Astha reached on the first floor, it took her directly to waiting lounge, there she saw... Agnihotri's and Varun-Gauri and Swati sitting on chairs quietly...

She went near Varun Gauri wiping her tears... And stood in front of them...

Astha...they all were shocked seeing her there... tum yhan? Gauri looked at her...but Astha immediately raised her hand and slapped Gauri as well as Varun...how dare you, how dare you hide from me? She was beating them with her hands as well as crying badly...why didn't you tell me... why? You are my best friends na...they were standing quiet crying with her, when Gauri held her hands...and spoke...because Shlok didn't want you to know...he didn't want you to break like this, saying she pulled Astha for tight hug caressing her back... but she was crying continuously, when Anjali came there caressing her head...control your self Astha...wo tumhe isi dard se bachana chahta tha... isi liye usne hum sab ko kasam de rakhi thi, koi tumhe uske bare mein nahi batayega...

When Astha's phone rang, it was kalindi...Ayii...Astha spoke...Shlok...

Kya huya Shlok ko beta? Kalindi was worried...but phone dropped from Astha's hand as she could not speak further... Gauri picked it and told everything to Kalindi...

Kya hua hai use? Astha broke hug and asked Anjali... his doctor downstairs told me, he is being given chemotherapy since last two months...

Blood cancer... Anjali wiped her tears...

What did doctor say? Astha spoke but Anjali lowered her head... She broke down when Niranjan tried to control her, Astha looked at Gauri for reply...

Listening Astha sat on the floor quietly like a statue... Astha, Astha... Gauri and Varun spoke to her but no reply, she was sitting like a lifeless doll just tears flowing from her eyes... When Gauri shook her badly... Astha...please handle yourself...Varun and Gauri held her and made her sit on chair...Varun brought water for Astha but she denied to take it...

Almost half an hour had passed like this... Astha's color's face had turned pale in last few minutes as if someone has taken all blood from her body... May I see him...she whispered...

Varun looked towards Gauri, she too nodded in yes, Astha tried to stand up but she was too much in mental pain, lost her balance...when Gauri and Varun held her taking her to the room...

As they entered, Astha was taken aback on seeing shlok's condition for a moment... a number of equipment were placed around him, many pipes were passing through his body and he was lying almost unconscious...

Astha stopped there for few minutes quietly...when Varun signaled Gauri to turn her back to go out...

Gauri held her hand to go back...but she got herself free from their hands and slowly stepped towards Shlok... Varun tried to signal her in no but Gauri stopped him and whispered... no Varun...let her...

Astha slowly moved towards Shlok reaching near her, a nurse was sitting there tried to stop her but Varun signaled her requesting for not stopping her...

Astha slowly reached near Shlok and stood near him...she slowly sat on his bed and caressed his face... a tear escaped from her eye falling on his face...then she slowly bent and placed a kiss on his forehead...

Astha... On her touch Shlok whispered...

Listening her name with so much love after so many days, more tears rolled over Astha's face and she ran out immediately crying badly...

After two hours, Astha had controlled herself but was going to shlok's room's gate again and again and watched him through glass window at gate...

Finally she sat on chair...and spoke... that's why I was feeling so restless these days...kitni baar miane tum logon se poocha bhi kya huyaa hai, why you all are upset? Why you want me to move out of shlok's life? Was he only your friend? She looked ta Varun and Gauri...

Astha, it's not so... Varun spoke...but he took a promise from us not to tell you...

Actually that was infection due to blood cancer, doctor said sometimes symptoms don't appear In time and same happened here... He was suffering from fever for seven days and you were taking care of him.

Ya, but baba was also suffering from some problem and I had to leave for Pune, even I didn't want to go but Shlok forced me to go...Astha spoke...

As you went, we took him to hospital and some further tests were conducted on him, when doctors found...it was...blood cancer... that too at third stage...his chemotherapy started immediately...I tried to call you, but your phone was unavailable or I must say fate didn't want you to know the truth...till then Shlok got consciousness and the first thing he did, he bound us with his swear not to tell you all this...Varun paused...

That's why as soon as I came back he announced our breakup without any reason saying he doesn't love me anymore? Astha spoke...

Ya, he just wanted you to go back to your home as soon as possible and to never know the truth.. Gauri spoke, that's why we were also helping him forcing you to move out of his life... But how did you come to know?

I was quite restless when I went there on you people's strange behavior, I called baba...she looked towards Niranjan and talked...the she told them about conversation with Niranjan followed by Varun...

I was doubtful, so I requested conference's secretary to prepone my presentation to Wednesday instead of Friday...and I came back soon...then I went to Agnihotri mention and...she broke down...

Till then kalindi and Avdhoot had also reached there... Astha cried her heart out hugging his ayii baba...

Gauri caressed Astha and made her a bit relaxed...

While kalindi and Avdhoot met Niranjan and Anjali giving them strength...

Astha now what will we answer Shlok? He doesn't want you to be in his life...he wants your happiness...

A faint smile appeared on her face...wo to stupid hai, if he thinks, I will leave him or I will be happy in my life moving away from him... how could he imagine someone else can take his place in my life ever...I am just his and will be till end of my life...

But he will not be able to see you in pain...this will break him even...Swati spoke...

If he can hide too much pain from last two months, can't I hide the truth? But I will be there by his side only...always...and will find out the way... God can't do so wrong with us...koi rasta to hoga is problem se bahar an eka, koi medicine, koi surgery ya koi aur therapy...

Mr. Agnihotri, doctor Singhania has called you in...AA nurse came there speaking to Niranjan.

Both Anjali and Niranjan started to walk, when Astha too stood up...ayii, abba. I am also coming with you...

Half an hour had passed when Niranjan and Anjali came out while Astha was still inside doctor's cabin.
