Raga 7 -

Again a Raga which I have heard in lot of songs but didn't know its details. Mklam, I seriously believe humour is your highlighted writing. You write such scenes brilliantly! In this forum, I always considered Sabi (saucechips) the no.1 in presenting situations/scenes/emotion, you name it..in such a way we end up laughing holding our stomach and then there is Ananya (Anarocksick) who stuns me with such witty tales. Now as I read some of your works I believe in your talent, not that I doubted it earlier but only few make an impact with presenting humour through words and you are one of them. Your scripting shows it well enough, and there is an ease also the surprising part is that with few words you accomplish a great effect which I am greatly envious and its highly admiring. Plus you provide information, small bits here and there which tells the reader about how vastly read and informed you are. You never fail to include a character and give each of them a special care or attention in your own way of writing. Btw, whats Akash's obsession with banana? It is your touch? I loved the 3 P huddling together when the call comes to toss and seek the unlucky. That was absolutely funny!

Raga 8 - Mklam, you took me here by surprise when you mentioned kerala, my state! And girl, you made me laugh with many things..

1. Rumour had it that Aman was yet to recover from his boss's grateful smile.

2. "My name is Happy Kutty - I'm the caretaker of this place." --- The kutty surname, another sign of Kerala but when it was connected to Happyji! I had a good laugh..You didn't forget anyone did you? J And I am glad he had a good meaty role in this story

3. Khushi's family background was interesting and a good change.

4. You described the place and settings very enchantingly!

5. When she walked towards the chair, she sensed him behind her. The one with the chocolate-brown eyes whose stare unnerved her and made her crave for the forbidden.----That was a sexy way of expression!

6. "This is aapam and ishtu" -------Oh my!!!! Appam and Ishtu...are you from Kerala???

7. food was said to be the elixir of love. Happy Kutty was an old hand at bringing people together with his culinary masterpieces. 'All those people working with oysters and chocolate recipes were unimaginative fools. Bah!' --- ha ha...that was a dig at the master chefs! But yes, food is the elixir of love and I am a big foodie who agrees 1000%

8. Happy had a smug smile on his face as he came up with the next ace in his sleeve - "malabar parotta and kurma". ----Oh my girl!!! You are killing me with mentioning my fav dishes!!! I am from Malabar!! Have you watched Usthad Hotel Movie?? If not, I strongly recommend you to watch! And another one is Salt and Pepper movie! In salt and pepper the trailer of the movie will itself leave you in heaven!

9. It was debatable whether ASR's shaatir dimag or Happy's recipes was the deciding factor in tipping the scales--- No debate for me,..its food of Happy kutty's!

10. When Khushi finally entered her new home, she didn't come alone. As part of her retinue was one happy man who taught Arnav and Khushi the true meaning of love over a bowl of stew.--- wow!!! I loved this one OS to bits!

Thank you Mklam, you left me in very high spirits after reading this one!

Raga 9

One woman was squealing like a pig as her eyebrows were being threaded while another woman looked like she had been transported from an alternate universe with her hair sticking out of strange contraptions. Yet another looked like a clown with what looked like gunk on her face that her features were barely visible. ---- wow! What a description! Hilarious!!

Two days earlier when Khushi had confessed how she dreaded going for the annual event at her company Lavanya had decided to play fairy godmother.--- aha! That's my fav role! Being a fairy!!

The blouse which had very short sleeves and a low back would undoubtedly fail the Madhumati Rao litmus test for indecent exposure. ---- you present Madhuji's conservative attitude in such a interesting and funny way that I cant help but laugh at it!

The more she retreated, the more he pursued her. It was a dance as old as time, one that only lovers understood and played.---Giggles!!!

My god! That was a weird deal between La and Arnav. But was Khushi aware of it? I don't like her being manipulated into love.

Who ever thought that Manorama Raizada and Lavanya Kashyap would bond over face packs and head massages? --- well I did, their was an excellent combination in the serial but instead of facepacks and massages, there was an excellent cooking scene which had left me in splits!

I do not use make-up. This OS was a blind shot in the dark. I am still searching for a Lavanya to give me the right tips as this part of my education was sadly neglected. --- Oh don't worry, if you need help, please be free to ask. I love dressing up!

You definitely have something against Anjali lol! ----The famed "Anjali Raizada Puja Thaali" had me laughing but that's true you know? The impact of that serial is that now whenever I see a pooja thali I remember Anjali. Whenever I see a SUV white one in the delhi streets I glance at it with a bubbling inside me thinking of Arnav and whenever I see jalebi in this delhi streets I remember Khushi and whenever I have golgappa I remember...sigh!

Loved the way you described the kids -- He had an image to keep up as he was the ASR cub. The twins Arjun and Aradhana were chips of the old block - if one was upto something mischievous, the other was trying to lay down the law.

Arvind Kejriwal in his trademark cap minus the broom was the first to arrive. Lol!! Really?? He does attend such functions??

The name Manorama Raizada frequently popped up in these articles as she had been the guinea pig for Lavanya's novel ideas from the very beginning.--- You had me here ROFL!!

Nani smiled approvingly with her lips closed (sans teeth the smile looked more dignified). Oh my! That was a good one..yea even I agree with lips closed, her smile is beautiful!!

All the os in this serious are phenomenal. I smile as a read them, as they are so endearing, so thoughtful, as well the stories have so much depth. You are helping these lovely characters still be in our lives. You are such a great story teller. Except the stories are a tad too short. They are like having great appetizers and waiting for a similarly excellent meal. Thus can we have more...longer...

A musical journey like no other - with a gorgeous scrumptious drop dead smirking ASR.
