I am a new reader.. Got into reading arshi stories to ease my real life tensions.. Chasing dreams was one of the first stories I picked to read. I love your writing. You have a talent.
Unfortunately your story has ended in such a way and at a point of time when I needed loads of happiness and reassurance in my life. It pulled me into a hassled state of mind. It's not your fault at all but my timing to read your story was not right.
I have read parinay too. In both stories I have not liked arnav. In this story too I find him too selfish not willing to compromise anything in his life. But expects others to do it for him. I would have been happy if khushi would got married to someone. But you have broken her down more and left her lifeless. In the mean time arnav is hiking!!! If it happens in real life then that means, the guy was never in love.

Nevertheless, it's a pleasure to see such good writers in IF. I am sure you know what you r writing and good luck with it too.
If you think book 2 is ok for a faint heart like mine to read, kindly send me the link. I am 36 years old.

Good night.

Ps: I wish I could read a lighter happier story written by you. 😛

That came at am abrupt. Though I was prepared for a such end but didn't know it's the end in a chapter. Anyways, agree to your note. I have known someone similar in my life but sadly after being forced to be married, it ended up bad after few years. Now, both are indeed happy in their own lives. I guess it's very individual and they should never be imposed on what the society typically is.

Though I don't expect khushi to be married but I expected she would bounce stronger. Somehow, that didn't happen at the end of yours. She was helpless and broken but I don't know if it's her fault of accepting arnav being too accommodating or it's the consequences giving in too much to her parents. Somehow, her unability to put her foot down has influenced to all these and perhaps at a certain, she could be blamed as well. Maybe that's why love is blind, when you gives too much unexpecting, you end being hurt the most.

I'm not sure if you'll share the blog list as I'm not in your PM list but I would love to read more. Just wondering when book 2 starts, how old would they be?

Very well thought and absolute execution.. Keep writing!!!

It was an amazing the way you have written the story. The ending is still quite traumatising for me to digest - the chapter 42 in some ways even more painful the miscarriage . But waiting for the next book - & hoping somehow inspite of all Arnav's misdeeds Arnav & Khushi get married & are together .
Thank you for this amazing story .

After having caught up with the story, I was extremly susprised by the manner in which arnav and khushi behvaed...where i could understand and sympthaize with khuhshi's love for arnav pushing her to give him a second chance, to give up her own intentions for marriage, and sacrificing so much, in the later updates i felt as if she was completlty loosing her own sense of identity: she was either doing something to please arnav or her parents and her own needs and idnetiy got lost somewhere within.

Arnav on the other hand was equaally complex; from the beginning i had my doubts on how or if he would be able to hold onto khuhsi especaully after the first time they decided to call things off since he didnt want marriage; the manner in which he spoke to anjali and said that they had a good thing but it wouldnt work, the nonchalance gave me warning signs taht in the future he might repeat that and he did unfortunelty...where he keeps sayign he loves khushi, i think he is misunderstanding himself...love isnt about what you can do to make yourself happy and comfortabel, its about making the person your with happy knowing that they will do the same for you; and quiet frankly, his lack of enthusiam with the weddding was so off putting...but so was khushis constant "my parents want this"..."Im the only child..."
Even at the end, she chooses to get married with someone else no doubt under her parents influence jsut to make them happy instead of thiknking of if she will be able to handle all of that after her relationship with arnav.

Okay enough of my blabber! Aha will see you on the blog :)

you are one of the very few authors on IF who let us pause and think like adults. Not everything is a bed of roses and thank you for bringing that to the forefront in your story. Cannot wait to read the next chapter of their lives.
