But here I feel Arnav feels Kushi deserves someone better and not him who is bruised bcos of his bad childhood

Arnav ran of in another direction as soon as he over heard Khushi saying that she is in love with him .. He might be thinking that it would complicate things in the only family and real relations he knows who gave him home and support and love ... Didn't Arnav ever think that she is staying away from everything and her family and even change her university at the last moment just to keep away from him ? And she don't even know that he had over heard her that day ... And now he walks in with Lavnya and he knows she is there ...
But that's a family full of Doctors even Arnav is one too so read tht she is not one so than what is her profession??

So, Guptas are family of Ks - Karan, Kush, Krish and Khushi. It's such a well Knitted family, Kind and Knowledgeable. Arnav is so lucky to have found such a large hearted family that absorbed him into their family as well as lives. It seems like he was always meant to be part of them.

Khushi is probably the Klutz of the family, her emotions are Knotted and she is Keen on staying away from Arnav. All of 17 and she already had her first love break her heart. I can't imagine how hurt she much have, to leave the warmth of her parents and protectiveness of her brothers and move far away from family. This also shows the depth of her love. I Khushi physically ran away from Arnav and looks like Arnav is emotionally running away from his own feelings for Khushi.
