After such a long time.

How have you been, Linnie? I've been away from this alternate world of mine for so long, but I've been keeping track of this tale. Honestly, your updates are the only reason I come back to I-F every once in a while.

I love how they're gradually settling into domesticity. How Khushi has moved on from "Lordy" to "my husband". How Arnav has accepted her permanent presence in her life, allowing himself to emote what he has never before let show. And the General? My, how I want to even begin disliking him, but it is impossible, he plays his "villainy" with such charm.

Oh, so much familial love! Our First Lord is bound to long for it when he goes back to the Castle leaving this "home" behind, as it is to become by the end of this eventful week. It was lovely to read a chapter so heartfelt and filled with warm enthusiasm. The Guptas have accepted him like he has been there in their family for all his life. What with Buaji and smaller beds and pies and other goodies, this is surely going to be an fun week!

Yaaayyy!!! You updated! I was so scared that you won't update today. I'm so glad that you were able to update! I wonder what it is about the house that arnav doesn't like other than lack of luxuries. Does he feel he was deprived of the love and care that khushi got from her parents? Is he missing a perfect family? I hope arnav likes the village by the end of the stay. Really looking forward to the next update. Please update soon. I know you are having a hard time right now, and I completely understand - it happens with everyone at some point. No matter how long you take to update, I will still be here waiting. Thanks for that wonderful update!

finally the update. i just have one word for it superb. loved every part of the update. arnavs frankness to shashi that he call call him as he likes is too good. now cant wait to see what happens at night. will they fight for bed. cant wait to read more. please update soon
