The girls finished their presentation with little tidbits about the incidents that happened in their group. They related the incidents to how and why care should be taken when working with instruments and machines. After re introducing the whole group and their contribution they concluded a great presentation. Mr Mittal stood up to say a few words, but Renuka Sanyal interrupted and told the group that that was the best presentation she has seen in a very long time. Mr Mittal was going to initially complain about a few unnecessary but after seeing the main person appreciate the group. He too forcefully cracked a smile and applauded them. The whole panel appreciated their efforts were extremely happy to be placing their money with such a competent group.
Everyone left. The girls were heading back to their hostels to finally get some proper sleep without interruption for the next two days when the boys caught up to them. Jignesh was talking to Kaustuki saying how he didn't except this from them and four people were completely zoned out of that conversation and were faintly hearing words like baby, good, party and proud. Sanyukta was trying give Randhir that look, you know that look when you know you're good and you wanna flaunt it. Though Randhir pretended to ignore, he couldn't escape the fact that she was looking so adorable. Manasvi was just looking at the floor, she just wanted to get out Parth's sight and get some sleep. Parth on the other hand was just trying to catch her eye so he can apologize of being so rude and shouting at her.
After Jignesh's very long conversation the girls headed back to the hostel. Thought she was in very great need for a good nights sleep. Manasvi couldn't sleep, she grabbed a shawl and decided to go for a little walk. She saw Parth in the gym practicing TaiChi she quickly turned around to go back. But she want quick enough. Parth had two take two long strides to catch up to her. Damn his long legs she thought. With crossed arms and what she hoped was a serious face she finally looked him in the eye and said What? He said I'm sorry. She told himself she wasn't interested. He told that he means it from the bottom of his heart and that he shouldn't have shouted at her. She was frustrated now, she almost yelled at him but realised this was midnight but in a very loud whisper she said, you still don't understand do you? I'm not upset because you shouted at me, that's fine I could've dealt with the scolding but the fact that you didn't trust me to do my job or the fact that you thought I was pretending to be tired to get away from doing work hurt me the most. I was paired with you for the whole assignment. You saw how much work I was doing, our pair work and a little bit of Sanyu's because the poor thing got hurt.
But I guess it's my fault to think I was your friend, someone you would support and understand, but apparently not. So actually I am sorry! Goodnight! She left for her room. Parth just stood there and realised how much he had hurt her. He made up his mind, doesn't matter how long it took he would make it up to her. He would make sure that the same bright and happy girl who used to laugh and joke around with him at Yoyo's most silliest jokes, who brightened up everyone's day by just saying hi. He would bring that smile back.
The next day, all the boys had one serious mission. To deeply apologise to the girls and hopefully get them to go to the party that the sponsors arranged for the success of their presentation, which the girls were currently against going. That morning Kaustuki was the first one to wake up, she couldn't sleep because of Jiggy's constant messages. She saw Sanyukta slowly waking up, after wishing ever a good morning she went to take a shower. Sanyu saw Manasvi sleeping and decided let her sleep in until she came back. Manasvi was still sleeping. Sanyu was just about to wake up when she saw Parth and Jiggy at the door. Kaustuki saw Jiggy and went out to have a serious conversation. Sanyu seriously at Parth and asked him why he was there? He said that he needed to apologise to Manasvi. He pleaded with Sanyu to give him a chance, she felt for her friend and asked him to come in, she was waking up Manasvi, Manu! Manu!! Wake up! She shook her friend. Manasvi slightly stretched in bed but didn't open her eyes. Arre sone do na Sanyu? Saturday hi toh hain? She said in a sleepy voice.
Actually Manasvi woh Parth, before Sanyu could finish her sentence. Manasvi in her sleepy slumber said, Uss donkey ka naam mat lo mere saamne, a very wide eyed Sanyu was trying to get her friend to wake up so she realises that the "donkey" was right there in the same room but Manasvi took no heed. She continued on her rant, Uss Parth ke bacche ko toh main chodhungi nahin, kitna rude tha na? Ab dekhna main usse baat bhi nahin Karoongi, usse bhi to pata chale! Bada abaya sorry Boone wala. Aur she Sanyu tum bhi na, Uss idiot ka naam leke need karab kar di! With that she woke up. Sorry she heard a very slow voice say. She thought it was Sanyu and said arey yaar it's ok.but she realised that it was a slow man's voice and turned her head so quickly that it could've snapped. Not minding that sudden pain she look at Parth who was was staring at her with this expression. Sanyu was just standing there trying to stop herself from laughing. Tum, tum! Kya kar rahe ho Hahn pe? Yeh girls hostel hain, Maine kaha tha na ki main times baat nahin Karoongi? Bas! Chalo ab! With that Parth left. She turned to her best friend who was nearly crying with tears of laughter. Oh Manasvi that was soo funny. Tumhe usse donkey bola? With that she laughed a bit more.
Manasvi gathered her things and went to get ready. 20 minutes later they all went down to get breakfast together. Manasvi saw Randhir trying to catch Sanyu's eye. She decided it was the perfect time together revenge for the morning's incident. In a voice that she knew Randhir could hear, Sanyu did you know you can take a date for this party? Vaise, uska naam kya hain? Voh IT wala ladka? Sameer? . Haan Haan Sameer hi toh hai Sanyu replied. Usne pucha kya tumhe? Date ke like? Randhir spat out the tea he was drinking on to the oncoming person who happened to be YOyo, Arre paaji, chai acchi nahin bani toh, Dusra manga lete, mere upas thukne ki kya zaroorat thi? Abhi abhi nahake aaya tha, apni Kaustuki ke liye, ab phir se nahana padega! Randhir wasn't even paying attention.
He quickly dashed towards where the said conversation was happening and asking Sanyukta was planning for the party. He quickly said that they should go together. Sanyu had this weird feeling in her stomach. Was he asking her out? She apparently said that question out aloud, but Randhir covered up saying that it will look good of they all went together in the pairs that they worked in. At this Parth got excited and Manasvi felt her plan backfiring slightly on her. Sanyu couldn't see a reason to say no and she felt that she had something to prove to Randhir, that she was not only the brains but also the beauty! She said ok. Randhir couldn't believe his ears and maintained poker face and nodded his head. Sanyu left to get some tea and Manasvi whispered to Randhir, you owe me big time, I think 5 boxes of chocolate should do! Randhir realised that Manasvi did this on purpose, he couldn't help but smile. He quickly said make that six!
Manasvi was completely ecstatic and was about to go get some tea herself when she found herself offered some tea, she looked up to see the source and saw Parth! Well done he said, I saw what you did. It's high time they got together. She smiled and nodded in agreement but quickly recovered and said. I'm still no talking to you! Manasvi but it's going to be a boring night if you don't want to talk to your date! Date? Manasvi asked! Haan tumhara plan hi toh hain! She mentally slapped herself and said this isn't changing anything. I'm still angry with you and she walked off to Sanyu. We will see and both Randhir and Parth looked at each other and gave a thumbs up. Tonight was going to change a lot of things.
