Just when you thought they were patching up, they fought again.
Arnav is completely in denial over the matter that he loves Khushi, that too deeply. I knew he would be skeptic of her love. He doesn't really believe her but likes it that she said it nonetheless. He is a hypocrite too. He himself goes without telling her and she cannot even make plans without asking him?
And yet I still feel for him. I wonder what blunder he makes next. I guess Khushi is going to Mumbai no matter what he says. She cannot refuse when she has discussed it with the elders. I hope in time Khushi catches all the lies he keeps telling her.
He gets disturbed enough to break things if they are having a discord. Wants her to call him every time. Argues childishly and endlessly to make her stay even if she is going away for a meager month. Gets paranoid at the mention of taking a break. For a non-believer, happily and almost possessively, basks in her professed love for him in every other sentence. Jumps to crush her into a hug at the first given opportunity. To say that she was bewildered, would be an understatement. Because ladies and gentlemen, that was him NOT loving her.
How would it be when LOVES her?😆
Khushi had almost reached her breaking point when she realised he might never love her. She felt a little better when he confessed that he doesn't believe in love but when will this 'smart' girl realise that her dear husband is lying to her? When will she realise that he already is in love with her and hence his contradictory behaviour? Although I loved it that she took a stand. She tried tender loving care, maybe now its time for some tough love. I'm glad she called him out on running away after she confessed to being in love with him.
Also she is missing the major bits and pieces of Arnav's dreaded past, i.e. how he got diabetes, about his drug and alcohol problems and about his father's abandonment. When looked at just from the angle of his mother's betrayal where she has just half the story (the hurt but not the consequences) it seems like it is a thing he should have coped well with. But add it all together and I wouldn't have been surprised if Arnav had ended up in a mental asylum. How much of a shock he must've sustained to find himself completely alone? He isn't used to having anyone with him because he has always been alone and now when someone wants to hold his hand and walk together he is scared. I think it is only natural. But it doesn't stop me from getting irritated with his behaviour.😛
I am a little confused - Does Arnav's "anything for Khushi" mean anything as in 'anything she desires' or 'anything to keep her close to him'? If it means the latter then he cannot truly love her unless he means at least a little of the former. I think so.
Finally, Sumer talks of having grandchildren and witnessing their wedding next. WOW.😉
Overall the update was amazing the way you showed the discord between them. I guess the separation comes next, in other words the 'break'. Eagerly waiting for the next installment. Thanks for the PM.
