Here's the next installment. I wasn't planning to update untill 7th as my exams are going but I got bored of studying so decided to write. Hope you guys like it.
Part 45:
A week has passed since Rey confessed everything to Kriya. Everyone else in the family also got to know the truth. Neither did they forgive him completely nor did they act ignorant towards him. It was becoming more frustrating for Rey 'cause Kriya's silence was unbearable. He had dark bags under his eyes due to lack of sleep. He could care less about his appearance. The main point was Kriya and her unbearable silence. She talked less more like she forgot to converse. Even at house her voice became almost inexistable. She would open her mouth only when she had to ask Preeti, Dhruv or Dadi Bua something. Only Kaira was the one who got to hear her voice properly. No matter what was going on in the house Kriya would never let it effect Kaira. He already lost his wife's smile, the least he expected was to lose the innocent smile of her daughter.
Rey was lying on the bed lost in his thoughts. He had taken an off from tge office. The whole day he stayed upstairs. He even asked the servant to bring his dinner upstairs. The sound of someone knocking at the door brought him out of his trance. He was surprised to see Dadi Bua standing there.
"Kya hum andar aa sakte hai?"
"Aapko permission ki koi zaroorat nahi hai." He replied. She sat beside him and caressed his cheek. Rey laid his head on her lap whilst she stroked his hair. He shared a strong bond with Dadi Bua. She was the one who pampers him the most but she is also the one who scolds him the most for doing something wrong.
"Aap kya chupa rahe hai, Rey?" She questioned startling him. He immediately sat straight.
"M...main ku...kuch bh..bhi toh na..nahi chupa raha." He said looking away from her.
"Aap kis se jhoot bol rahe hai? Aap jaante hai ki hum aapki aankhe dekh kar bata sakte hai ki aap jhoot bol rahe hai." He had no answer for that. She was right. He could lie to anyone except for two women; his mom and Dadi Bua. And now Kriya as well.
"Aap hume nahi batana chahte mat bataiye. Par ek insaan hai jise sach jaan ne ka haq hai aur vo hai Kriya. Vo aapki patni hai Rey. Vo sabse apna dard chupa rahi hai. Par hum bhi ek aurat hai aur hum jaante hai ki vo kitni tooti huyi hai andar se. Uska dil aur mat todo Rey." Saying this she kissed his forehead before proceeding to leave only to be met by Kriya. She gave Kriya a week smile and stroked her hairs before leaving.
The only good thing this whole drama did was changing Dadi Bua's point of view about Kriya. She really started caring for Kriya. Kriya ignored Rey went to the washroom to change into her night gown. Once she was done with everything she proceeded towards the bed. As she was about to get on the bed Rey pulled her towards him such that she ended up sitting on his lap. She furrowed her eyebrows at him.
"Leave me Rey." She said in a composed yet stern tone. Instead of letting her go, his gripped tightened around her as he pulled her into a hug. She tried to get out of his grip but her attempts were in vain maybe becausr she half heartedly tried to struggle. A part of her wanted to snuggle against him.
"Let it all out Kriya." He whispered breaking her determination to stay unaffected. She let out her pain. She sobbed hard against his chest waiting for the tears to stop but they wouldn't. He just held her in his embrace letting her weep. Once she calmed down, he pulled back. Seeing her tear striken face crushed him. He was helpless.
"I'm sorry." He said before capturing her lips. She didn't try to fight back because she wanted it as much as he did. He pushed himself back on the bed still kissing her. They broke the kiss foe few seconds to breathe in as much as much as possible before rekindling their lips. Her hands massaged his hairs whilst he pulled down the straps of her night gown. They again parted due to lack of oxygen. She kissed his eyes and then his cheeks. He loved the feeling whenever her lips made a contact with his skin. Her hands unbuttoned hus shirt as she continued nibbling the spot beneath his earlobe. Once he was out of his shirt, she planted soft kisses everywhere on his chest. Her lips once again met his as they rolled over with him atop her. He continued to undress her as he explored her mouth. He kissed her cheeks trying to remove the essence of the tears. Soon he unbarred both of them from all the clothing, he entered inside her ending all his wait. She moaned his name as he continued entering her. Both of them lay bac exhausted after climaxing at the same time. He held her so close to him and drifted into a deep sleep. He will finally be able to have a peaceful sleep nearly after a week.
"I wish you'd tell me Rey." She thought before snuggling against him.
