewdly knowing quite clearly that if Tom was around Harry wouldn't have asked him to do this. He would not have needed to. "Is he alright?" Harry knew Dudley was talking about Tom not Alex. He had asked Harry with such concern and worry in his eyes, Harry could not lie to him.

"Alex..." Tom opened his eyes and sat up immediately. He nearly fell back but he held onto the curtains around his bed to hold himself steady and tore them off falling right back. He closed his eyes for a moment then jerked his head to clear his vision. As he blinked he realized where he was. He sat right back up again pulling his hair out of his face.

He made to stand up but felt too weak to do so falling right back on the bed as Madam Brown came rushing to him.

"For goodness' sake, dear, keep still!" She scolded him but he didn't care anymore. He just couldn't. He held her arms.

"Alex...Alex..." He meant to ask her of his whereabouts but his voice failed him. His throat ached with thirst and a throbbing pain pierced his chest. He blinked the pain away as he looked over her shoulder at the crowded hospital wing.

Within seconds Hermione and Ron came rushing to him.

"Relax, mate." Ron put a hand on his shoulder forcing him back on the bed as Tom made to get up again.

Tom shook his head, pushed his hand away and stood right up again. As he made to push right past them Hermione grabbed him by the arm and stood right in front of him.

"He's fine, he's safe, you're not! You saved him!"

He shook his head again. They didn't understand what he was feeling. His helplessness at the moment, his aching desire to see Alex himself and his incapacity to do it finally broke him as his eyes welled up with tears and two thick tears fell out of them. "I need to see him..."

Both Ron and Hermione let him go as he nearly tripped his way looking for him in the completely filled Hospital Wing but he didn't care about anyone else just yet. He had to see Alex. As his patience gave in and he felt himself drained of strength about to fall right on the stone floor someone grabbed him just in time. Soft hands held him by his waist. Someone had just put his arm around their shoulder. He turned to see who it was. It was Estella. She held him gracefully.

"He's right here." She smiled pointing at a curtained bed in a corner of the room and took him to Alex herself.

The moment Tom's eyes fell on him he ran forwards not realizing how weak he was and fell to his knees but it didn't matter as Alex had done the same thing when he had seen him. He hugged him solemnly as more tears escaped his eyes. He didn't let go for a long time holding on to the last of his friends. Alex meant more to him than he had ever realised. He had nearly lost him tonight. He had never known he would feel so horrible if anything happened to Alex. Now he knew. He knew he would always protect Alex with his life.

"Are you alright?" Alex asked the moment he pulled away from him. Tom was examining him closely when Alex had asked him.

"Yes..." He answered still examining every inch of him. He had to make sure Greyback hadn't laid a finger on him. He checked his cheek four times.

"Harry healed him." Estella said quietly. She knew what he was looking for.

"Harry... Where's Harry?" Tom asked now worried about him.

"Uncle Harry's fine. Are you alright?" Alex asked him again. He had remembered what a mess he had been in the GreenHouse.

Tom turned back to him and as he did he found Alex staring at him very closely almost examining him.

"What are you doing?" Tom asked.

"I want to make sure if you're really alright." He replied responsibly having examined every inch of his face like Tom had done with him and slowly going down to his torso finally bringing a smile to his face. Tom wiped his face as Alex exclaimed. "There's a scar! It hasn't healed!" He pointed at his ribs below his heart where Riddle's dagger had penetrated him.

"It's nothing..." Tom pulled him back into his embrace. "It's nothing..." He repeated as fresh tears spilled down his face. Alex shouldn't have seen that scar. He had no justifications for it. He realized he had already seen too much to know anymore. He pulled him away wiping his face as quickly as he could. "You listen to me very carefully. Don't you ever get yourself into a situation like that... Do you understand?"

"What did I do?" Alex asked a slight frown covered his face as Tom smiled at his innocence.

"Nothing." He patted his hair back in place, straightened his robes and put him on the bed beside which he had been kneeling. "But you're still spending the rest of the night in the Wing as punishment for being out of your dormitory when you shouldn't have been."

Alex's face turned quite sad as Madam brown rushed to him with a potion and he looked at Tom pleadingly to save him from the potion.

"Even he cannot be saved from it." Estella replied his unasked pleading bringing yet another smile to Tom's face.

As she helped Tom out of the curtains Tom turned to her and before she knew what was happening he had hugged her solemnly. "Thank you." The moment he pulled away from her he thanked her as more tears escaped his eyes. He was holding on to her shoulders leaning on them. He reached out to grab her wrist that she had purposefully bled to save Alex. He kissed it. "I want you to know...before tonight, you owned my heart...from now onwards...you own me..." He held her face in his arms as she grabbed him by the waist to keep him from falling. "I love you... And I will always love you...I had seen your beauty but tonight I have seen the beauty of your heart...You should know...I owe you...for saving my life...for saving Alex..."

"What can you give me?" Estella asked smiling widely.

"Anything..." Tom replied smiling himself.

"Alright then, I want you..." She replied putting her arms around his neck making sure he didn't fall.

"You have me... All of me..." Tom replied as she kissed him and he replied with all his heart. He didn't care he stood in the middle of a full Hospital Wing all of whom had been very excited onlookers.

It was only when a couple of whistles and hoots rang out in the Wing did they break apart.

"Somebody needs a shirt!" Ron threw a laundered shirt at Tom the moment the two of them took a couple of steps away from one another blushing furiously. Tom had literally forgotten where he had been.

Tom caught it and put it over his shoulders. He had only just buttoned up when Harry and Duds entered the Wing.
