Last I remember, IF was a liberal place, so what changed now?

I too totally agree with you in this... I'm also afraid that we will lose wonderful writers and friends due to this... I'm even having second thoughts on posting my OS/SS/FF's here due to this...I really hope they will take this int consideration and do something positive about it. Lets hope for the best.

tht ways we dont bother the writer abt every little thg... plus we build a family on IF...

with the new rules.. i dont feel free to discuss even abt the story... who knws tht wud be considered spamming soon...

this is a much hyped topic and i seriously believe that spamming rules should be changed.
These rule are human made and not some law of nature, that DT cannot change them. IF is for the members here and if so many of us are having problem with the rules set by them, i don't see, why can they not change them.
And an "update soon" and other motivational comments we request/demand from our writers are because we are eager for their stories and not because they demand that form us.
These in fact motivates the writer out there who take time out of their busy schedule to update their stories knowing that their readers are waiting for them to do so.

If a little change in the rule set by DT can do so many of the members here a favour and ot piss them off instead of make them leave IF, then i don't understand why not???

its a virtual world here, i really don't understand the motive of the said member(s) who did report the concerned writer's thread as being "spammed". If its so much pain for hat concerned member, then LEAVE THE WRITER ALONE and don't bother with it. why be so much concerned with the comments which you don't feel comfortable with and bother sooo many readers and the concerned writer out there??

Seriously, this has got on my nerves when an "update soon" is being included in spammed list. Even a "res", now this is unacceptable.

I strongly agree...it's not fair for reader as well as the writers...we do wish to have freedom to ask for updates

Agree with each word of you...hopefully this issue should be solved at the earliest... thanks for giving exact meaning of spamming...I'm so happy to see all the writers and fellow readers stand united at this issue

i agree with ur post, the writers put a lot of love and effort in their work and keep the forum active, we should be allowed to show our appreciation for them.

IF is a big pool of communication
where their are writer with different categorie and if all the beautiful wirter would be moved out then even i would be out of this forum
only thing i am coming hier is to read something beautiful
and if all the writers are gone makr their restricted blog ya then i cant go and check my mail and evertime start reading i cant
this form give us possiblity to chose our own liking story

Just read your thread and dreaded that its not one of my favorite authors and what is the reality, it is her. I would miss her updates going from IF.
