Arnav is going to the village and feels no peace about it. He is afraid of losing himself and wht might happenif he can not control himself or his desires. He is also not comfortable without his luxuries, the same ones he won't have in the village. At the end of chapter 15, when Khushi turns to him in bed and hugs him and Arnav buries his face in her hair, Khushi already feels everything and had accepted it, his safety, her feelings, etc., and Lord Arnav is started to slowly accept them too, weather he realizes it or not. But he has realized that he finds peace with her, and I'm not sure if he has realized it or not, but his body has, that since she has started sleeping in her bed with him, he hasn't had a transformation. Which again is giving him an inner peace and, again I'm not sure if he knows that yet.

That's all I have to say. Would love some feedback!! Would be great if we could have a conversation about each chapter and discuss it's symbols

I also said that I would not delete entirely this NK character and that I would recreate NK in this FF as TWO characters: you will find traces of his "significant presence in IPK" in the Ram and Master Aman of this FF. Would that be enough, dearie?

Hey there, anjs! Nice to have caught up with you LIVE. Because in this FF, he is the only character I am creating entirely as my own creation. The rest are all borrowed from the show... you will know as the story progresses. But there is another bigger reason why I love him... every character created always carries little traces of the writer who created them. The degree of the writer's personality in a character varies though. The two characters who reflect of my personality to the most maximum are the General and Garima... So I have a special love for these two characters! I love the General even more than I love ArShi in this FF...

... CHAPTER 214: Master's Meddled Mind.

Hmmm... so far i was thinking that the dream was the play of events that was imprinted in Lordy's subconscious mind all these years... the confusing/shocking events of that fateful night that changed his world upside down in a flash of a second... and the resultant change in his perspective regarding his father... I thought the dream was a haunting memory of his grieving past. But on a closer look certain things caught my attention. The fine details you have added to the dream made me all curious.

The appearance of his parents... they materialising from the light rays... their incorporeal look (Glowing, immaterial appearance... are they souls of his mom and dad?!!!), Lordy's position in the shadows (implying that he is the ignorant, a living being?!!!), and finally, his father jumping into the earth's crevice taking his mother along with him to the darkness of the underground (In Greek mythology, the underground world [Hades] is the abode of the dead, right?!!!)... I loved the way how you have added this mythological touch to the dream.

Whether it's Lordy's subconscious mind that's recalling the past events (to remind him that he is following his father's footsteps of late) that led to the dream or whether the souls of his parents just appeared in his dream to remind him about his duty towards his family, in either way, the dream was very interesting. And, hats off to your brilliant writing.

[Note: "Sheol" (in Hebrew)/ "Hades" (in Greek), translated as "grave", "pit", or "abode of the dead", is the temporary underworld abode of the dead. It is a place of darkness to which all the dead go, both the righteous and the unrighteous, regardless of the moral choices made in life, a place of stillness and darkness cut off from God

The inhabitants of Sheol/Hades were the "Shades", entities without personality or strength...Shades can be taken to mean the spirit or ghost of a dead person, residing in the underworld.

Hoopoe! I never will find a day when I will not be reveling in the marvel of your methods!! You are really amazing... thank you for appreciating my efforts by your greater efforts to read into them! I am always humbled to know you find a morsel to chew on think its taste is worth trying...I always worry if one day my writing will stray away and lose the pristine depth it portrays presently... Of late, there were traces of the lax but I tried my best to not let it be too obvious. The only thing I fear now is after you think a lot of great thoughts, what if the climax and the revelation is not upto its mark and all you supposed would greatly happen, did not and it is not a fitting result for all your thinking. I trust my story and I trust my writer's instincts and deep down I know this is a masterpiece because that is how much I have planned, worked, replanned, and organized the symbols and ideas. I only pray that nothing that brings down many a great writer will bring down this work of mine... Was it mere "Guilt"?!!!... I may be wrong, but i somehow felt that the dream about his father and mother, which he had earlier, also played its bit in helping him arrive at that decision. I felt that the dream served its purpose by reminding him that he is unconsciously stepping into his father footsteps... a husband being unjust towards his wife in the name of family honour/ safety/ pride...

From his dream, two things are very clear. He is convinced that his father did injustice to his mother (however noble his reasons may be) and he hate his father for that... His bitterness towards his father even made him pledge to himself that he'll never become like his father.. at any cost. I guess that dream about his father (at this crucial juncture) must have stirred up his already nagging conscience about he being unjust towards his wife by turning a blind eye to her rightful demands.

I agree that there may be other factors too (like Khushi's despondency, his guilty conscience, family pressure, buaji's letter, General Jha, etc) that led him to arrive at that decision, but i felt that the dream too played an essential role.

Keep an eye on the dream. Will come handy. Not that I need to tell you ofcourse. You always do. *wink*

When he got into bed beside her and she felt his warm nearness underneath the blanket they shared, she felt the surge of gratitude again and, turning to him, she wrapped her arms around him and smiled in the dark, the resemblance of a grateful child embracing her gracious father.

Her sweet breath was on his lips, crumbling the walls of his tenacity.
I can so clearly see tied of emotions in lordy's heart and of thoughts in his mind... Fear, love, concern, worry all together.. I can feel that...
This chap is for HIM only for him... My Lordy!
P.S. I missed though Gen's reaction.. wasn't her around at dinner time?!!

Chapter 216: Venturing to the Village
Seeing his wife in an elated form made him want to feel proud of his decision, but he regretted it when, an hour later, his grandmother flatly refused his prerequisite for servants.

Lady Manorama looked innocently at Nani, "I was only trying to appease our little boy to not drop the candy he's holding."
Now this dialogue deserves some good CLAP!!
Just then General Shyam walked into the room and came to stand near Lord Manohar who looked up from his reading of the parchment to smile at the young soldier.
Aaah here he is...
"Is everything set, Chacha?" Lord Arnav asked his butler who looked up suddenly.
And here another he' has't change his mind!!
The General gripped at the hand in which was Lord Arnav's stiff hand and then smilingly growled in his ear, "Run for now, kitty cat. But there is no place you can hide where I won't find her."
Wooohooo... *whistle*
you clearly LOVE' your Gen.. and I LIKE it!!
He shot the General a last glare and then nodded around at everyone, "We're leaving. Akash, I hope to see the Castle and the Industry on their feet when I am back."
What a FIRMNESS with FUMES... Super like!!
When Kushi and Lord Arnav stepped out of the Castle and towards the carriage, the latter gave the butler a warm handshake of farewell and the former hugged the old man goodbye making him teary-eyed.
Ohh I was supervised at first.. lordy huged R.chacha.. and then I read it again.. and I was Oh ok'.. you played with word position...
Kushi and Lord Arnav had already got into the carriage and Rahim Chacha was shutting the carriage door when Fortune, the white parrot, having just returned from his morning wing-exercise, perched on Nani's shoulder to offer his share of farewell to the couple, "Return honeybee green!"
Ohhh I was missing you Forty, how are you birdie?
Oh Honeybee & Green heart together haan... smart you as usual!! *wink*
Fortune tilted his bird head at Nani and the old woman chuckled, "Oh, you clever thing. You feel it too, don't you. As do my old bones...they are never wrong."

How's everyone doing? It's been far too long that I dropped by. I've finally caught up on updates and I am glad to see how the story is unfolding! It was a real treat reading all of about 20 updates reading together. Arnav is melting and khushi's fire seems to be ignited.
That song... "everytime we touch I feel the static! And everytime we kiss I reach for the sky!..." fits the situation perfectly!

Finally Arnav babuwa decided to leave for the village! Hail buaji! Thank her for the guilt trip that Arnav took! :D

Shyam is still there -_- pissing me off, creeping me out with all of his bitter-honey-dipped- words.

Sigh. The curse... I have come to love the fact that everytime Arnav and khushi come closer, khushi is drained of all of her strength. It only makes all of this more real and more believable that curse is not just about the transformation.

Cannot wait to read ahead.

That's all for today... I am just too busy lately which is why I can barely be here anymore. My update dates will be a lot late in coming... I won't be as regular as I once was. I am having a few mendings in life to deal with... Missing you all a lot.

I am yet to write the chapters that are to come so I will be a lot delayed. I am praying and hoping that I make it on 15th because I don't want to go against my word. But if I return home late on 15th and there is nothing I can do in the aftermath, I will have to exempt myself from coming here...

Please do understand, I am trying. I really am.

But do not fear for even a single second that I will leave forever. Even if I cannot make it for a week or a month, I will never be gone forever. I will always come back. Always. This story means a lot to me though I have completely moved on from IPK and Hindi shows. Yes, as I wrote as answer in one of my pre-notes last month, I am back to my real world and IPK doesn't have its hook on me anymore. I never thought I would move on but one fine day I woke up to realize I had. I am real happy now because of that. Coz I found the real me again and I am back to focusing on the things that matter...

It really feels too good to live again.

But the FF won't die. Coz this story is really important to me. And though when I write I don't think of Barun and Sanaya or any of the other cast as the characters anymore, I still am grateful to the creators of IPK for having let me begin this story with their story as inspiration...

Until I come again with a new chapter to narrate, wish you all a divinely wonderful and love-filled St. Valentine's Day!
