I agree this might be a logical conclusion to Book 1 and thank you for keeping this story real.
The individuals that Arnav and Khushi are right now they would have never understood the meaning to working on a relationship. Khushi was ready to let go of everything that she believed in for Arnav and Arnav was not ready to let go of anything.. it does not work that way, does it?
I agree with Meera when she says love needs lots of work.
I hope in your book 2 we see more mature lead pair, who make their decisions for the right reasons and who have the independence to accept and live with their decisions.

Oh my god!!!!!end of book one??? This means arnav seriously didn't return to her...this is so sad ..I know we all want a happy ending which this one was not. ..but I know that the story demanded this...the ending of book 1 really makes this story a different one...and I loved every bit of it. ...

Just what I thought...
Arnav is not capable of commitment.Period.
And Khushi saw it coming but still decided to give him a chance. And he proved once again he's not worth it.
I haven't come across such people in my life, but am sure such people do exist. So does girls like Khushi..
I'm not sure whether ten years would make him any wiser, but looking forward to it.
And I want Khushi to be happy with someone who truly love and respect her for what she's and is not a commitment-phobic. To hell with Arnav and his eternal bachelorhood.
Looking forward to read book 2.

P.S: And yes, I'm 18+ 😉

well, first of all, i appreciate u for boldly putting ur thoughts and making the story without changing it a bit just because readers are unhappy. the end was expected atleast by me. when anyone of the partner is not sure about the commitment then it is useless. but what happened with kushi is truly not her fault. arnav was at fault this time and kushi's only fault was trusting him again. even after he left her , she lived. but now after avinash's betrayal, i hope she does not become mad. but the chances are less. her parents are solely responsible for her present condition. atleast now they should not think only about their name . did they even think what kushi wanted? agreed, they are our parents and they think good for us. but they have completely destroyed their daughter's life with their own hands. they are to be blamed partially.
i am eagerly waiting for book 2 and hope to get link from u.

I thought something like this would happen i.e. Arnav would not go through with the wedding. And guess what it always falls on the girl to take all the back lash. I hope her parents support her and she comes out of this not to embittered with life in general. No matter what is said that she went into this relationship with her eyes open, she honestly did not deserve this - first Arnav cancelling and then Karan. Also, parent's interference sometimes can be double-edged sword. I wonder if it is not Khushi who will now be commitment phobic!!
So - looking forward to Book 2 . Do keep us posted how to get access this. I do follow on twitter too.

A New Reader:

I started reading this story in mid February, but it's the first time I'm commenting. The story is awesome, and I appreciate the way you've portrayed such different, complicated characters, especially Arnav, and people who have different view to life and relationship, very well. You've done justice to the story. Surprisingly, this end satisfies me.

Khushi a simple girl with traditional beliefs came to city of complicated life and diffrent beliefs, but she has gradually adapted to such life and accepted changes, making the sacrifices all the way. For Arnav, she has let go of so many things, of what she were. She accepted him they way he was with the possible, helpful conviction that maybe one day he would come around and offer her a position and status in the society she would like to have. But even when he did, he was not sure, and he had the aucidity to call off the wedding making her suffer all the more and face the taunts of people all alone. He was so selfish and coward to let some ungrounded fears overcome the love they share. How deep that fear is to beat such beautiful loe and relationship. Could not he just take a so-called risk and agree to marriage then they together can manage their lifes instead of not to give a chance to marial life which can be such a bliss. Maybe Arnav does not believe in them as he should. What has he given Khushi in return of what she offered willingly? He is so harsh on her. I don't blame Avinaash for leaving khushi when the man who still loves left her. Which brings me to a question, I know that love alone is not complete and not the only thing needed in the relationships world, but is not the bond they share strong enough?

Dammit, Arnav! he DESERVES ALL the pain, agony and guilt he feel. Was not he the one to bring them to him and her? How could he make decisions for both of them and ignore her as if she does not have any value in their relationship?

Garima and Shashi can't be blamed for anything they've done along the way. hey are parents of a one girl who went against them in a society that wants answers and don't have mercy on people.

Payal who accepted a live-in relationship with Arnav, she did that knowing that it would blossom, and she made a risk worth it. because she put thoughts to her stps more than Khushi. She asks to get things in returns before agreeing to things, that's why she went with the flow which was still in her control somehow.

I don't want answers for these questions from you.

All in all, I liked this story. You've written it beautifully N_B 👏

PS: I would like to read 'Chasing Love' and have the blog's link.

**New Reader **

Dear Writer,

I found the link to this story today and was foolish enough to read chapter 43 first, instantaneously my curiosity lead me to the prologue giving me a fair idea of what to expect from the story.
I will be back soon with more...

PS: I am fascinated with the title 'chasing dreams', and the combination of the last chapter, introduction and the caption reveals so much...'reality bites' indeed.
