that was a very well written story.

In mere two chapters u have not only conveyed an amazing story, where the past and present are merged but also put us through an intense, detailed roller coaster of emotions, so that we can understand and empathize with the characters.

No doubt ur a brilliant writer.

WOW.. This was a very good read. I am glad I stumbled upon it :)

For a two shot, the way you wrote this story is very fulfilling. I did find the end abrupt at first, but then after a minute or two of reading the last part again, I realized it was best to leave it where you left it. Not only it gives the story credibility, the open ending also gives ample scope for reader's imagination to soar. Those who love tragedies can think in that direction and happy ending fans like myself can dream of Arnav coming back to his Khushi, his home.

The plot was awesome. And the way you set the ambiance, since your Darjeeling days (Brewing Up) actually, is totally praiseworthy. Arnav drinking binge, the way Khushi house was broken into, her stay over in his house, her attempt with the revolver and everything else, the setup looks like it had been erected in front of me to watch. There is not a single confusion. That way I am way more invested in characters mind and heart instead of making my brain work over time about ki kahan hain aakhir yeh log.

Anu,

You always leave me speechless with your writing and stories. I read part 2 few days ago and read it again now and the emotions I felt were same as the first time, including, Khushi pulling the trigger of the gun.

This was such a power packed Two Short and ONLY YOU can do this. Every word you wrote was lending itself to the characters and their emotions. In two updates you spanned their past, present and future.

I loved the rawness of this story. This wasn't about fairy tales, happily ever after, boy meets girl and they fall in love or perfect people, this was about life as it comes.

In just one night they lived their life, they let go of their fears and insecurities and embraced love. This one night, these precious moments they spent in each other's arms, forgetting about the cruelty of situation has paved a way to a new hope. Hope for Arnav to come back to his only solace in life and hope for Khushi to relive the night again.

The best thing about your stories in the way you end your stories. They are so promising and hopeful.

This was AWESOME, Anu.

Totally agree. All your stories convey a deep understanding of human nature, it's frailties as well as strengths, that is way beyond your years. Kudos to you for choosing substance over fluff..:)

Again, I couldn't agree more. Your stories have heart which in this day and age is underrated in general but especially in literature.

This was the most detailed lovemaking you've written so far and they way you described it suited these particular characters and the circumstance they were under to the T. You did full justice to it.

I loved the ending too...A neatly bow tied end would have ended up looking incongruous in this particular genre ...so you made a very smart decision in leaving it open ended.
