my heart is pounding and racing like mad. Will Khushi let him leave her somewhere safe and not bother if he is killed? I don't think so.

Will U believe me If I say that I came to IPK forum after 3 or 4 days just in hope of finding Ur new OS...?? Honestly In starting I didnt want to read it as it seem An angsty one but I trusted ur writing and read till the end...Now I am restless for next part... My heart went out to 15 year old who beat up his father...such trauma at young age... This explains his indifferent attitude to lif... Shashi is a kind man with loving heart but had a tragic ending... Khushi...Her only hope for life now is Arnav...No mater what,,inspite of his harsh words and carless attitude she is going to be with him becoz he the only one she has now... This whole scene gave me sinking feeling...where is he going to leave her...will she let him leave somewhere at a safe place..Or she is going to cling to him like her life depends on it... P.S I am a stalker of scrapbooks too..I hate it when some1 has given acces to scrapbook to ppl on frnd list only...Do U too..?? P.P.S Dont tell this secret to any1 okay...:p

Beautiful as always, Anupama. And congratulations on completing one year as a writer. I loved Brewed. It was such a different take on their story. And I have loved all your OSes since then. keep writing!

This is the first thing I've read by you, and I was extremely intrigued and hooked from the start. The hurt, the pain, and the uneasy caring was fabulously described- I could feel it. Wonderful!

Well, if this has you hooked, then MUST read the rest of her beautiful stories. Just know that they will live in your heart, not in any dramatic or earth shattering, way, but in a gentle way, giving an extra dimension to your perspectives on life, people, relationships.

She is also of the most self-deprecating writers I have met on this forum. But then that is what makes her so, so special.

Your sensibility over the harsh realities of life is much beyond your age.
The entire update was reeking with emotions ranging from despair , hope , ecstasy and longing.

Khushi wanted to latch on to Arnav and as she rightly said it was like an obsession , her desperate need to hold on to him was unbearably endearing.
Arnav on the other hand was trying to keep her safe from what he saw as an imminent threat to her future.
Their night together was not something i hold against any of them ...at that moment it was inevitable and certainly not in their control to hold back and honestly i saw no reason to do the same.It was the need of the hour !
Of course not that i am over the moon that he left , however keeping the story as close to reality as this was , nothing less was expected.
You left the story at an open ending and its a risk you took , so leaving it to me , i would like to believe that somewhere sometime they managed to connect.

I totally agree with Disha here...For a young person who has lead a sheltered life, you are one worldly wise gal. Seriously!

Not only do you notice the less privileged lot but also try to understand their sufferings and shortcomings. It takes a person with heart to write stories with heart. Hats off Anu.

You showed us an Arnav who was under privileged, ill treated, and suffered. But he fought back to make something of his life. Human life is all about hope. And that is what kept him going despite all the problems he had had to face. He is hard, very hard yet he couldn't resist Khushi coz such was the strength of her love.

My God, the way she pulled the trigger, I was holding my breath to see if she would. And she did and he understood how much he meant to her.

The love making scene was heart rending and sensual.

But to me what stole my heart was the open ending.

This is no fairy tale...Arnav is no prince and Khushi is no damsel in distress. He needs to stay alive and she knows how to survive. Here's wishing that they would in fact meet each other soon coz I see Arnav missing her and I see him trying to find her. And Aman is his friend who know that she was going to continue living in the city.

Cheers

why arnav why did you do this
to her to yourself
and after what happened he still left
did he really think she would cope without him
then he must be even more silly than i thought
i get why he did what he did
but this is ridiculous
she would have killed herself
but of course he didnt put the bullets in
and yet he chose to leave her
to protect her
do you think she wants to be protected you silly dude
