Chapter 1

She ran for her dear life, No! She cannot look back now. There was no way left, she have to do this, for her own self.

The sky was dark with air around her filled with smoke and soot. She took a deep breath as she looked back to find an empty road. The men are gone, they won't come back. She mentally calmed herself. No need to run now, there is no danger. She placed her palm near her heart, breathing deeper, resting her forehead against the red bricks of a commercial building. Gladly she found this small parking space near the jelly store.

No, the goons will not follow you here Kria. Relax...They won't...You are safe...No...No...No.

She shut her eyes tighter hearing her own voice echo, piercing her eardrums, making it difficult to inhale. And finally she gave up, falling on her knees in despair.

ENOUGH!' She screamed, opening her mouth to fill her lungs with deprived oxygen, running her hands in her messy hairs. She was tired of this running, crying, feeling assaulted every time. Her pains and sorrows, she carried them along everywhere in her heart but now the burden of them was suffocating her beyond the limits. She wanted to be free, from all the pains, from all the memories, from her life. She wanted to end it, but she lacked the strength.

She stiffened as she heard sounds of cold leather shoes hitting the wet floor slabs. She quickly grabbed her bag, clutched it closer and hid herself behind one of the cars.

"Are you sure you saw her coming here?" A man asked.

"Y-e-s" Another man stammered with fear.

"Find her" The man commanded a group of goons. "And you... If she is not here...then you are gone" He threatened the man, who was sitting, begging for his life on his knees.

"Find that bitch" He commanded. "NOW" He added, loading his gun as he made his way out to call his boss, Shivam, Kria's step brother.

She clutched her bag tightly, wishing if earth could gobble her down making life easy for her.

Just 10 more minutes...Then you'll be free. She tried to calm herself, but opposite was happening. Her heart was beating loud, as if it will explode within seconds. She moved a bit and realized that the back door of the car was not locked. And for the first time she felt that the God existed somewhere. She silently got up and opened the door of the car and slipped inside, crushing herself in small foot space, waiting for the goons to give up and go. And soon there was silence all over, she heard few disappointed grumbles from the Man's mouth, followed by several curses which he gave to his gang who failed in finding her. And then a prolonged silence. She meekly peeked out from the window of car and saw the empty parking lot.

It was better to stay inside till Morning, if she tried going out, they would catch her and so she decided to stay like that. Also she was tired. And with final blow, she gave up, cuddling her bag, drifting into a deep slumber. And the last thing she felt was, vibrations of the running engine of the car...

Hello, So Snigs forced me to post this here Or else I would have kept it hanging. Since my vacations are going on, also NO KriYaansh these days in D3, So to keep myself away from depression, finally I chose to do something good 😛 And most probably gonna complete the left ones also.

I honestly have no high hopes with this Drabble as its going to be Dark and Angsty. But yes, Gonna update it on daily bases.
