He hasn't wronged her. He saw hope of normalcy with her and he GOT that too. But when he got the first glimpse of his past and so called love he forgot her existence. Isn't wrong? How can anybody forgot a person's total existence who gave the peace and normalcy in his life which he could not from years? You are right. He cared for her, his gave her respect but until he got the call. After that she was just his responsibility which nobody does not need to rub it on his face. If she does not even exist for him until some brought her name what kind of respect and care is that? What else he needs to do to hurt her pride than this? Arnav may reborn after this start fall in love after this but the fact is if Lexie still alive he won't do that even after spending his life time with Khushi and got his normalcy in his life.
If he have done whatever he did now before he share the intimacy (not the sex) I would not mind because she is just his responsibility but now they have some bond which he forgot so easily.
