Loved the narration..not just for how maturely you handled the sensuality but more so for the small subtle steps these two love birds are taking towards each other.. i like how i see more ''man'' than the ''beast'' these days.. i like how gradually he's paving way to gain her trust.. loved how you described the light from fire dancing on her features n hair.. i couldn't help imagine how handsome it must have made his face n especially how his content eyes must have shone beautifully every time a spark from the fire crackled.. i guess there's nothing more beautiful than ''Care''.. and how vulnerable they both are to that feeling..

That was in any case, one hell of ''immunity building''.😆

I see that the chapter is heavily laden with symbolism.. waiting for my partners to be back,until then wont comment on it.

Ooo well well well things are definently heating up...well maybe that's an understatement aha seeing khushis state! But it's interesting to see that Arnav is making these advances because from what I recall of his conversation with the general, his being intimate with Khushi would be dangerous for her so...but he can only resist so much...he may have some superhuman abilities in him but he is a man after all...doesn't help his resolve is Khushi I willing either! Poor girl...can't resist him even though she wants to but on the other hand she doesn't want to aha this hot and cold behavior is gonna give me whiplash! But good news is this calls for more "practice" so khushi can "take him" ahem ahem so says lord Arnav! :D

I begin by saying that just reading the title had me ☺️ and all eager! 😛

Hmmm, so true to his traits Lordy refuses to even entertain the idea of going to the village. But I am glad that despite their lack of communication Khushi goes with him to the industry daily. As long as she is unaware of the true nature of things around her, it is extremely dangerous for her to be alone in the General's company. This is the main point that I am unable to comprehend. Obviously Lord Arnav understands the threat that looms over his wife. WHY DOESN'T HE TELL HER THE TRUTH ABOUT HIMSELF AND THE GENERAL??? I have raised this doubt earlier as well. Are they bound by the curse to not speak of it to others??? Is is the same with the other members of the family??? Why is everyone keeping Khushi in the dark especially when they know that Arnav also transforms?? shouldn't she be made aware of the situation???? 😕

It is such small actions like these which point out to much deeper feelings of our Lordy, he wants her in front of his eyes at all times. It makes him restless to not see her for a prolonged period of time. So adorable he can be. And what do I even say about Khushi, madame never accepts defeat! Even though she knows that it is a lost cause now, she still stands up to him always. And that just warms me up! 👍🏼

The way he states his intentions to "play" with his wife leave me wide eyed and blushing! Ah dear Lin, as I have said before, how about a warning for us weak-hearted folk eh? How long do you think I am gonna last if you write such smoldering things! 😆

Oops, I have been brought back from dreamland by that tea spill. You can just see how much he CARES for her. These various shades that Arnav has was one of the things that hooked me onto the show and here as well you have brought it to the fore in a beautiful manner. Kudos for the fantastic character nuances you have portrayed 👏 . See, just what I was saying, one minute he is angry, the next he is playful, then he is the caring and concerned husband, then he takes into account her comfort and hesitations, in spite of the desire his first thought is to tend to her and ensure that she is indeed ok. This conflicted man is the one that made me a fan of the AMAZING IPPKND. ❤️

Lin, you are right. During my lit. classes, I started, almost, analyzing everything. Now that I have graduates and am not taking any lit classes, I'm taking that enjoyment here and analyzing the crap out of this story. I'm not sure if I'm getting any of it right, but please do correct me if I get anything wrong. And I'm glad you enjoy my analysis. Here's another one for everyone.

Aqualine ff analysis

Khushi undressing and wrapping herself in curtain. She is allowing herself to him, but not fully. Like she said, she knows what he needs but is still denying it. She is allowing herself to undress in front of him, but only when she is concealed from his eyes. And the curtain serves that exact purpose. As long as she still feels shy and doesn't approve of undressing in front of her, he will not get what he needs.
The fire image, in the first part when she is sitting in front of the fire place, and the light glowing around her, she seems as some kind of oracle or goddess. He is in complete awe of her. Then during their little intimate scene, she says that she has never imagined how a man's hands can worship a body as he does to hers. He sees her as some kind of mystical, goddess-like entity. Not fully human. Her innocence and femininity support this. She is the mystery, enigma that he doesn't understand and yet, in a way, doesn't want to.
The last scene, where he sits in the chair and sets her in his lap and let's the light dance upon her child's face, you are again showing us her innocence and femininity. Also her strength, since fire signifies strength. She has a strength in her that no one knows about, not even her husband. Him gazing upon her is showing that as much as he shows how he doesn't care at times, he tries to figure her out when the two are alone, especially when she is asleep. These types of scenes usually come after he has throughout drugged her with his kisses.

Anyways, loved the part, Lin. Like usual, you have done the show more than justice. It's absolutely perfect. I'm actually understanding more of the characters here then I did in the show. Especially the General. Keep going.
