Wow Shweta! sorry I haven't been able to comment regularly due to my AD issues but really your story is outstanding. I feel at times I'm on a roller coaster during your story. The thrill, the terror and fear, the rush, and the excitement , you simply have all the elements! 👏

Finally the truth is revealed about Lexie. It happens to many, they get caught up in the wrong crowd and get swayed, some never able to leave that lifestyle sadly. Arnav certainly caught in a dilemma with Lexie being on her deathbed. While one moves on, it's difficult to turn your back on ex when he or she is on deathbed.

Am totally enthralled with your story and looking forward to what comes next!

such a touching n beautiful update. alexis was truly an angel in disguise- a lost angel in a way. i feel so sad for arnav.. its heartbreaking for him to lose his first love, which was reciprocated in an equal way. they cud have been soulmates only if lexie didnt drift away n held onto him, as arnav never leaves the ones he loves n respects. as i read updates over updates, my respect for arnav's character grows manifold. no one can really hate such a man! he is the true personification of responsibility, faithfulness and honesty. he went over to see lexie, just becoz she deserves his last visit as his first ever love and also becoz of the beautiful memories which he once shared with her n which never left him. and yet he wont ever leave khushi, becoz she's a part of his family n his life now n coz of the promise he gave her. kudos to this man! i really wud want my life partner to give me respect, trust n honesty first. love is something which does not necessarily be present in the first instance. the only thing i didnt approve of arnav is the way he reprimanded khushi b4 leaving for uk.

the highlight of this update was lexie's parting gift to arnav. a glass sculpture of the man itself with his heart n veins in red glass. i was left in awe at the description of the gift. what cud be more meaningful than this wonderful piece of artistry from an equally awesome artist? the white glass of the sculpture signifies arnav's cold n tough exterior while the red of the heart signifies his warm n loving inner self which never betrays his dear ones. this update made me aware of the fact that arnav is a person who is capable of bestowing the truest of love if only he cud let go of his past n embrace his present, his khushi. khushi is a strong woman who never lose hope even in the darkest of despairs! she is the only one who cud heal arnav. shweta u just bowled us over with this update!! cudnt be more grateful to u for giving us this wonderful story.

Interesting the way there is such deep meaning in the words ...

Lexie, the angel flies home.

Arnav...This man is all heart. I think his heart has been with Lexie and in the past but now I am hoping that he regains the heart and soul that has been missing from him.

The song at end dedicated to 'soldier' Khushi - will she be able to resurrect him? Make him whole again?

As we took the journey into the past, I have to admit I have missed the energy that was Arnav and Khushi and am really looking forward to his return.

I also would like to mention one more point, that even though Arnav told Khushi that he can never give her love , I don't think he truly believes it in his heart.

I think he felt that way more from responsibility & guilt for his past life. By saying and believing that he cannot give her love he wanted to convince himself that he was doing the right thing for Lexie and in his own justified way right thing for Khushi too. He thought he could give her everything except for love.

Even though he is deeply attracted to her and feels all the emotions of Jealousy, possessiveness ,and protectiveness for her in the presence of NK or Shyam, he does not want to ponder over it or acknowledge it. Did he feel the same way when he thought he was in love with Lexie? No.

Will he be able to allow Khushi to even think on the lines of living a free life in a good way not tied to him. I think he is just scared of the emotion called LOVE with whatever he has gone through.

Khushi has a lot on her plate as she will now have to love, support, understand and bring him to acknowledge the feelings he has towards her while managing her heartbreak, pain and tears walking on a thin line without losing her respect, dignity and pride.

I really want to see him turning heaven and earth to get her to pay attention to him let alone love him. Then he will realize the difference between the feelings he had for Lexie and what he feels for Khushi now. In a way Khushi should make him atone for what he did to her 😉.

Just my thoughts . To console and give myself some peace.The update has been on my mind the whole day and I am unable to do anything in office or at home.

Once again thank you Shweta for this awesome & amazing story. It provokes and brings out all these emotions from us. We just can't help it! Sorry for long post.
