Chasing Dreams- THD 8- CHP 43, PG1- End of Book1-Thanks You note- PG35 - Page 22

I am actually pleased to read how it ended...you've stayed true to the characters created...both have flaws and at times at both lacked maturity and yes it was sad to see the end, but perhaps it was for the best. Though it seems lot of fault fell on Arnav. I am not sure Khushi herself was mentally ready or mature to be in tht commitment and responsibility. Yet sadly that is something that's not looked but expected and assumed. What I find worse is the end she has. What she is taking away from all this...the bitterness the lack of faith confidence etc...look forward to the next phase and dare I say their own happy ending

I really did not like the end of book 1 , coz i like happy ending ... But life is not a fairy tale ... poor khushi my heart goes out for her , she received only pain , hurt , humiliation in return of her love... Arnav deserves loneliness for abandoning khushi just like that ...

Shocked!!!!

This is a tough theme to write about and you're doing a marvelous job with it. Its easy to point fingers at one character but in Chasing Dreams everyone is to blame for the situation to some extent. As you rightly pointed out Khushi wants to please everyone and that is a sure way of losing out on happiness (for her). As they say, you cannot please everyone all the time and she has to watch out for herself. This whole issue about pro-choice/pro-life continues to draw flak and with societal pressures it becomes harder for the woman.
This story is generating a lot of interesting comments and that itself is yet another feather in your cap!

I am not sure about others but honestly I liked the way you ended it. I agree that one should not be forcefully thrown into a relationship . Arnav sticker to what he wanted from the start and kushi new it very well when she entered his life.

Perfect ending...life is always not a bed of roses...it was maybe better this way...I am sad for kushi...but maybe she was saved from a miserable life and Arnav inspite of losing his love is also saved from the same fate...

Congrats for your End of Book I. Looking forward to Book 2.
