Hi, I clicked to read the one shot, out of curiosity, simply because the title said raga and now I am reminiscing my classical training. Read the one on the ragam Sindhu Bhairavi, though I do not remember learning any varnams in it, one of my personal favourite AR Rehman songs is rendered in it (Snehidane from Alaipayutthe or Chupke se from Saathiya). Wasn't aware that the ragam represents Shakthi.
I liked the characterisations in your story. Could completely imagine Khushi turning a shade redder than usual in her fury and a dazed Arnav responding a 'huh' before his saving grace of a statement, for being caught openly gaping at his employee. If ASR is known for his quick decisions and speedy implementations then a sudden proposal and a marriage in a few weeks it is.
PS: Your definition of Narada is worth a mention, specially the journalist one. Have been reading far too many satires on Arnab nowadays.
