Third - while this may sound childish, some of us are more likely to do things that we are asked not to do .. especially when commanded.. and here while Khushi's behavior tat-amounts to being childish, it is still plausible to me...

I liked your post.. it made me question and revisit the chapter.. so I post my response.. This is in no way challenging your opinion.. just sharing mine.. :)

Curiosity is good in a researcher but at the same time a shark researcher does not jump into a tank full of sharks without adequate preparation and protection. Here Khushi is NOT the expert in the forest, Arnav is. If he asked her to stay where she was, she should have.
