I still dont have heart to complete chap 36 and now chap 37. I have read recent comments. I will wait till there is some happiness for Khushi and protect my weak heart till then.
I would slightly disagree that Arnav has not wronged Khushi. No he didn't commit her anything or any love. But he respected her and she was his true companion.(Apart from being his legally wedded wife) They shared physical intimacy and he unknowingly bared his soul during those moments of closeness. So Khushi may be wrong to expect him to love her back which she explicitly never demanded. She was just hoping in heart that he would reciprocate.
But the way Arnav left was so not done. Hurting Khushi in his panic or anger and leaving without any explanation why he was leaving. SO what does one make of it? All the moments spent together were false?
And thats why I agree with other comments. Khushi might be easy in accepting him back but I want Arnav to earn it, to realize how hurting his parting shot was!

What can I say after such a stupendous update and wonderful comments? Arnav and Lexie were truly star crossed lovers. She was really a beautiful person who made her own choices and lived her life to the most though not generally accepted. Arnav loved her to the fullest extent and I can understand why he can't give that love to Khushi. He loved her and then all has become 'a responsibility' for him. Lexie's death might be a closure for ASR but there will also be the guilt and that may distance him from those around him again. I hope Khushi with her strength and immense love gives him reason enough to take another chance at love and not treat her as some responsibility.

I am not really good at expressing myself but right now I feel like saying that if the situations were reversed and Khushi had been the one who abandoned her loving husband without a backward glance to go and meet her ex lover on his death bed everyone would have berated her and noone would have justified her actions.

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL UPDATE...

So Lexie was Arnav's first love. I take a bit of comfort in the fact that somewhere along the way, Lexie became more of a responsibility to Arnav. But I don't think he's realized that yet. He loved the Lexie who he met the first day, and kept on trying to find that Lexie but failed. And that failure is what eats him up and won't let him let go of her.

Shwetha , I don't know what to say about this update.earlier in your note you said we might hate Arnav for whatever he did in his past...I just can't turn my back on him even though he broke my khushi's heartt. Your characterization is such that you cannot hate any person in this story barring Arnav's mother.The only thing or the fear of losing Lexie ,if he forced upon her ..is what bothers him and would so in future too...
