Precap: Zoyas Mehndi function. Asad avoids zoya and zoya feels bad. She confronts him by then she and Asad was dragged to the hall for finding the name in the mehndi. Zoya says she has got everything now and doesn't want anything more. Asad again misunderstands her words that she has got Ayan and now she is not interested in anything else. Asad and Zoya meet on the terrace. Zoya tries to be a little romantic but Asad gets angry and tells that she is double timing him and Ayan. Zoya becomes furious at his comments and replies back Asad. Asad gets super angry and leaves the house to his office. At office, he finds Zoyas letter and cheque and breaks down on reading it that Zoya had loved him and waited for his proposal all these times. He returns home to find that Zoya is missing. He regrets his behaviour towards her and tells the whole family about the misunderstanding. Dilshad slaps Asad. And also tells that she is very much in good health and she did all this drama to help him only and he screwed up big time and now let her down also by blaming Zoya with his unwarranted words. Asad completely breaks down.

PART 25

Asads residence, Next day morning

Zoya was so happy that Asad really wanted to marry her. She thought she will confess her feelings to him today that she too loves him. Zoya knew that Asad had not read the letter which she gave and hence thought to tell him directly her feelings for him tonight. She was getting ready for the mehndi function. Zeenat and Anwar had brought her a yellow designer lehenga with some embroidery works and bottle green shades mix. Zoya as usual left her hair flowing but took it and pinned on with her mangteeka accessory. She was looking gorgeous but simple. All that she wanted was Asad to compliment her once. Zeenat after making Zoya ready went out to see the other arrangements. Zoya got up and thought she will go to Asads room now and ask him how is she looking. And she went to his door, but this time she knocked. Asad was standing near the couch thinking about what to do next, how to tell his ammi about all these developments. He said "Ji". Zoya opened the door and stood still at the entrance looking at Asad. She was simply beautiful and Asad couldn't take his eyes off her but soon realised that she is no more his. He looked away from her and continued staring outside his window. Zoya came in and asked "Aap kuch bolenge nahi Mr. Khan ki maise kaise lag rahi hoon?" Asad replied " yeh baat aap ko mujse nahi kissi aur se poochni chahiye" Zoya "Kissi aur se, kiss se Mr. Khan? Asad "Oh aap khud yeh baat sabse kehna nai chahti, you are waiting for him to tell okay. Fine" Zoya "aaap yeh kiski baat kar rahe hain, main kuch samji nahi" Asad "aap bahar jayiye abhi issi waqt mere kamre se, muje kuch kaam hai, and I don't want to be disturbed, vaise yeh sab ladies function hai, toh door hi rehna chahta hoon." Zoya wasn't understanding a bit of what Asad told her except the last part. She thought being a ladies function he wanted to keep away so he made work an excuse. She said "Okay Mr. Khan, jaise app chahe" She went out closing the door rolling her eyes."

Zeenat was calling on Zoya and she spotted her coming from Asads room. Zeenat teased her " Offo Zoya tum itna bhi intezaar nahi kar sakthi ho, mehndi shuru hone se pehle hi, Asad ko secretly help karna chahti ho apna naam doodne mein." Zoya "api abhi na chaliye." Zoya was seated amidst some old ladies, some young ladies were playing dolaks, some were dancing and altogether it was a festive atmosphere going on. Everybody was so happy, Even Dilshad was also happy that Asad had confessed that he wanted to marry Zoya in real. The ladies were mixing mehndi and Najma said "I will put on some mehndi songs from my laptop and she played "Mehndi laga ke rakhna".

Asad was listening to this song from his room and suddenly when that song started to play Ayan entered through his window. He said "Bhaijaan" and he hugged him. But Asad didn't hug him in response he was standing there as a robot staring into vaccum. Ayan asked "Bhaijaan nervous" "Koi baat nahi aisa hota hai, you know kal mein bhi nervous tha, par jab Mona saat mein ho tho saari pareshani aise chukti bajake door hojathi hai." You know what bhai, kal mein na Mona Darling ke office mein gaya tha but Mona se baat karkar I was feeling so confident that now , mein apni dil ki baat sabke samne bol saktha hoon. You know bhaijaan, mein ..." Asad didn't let him complete and went outside the room and he found himself standing between a swarm of ladies. He regretted for coming outside. But then Arjun called him and said he is waiting for him in the office with the papers. Asad said hes coming now and thought to escape from this torture he was witnessing. But Zeenat stopped him from going " Are Asad miyaan kahan jaa rahe aap? Aaj to Zoya ki mehndi hai, aur apko abhi bohot kuch karna hai." She made Asad to sit on the couch along with Anwar. He gave a weak smile to Anwar. Anwar sensed something wrong with Asad with this expressions and body language. He was sitting stiff, with his face muscles twitched, his hands fisted, jaws clenched and frown on his head, and blood red eyes. Anwar was not understanding Asads tension but he doubted something wrong. Anwar asked "any problem" Asad said "nothing still no change in his body language." Anwar thought to ask him after wards since they were between a function. Zoya was viewing Asad only and Ayan came and stood behind Asad. He gave a thumbs up to Zoya . Zoya smiled. Asad saw Zoya smiling and at the same time he felt Ayans hand on his shoulder. He turned and looked and again misunderstood Zoyas smile was for Ayan. An myriad of emotions was playing in his mind now, he wanted to terribly get away from this situation but he was being stopped by one person or the other. So he thought he will make some black coffee for him and went to the kitchen.

Zoyas mehndi was started and she was sitting on a low stool with her both hands being designed with one of most beautiful mehndi designs. Dilshad had arranged for the best designers as she did not want to leave any stone untouched in her sons marriage. Zoya was glancing at Asad only but Asad was not at all looking at her. She was craving for his one look but Asad hadnt turned to her direction. She thought he was purposely avoiding her becoz there was so much crowd and Asad dislikes it. She thought too whether they are caught in an embarrassing situation, Asad will not be able to take the teasing from the whole lot of ladies present and hence she too thought that after the function she will catch up with him. Her mehndi designer asked her "Are banno kahan likhoon Asad ka naam, aur kaise likoon, urdu mein, yah phir, angrezi mein, yah phir hindi mein." Asad heard that and remembered of Zoyas saying "I love you in many languages to Ayan" He flinched at the thought and looked at Ayan. At that time Ayan said "Koi bhi language chalega bi, kyunki pyar ka koi language nahi hot hai Kyun bhaijaan." His words were stabbing his heart. The more he wanted to avoid the situation he was getting into it further. He wanted a release from here. He thought he will go out and sit at the portico. By that time Zoyas mehndi was completed and she got up and went to Ayan and asked Nikhat aur Humera nahi dikh rahe hai, kyun nahi aye? Ayan explained that Badi bi is missing from yesterday and everybody at his house are very tensed. Asad turned to see that Zoya and Ayan was talking to each other seriously. He thought today it will be the end of everything this whole drama he was witnessing. He was going to go that Zoya came towards him facing him. "Kahan jaa rahe hain Mr. Khan, vo kya haina mere haath mein mehndi lagi hai, aur muje pyaz bh lagi hai, aap pls paani pila dijiye." Asad was shocked at zoyas request. He took a glass full of water and kept it on zoyas side in the table. Zoya "Aap hamesha buddu hi rahenge, mere hathon mein mehndi hai, mein kaise peeungi, pila deejiye naa pls" Asad wanted to escape that moment. Ayan was passing by he called him. "Ayan idhar aao, Zoya ko thoda pani pila do, muje kuch urgent kaam hai and he went away." Zoya was again taken aback at his reaction. When Ayan came she said she isn't thirsty she said it becoz she wanted to share some moments with Asad. "Emotionally challenged, akdu ahmed khan"

Zoya was called again to see mehndi was dried. Asad thought this time he will go out for sure escaping everybodys eyes and he sneeked out. But was stopped by Najma, "Bhaijaan kahan jaa rahe aap, idhar ayena, abhi toh apki test hona baaki hai." She dragged Asad to the middle of all the ladies and made him sit beside zoya. Zoya was happy that she was sitting with him. Dilshad said "Asad, zoya ki mehndi mein apna naam doondo, varna tumhe Zoya ki manpasand murad poori karni padegi" Asad asked his ammi "Ammi kya yeh sab zaroori hai." Dilshad said "Han zaroori hai." Asad reluctantly took zoyas hand and he thought he will escape by saying he didn't find. And said accordingly that he couldn't find his name. He was not at all interested in all this now. Najma said "Yeh zoya jeet gayi, ab Bhaijaan Zoya ki wish poori kijiye, Zoya kuch thagda manga, phir mouka nahi milega, something solid okay." Zoya looked at Dilshad, Najma, Anwar , Zeenat and then at Ayan. Ayan was smiling that his bhaijaan was going to have his love. Then she looked at Asad. Asad did notice the smile on Ayans face when she looked at him, he thought she is going to demand that she cant do this nikah becoz she loves Ayan. And he also thought good everything will come to an end. But Zoya looked at Asad so lovingly, while he was not noticing it at all and said " Ab muje kuch aur mangne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, bina mange muje sab kuch milgaya hai." Asad misunderstood her words that now that she has got his love Ayan now that she doesn't want anything more and that she didn't tell it openly becoz Ayan was silent. May be wanted Ayan to break this news before everyone. Asad immediately got up and went in a haste. He was getting calls and messages from Arjun that he was waiting for him in the office. But becoz of the activities in his house, he was not able to go. He went to terrace to inhale some fresh air and release his tension. He was standing there with his arms folded across the chest.

Zoya didn't fail to notice the indifferent attitude in Asads behaviour towards her and she was searching for him in order to confront him and question him why he is avoiding her. She resolved that today she will tell him that she loves him and she too wants this marriage and its not compromised. On seeing her finding Asad, Zeenat and Dilshad said she is not supposed to see him till nikhh from now and zoya was like O mouthed. Zoya pleaded with them and asked them to allow her to meet him for once now. They allowed seeing zoyas desperation. Zoya was happy. She at last found him on terrace. She came from behind and hugged him from the back and called Mr. Khan brushing her face on his back. Asad baffled at zoyas behaviour turned to see her with a dimpled smile. Asads mind was clogged and clouded with all sorts of Zoyaan thoughts now. He barked "Whats this Ms. Farookhi?, yeh kya badatameezi hai? Apko koi sharm yah lihaaz hai, aise paray mard ko gale laga rahi hai? Oh I forgot aap New York se hai vahan yeh sab chalta hoga, its common there, right, to date one person, to love another, to marry some other then divorce then marry again etc. Aap bhi aisi hai, maine socha tha ki aap ek acchi ladki hai, you know what apse sagaai karneka mera faisla hi galat tha, pata nahi mein maan kyun gaya." Asad "Oh tho mere mooh se sunna chahti tho suniye, aap yeh kounsa naya drama khel rahi hai, apko yeah sab mazak aur khel lagtha hai na, logo ki jazabaat so khelna etc, Ayan ke saat mohabbat ka natak aur mere saath nikah ka natak, kya yeh bhi koi, naya game hai jo aap banana wali hai, aur uske liye you are using me and Ayan as puppets, are you double timing me and Ayan?" It took a minute to realise what Asad had said, he was accusing her of betrayal and double timing. Zoya stumbled back now, tears started to flow unlimitedly from her eyes. Zoya shouted "Mr.Khan" "aaap itni gire hui soch rakhte hai maine socha nahi tha, agar apko mujse nikah nahi karna tha, tho pehle aap sagai kyun ki, then phir apne phoppi ke liye iss drama ko barkarar rakha, then again i gave in, apne hi kaha than a ki aap phoppiki khushi ke liye muje bhi jhel sakte hain, then again yesterday apne firse meri api aur jiju ke saamne bola ki aap mujse nikah karna chahte hain. To ab tak job hi hua hai, vo sab apne apni marzi se kiya hai, agar apko muje iss tarah se inzaaam laga kar beizzat karkar nikal na tha, tho itna drama karne ki kya zaroorat thi? Seedhe keh dete ki zoya ek characterless ladki aur mein isse nikha nahi kar saktha, aap bhi khush, mein bhi khush sab khush. Aaap jaise inzaan maine zindagi mein nahi, kya soch ke ayi thi aap ke paas ki aaj mein kuch batein clear karoongi lekin aap chahte nahi kuch clear ho, app hamesha aise hi rehenge Mr. Khan,aap hamesha apni marzi sab pe thop the hain, chahe unhe acha lage yah na lage. Aap apne hisaab iss duniya ko chalana chahte hai, par sorry to say duniya aise nahi chalti Mr. Khan jiss rishte mein mohabbat na ho, vo rishta samjouta hota hai, aur jisme bharosa na ho, vo khokla hota hai, aur dono hi soorat mein, rishta kayam nahi rahta hain, use tootna hi hota hai, acha hua muje pata chala aap mere barein mein aise rai rakhte hai, vo bhi nikah se pehle. Varna muje ek samjounti zindagi jene par majboor hojathi. Anyway thank you Mr. Khan apne yeh sab pehle hi bataya, Aur ek baat mera Ayan ke saath kya rishta hai ab main apko samajane mein koi interest nahi rakhti hoon, kyunki aap uske kabil nahi hai."

Asad just walked out the moment and Zoya crashed down on the floor crying loudly. Seeing Asad going in haste outside with his SUV everybody was tensed. They immediately assumed that something happened between him and Zoya that he was angry. All were searching for Zoya and found her on terrace crying helplessly. She was not talking at all. Everybody was asking in turns what happened but she couldn't talk but only cry. They took her downstairs to her room and made her lie on the bed. Ayan was dialling Asads number but was not going. Asad was driving recklessly, he was not avoiding any pits or bumps on the road but only speeding. Zoya passed out while crying. Everybody was waiting for Asads return impatiently.

Asads office

Arjun was waiting for Asad to come and Asad entered the cabin in anger and steered to the window and broke the glass in front of Arjun. Arjun immediately went to pacify him, he was shocked by Asads behaviour. He asked the servant in their office to clean up the mess and the glass pieces and also asked him to bring the first aid box. The servant did accordingly Arjun was bandaging Asads wounds that servant gave Asad an envelope," vo iss cupboard ke neeche tha, jab maine jhadoo ghoomaya tho muje yeh mila ,shayad koi kaam ka ho." Asad saw it and recognised as zoyas envelope, he took it in anger and was about to tear it. Arjun snatched it from his hand and said pehle bandage and then you can tear it, its not yet finished yet. He kept the envelope on the table and completed the bandage. All this time Asad was eyeing that envelope which was noticed by Arjun. He made Asad to sit on the chair. He took the envelope and opened it a cheque fell from it. Arjun took the cheque and kept on the table. Then he again searched the envelope and got a letter. He opened the letter and began to read it. The letter read as

Dear Mr.Khan

Dear to bula hi sakti hoon, itna toh jan pehchaan hai hamare beech mein, haina Mr. Khan, hmm to mein finally jaa rahi hoon, iss mulk se door, aap ki zindagi se door, par mein vapis aungi, kyunki mera talaash ab tak khatam nahi hua hai, to shayad hum phir mile, muje pata nahi Mr. Khan ki mein yeh khat aapko kyun likh rahi hoon, shayad issliye ki yeh sari batein mein apse directly nahi keh sakti, meine mehsoos kiya hai,, ki hamare beech ek ankaha, ansuna ajeeb rishta hai, hum dono ek jaise hi hain, mere abbu ne muje chod diya, apki abbu ne bhi, mein bhi akeli tanha, aur app bhi, aur kuch din apke ghar mein rehkar, apke saath rehkar mein yeh jana ki utne bure insaan nahi, bas thoda emotionally challenged hai, jo apni dil ki baat bolne ke kiye bohot waqt lete hain. Aap ek ache bte aur bohot hi wonderful bhai hai. Aaj mein apse kuch kehna chahti hoon, muje pata hai apko acha nahi legega, par phir bhi kahungi, Iss letter ke saath ek cheque bhi mein rakti hoon, agar aapne muje hamesha ammi ki mehmaan samjha hai to iss cheque ko aap cash kar lijiye, main jahan bhi rahungi muje pata chal jayega ki aapne muje ek mehmaan ke alawa aur kuch nahi samja hai, lekin agar aisa nahi hai, tho iss cheque par aap cancelled likh kar muje lota denge jab hum phir milenge. Mai samaj jaungi aap kya kehna chahte hain. Mein aisa issliye karne keliye keh rahi hoon, kyunki aap Emotionally Challenged hai aur yeh seedha keh nai payenge. Lekin maine apke aankhon mein ajeeb sa ehsaas dekha hai aur muje thoda thoda yaad hai hamari vo bhanga wali raati bhi. Tho mein jahan bhi rahungi apke jawab ka intezaar karungi."

Ms. Farookhi sorry Ms. Musibat

Arjun stopped reading it. Asad had his eye glued on the letter only. Each and every word was piercing him in his heart a thousand times. He now imagined what a damage he had done just right now. He couldn't believe his ears and eyes, Zoya was waiting for his cancelled cheque all these times and he now confirmed that "Koi tho hai in zoya letter is no one but him and him only" He realised what a big mistake he had done today. He took the letter and cheque from Arjuns hand was looking lovingly at it. Arjun said "oho tho ishq ka mamla hai, Asad miyaan, jaldi se cancelled cheque dedo varna kahin der na hojaye." Arjun's kahin der na hojaye rang in his head and he quickly sprang up from his chair and ran out saying that its already late, I have to go. Arjun said now he too wants to leave since the purpose is served tonight itself and he hands over the Doll factory papers to him. They both hug each other and part ways. Asad was now super happy and was driving home back with that cheque in his hand. He wanted to take her in his arms and say sorry a thousand times for what he had done. But he thought, will she forgive him for what he had spewed at her? He was feeling very ashamed to face her now, but right now he is not going to loose her and will try everything to win her trust and love back.

Asads house

Everybody had retired in the rooms since Asad didn't turn up. Zeenat was not feeling well , she had already vomited a lot of times. Anwar was beside her taking care of her. Najma was with Zoya to take care of her. Dilshad was waiting for Asad to come back along with Ayan and the guesst had left. Ayan was dialling his number but Asad never picked up. Zeenat had fainted due to zoyas condition and in her condition it was not a welcome thing at all. She vomited also many times and a doctor had already been called to check on her. When the doctor came everybody went to Zeenats room for checking on her condition. Najma too came out to see Zeenat. Asad came back and seeing his house desolate called his ammi. And heard voices from Zeenats room. He went towards the room and saw everybody in panic condition. He entered and asked "What happened to Appi? " Dilshad didn't say anything as she didn't want any drama in front of the doctor. Doctor said "Dekhiye, ek to inki pregnancy late hai, I mean she is a little over the normal age but nevertheless she is healthy and fine, but stress and tension is not at all good in this age, it may shoot up more problems only, always try to keep her happy and free from any kind of stress. Her blood pressure can go up at any time which may not be good for her and the baby. For now I have prescribed some medicines and give her at regular intervals." Doctor walked out and Anwar followed him and led to the door. Asad was standing in the room found that Zoya was not there. So he asked "Zoya kahan hai?" Najma "Bhaijaan she was crying vehemently and passed out also, she is in her room. Aap mil lijiye, jayiye," Asad didn't wait for Najmas sentence to be completed he shot to her room and opened the door to find it empty, She was nowhere, he checked the bathroom too. He called Najma again "hearing Asad everybody came to check and he said Zoya is not in her room. Everybody soon found out that Zoya is missing. Asad panicked. Dilshad confronted Asad and asked him what happened between him and Zoya. Asad couldn't hide anything from her he told whatever happened between her and him on the terrace. Next moment he got a tight slap from Dilshad. "Asad muje tumse yeh umeed nahi thi, aaj tumne yeh sab kar kar meri parvarish ko gali di hai Asad"

Asad was not all shocked as he thought he deserved one for his reckless behaviour. He was standing there with his head hung in shame. Ayan was perplexed at Asads conclusions. He came to him and said "Bhaijaan aapne soch kaise liya ki mein aur Mona, you know what bhaijaan aaj apne yeh sabit kardiya ki mein apka sautela bhai hoon, varna koi aise apne bhai par shak karta?" Asad said "nai ayan muje maaf kardo, muje pata hai ki maine bohot badi galti ki hai, aur mein use teek bhi karna chahta hoon. At least tum to muje samjo pls." Ayan said "Bhaijaan aapne yeh kaise socha ki Mona se mein mohabbat karunga, mana Mona aur meri bohot jamti hai aur humare beech bohot kuch same to same hai iska yeh matlab tho nahi ki mein Mona se pyar karta hoon.Bhaijaan aapko pyar ka maine pata hai? Kitni baar maine aapko samjane koshish ki ki Zoya se aap pyar karthe hai, lekin sachai se aap bhaag rahe the, aur ab jab sab kuch teek horaha tha, tho apne khud use apne haton se bigad diya? Aur rahi baat uss din apne office mein jo dekha, Mona muje samjha rahi thi ki muje Humera ko apni dil ki baat kaisa kehna hai, she was trying to give me confidence by doing a mock proposal. Aur apne sab kuch imagine kar liya ki main aur Mona ek doosre se pyar karthe hain aur use dimag mein rakhe apne Mona ko kya kya keh diya, yahan tak ki vo characterless hain? After Ayan went it was Dilshads turn now. Asad "ammi" Dilshad continued "Barso pehle tumhare abbu ne muje dhoka diya, aur tumne bhi kuch kaam nahi kiya, tum to unse bhi gaye gusre ho Asad, apni honewali dulhan ko characterless kehke, vo bhi Zoya jaise ladki ko ? Kyun kyunki vo jeans pehnti hai, vo thodi batooni hai, vo hasi mazak karthi hai, yah phir sabko khush rakhne koshish karti hai, Kyun Asad kyun? Asads room

Asad was standing by the window and remembering all the sweet moments he shared with Zoya, Tears were flowing from eyes. Precap: Zoya in a train towards Mumbai. The fellow travellers take her too alongwith them to visit Haji Ali Dargah. Asad goes to meet Ayan and he says sorry to him and asks him to help him find Zoya, Ayan says "theres is only one way, her story will bring her back, she will come back to complete it." Asad is advised by someone to visit Haji Ali. One month time has been passed now. Zeenat was still kept in dark since she was entering her 6^th month of pregnancy. Asad finds Zoya after one month. He confronts her and apologises. She refuses to comeback. Asad tells her that she has left her story incomplete and that she should not punish the children who are eargerly waiting for their story for his mistakes. And most importantly her api too needs her now and her condition is very cirtical. Zoya agrees to comeback but keeps a condition.
