Chapter 10

He continued " di is hurt, but not because of you and you have not hurt her , she knows you are also as much as a victim as her and she is the one who has sent me here to bring you back. she has seen shyams true face and herself found all proofs. She is missing you. She told me that it was just because of you and me that shyam could not hurt her. Even back at time of akash marriage she and nani ji were planning to get me married to you by making me jealous with you and NK as couple, limit was when they asked my opinion on your marriage alliance with NK and all I wanted to do was , tell them that you belong to me and you are just mine just mine. And my whole family was never embarrassed of you. You should know that my mami itself is so embarrassing , but we still do never feel insulted because she loves me and di more than even akash. Khushi you are kind and cultured, you blend tradition and modernity together in a beautiful manner that no one can. You symbolise that its not clothes that just make you, its you're thinking that reflects in your clothes. And you even in your simple clothes look more beautiful than any of my model in world best dress. You even in your simple saree look beautiful. all those who say you are traditional just say it because they are jealous of you, they can never look like you even with loads of makeup and world best cosmetics. You should know I knew long ago that you were perfect, just tailor made for me and my family, but after today I know you are not only perfect for me and my family but also as Mrs ASR for the world because you love me and care for me selflessly. You know all those models and girls who want me, they care for me because they want money,status and power. But you care damn about all these materialistic things, so never think of yourself like this ever. You are a diamond that shines naturally and every artificial stone tries to out shine you, but you are invalueable. And I want to tell, each and every idiot who never realised your value to know that they should realise that you have that power and charm in you that the ASR fell in love with you. Khushi, I and my family want to marry me so that I get love which only you can give me and not for status or false prestige. You are infact a class apart and your status can never be reached by anyone. So do not go into that direction. By the way you are far more intelligent than any of those high status girls" khushi was so happy and engrossed in hearing all this that she asked " why so?" aranv chuckled and said " because you fooled me. I the Harvard brain could not catch you , the double graduate in economics and maths plus an MBA from IIM lucknow. You fooled all of us. Do not be surprised I know everything about you now. So technically you are more than educated with a class and status. So your question itself was null and void" khushi was astonished at piece of info that arnav gave her but today she wanted him to speak and her new questions could wait for him to end first.

And he again continued " about your last question MY, DI's AND MY ALL FAMILY's HAPPINESS IS FROM ONE SOURCE THAT IS YOU. Khushi where ever you will go, you will spread happiness and you going into someone's already happy life would be like one more feather into his happiness and for us i.e. me and di it will be unfair because you are the only source of happiness in our life. So you cannot leave us alone in sadness. You cannot show us trailers of a happy life and then go away." Khushi was now in tears even arnav was overwhelmed and he could not control himself and cupped her face and kissed her slowly , kissing away her every tear and his continued kissing her and khushi surrendered, she knew after today she was no more in control with the fact of ever leaving him. She had decided to tell him everything and challenged her devi maiya and said in her mind that this time may be you shall have to lose devi maiya to my arnavji.

Unkown to her it was her devi maiya's devine intention to bind her and arnav together .

Arnav stopped kissing her only because there was some more of what she should know and he said " khushi I married you not because I wanted to save di and keep shyam in control ,I married you because I wanted to make you mine, to brand you as mine forever and ever,no other reason was ever true. if I wanted to only save di and stop shyam ,there were 1000 other better and effective ways I could have done that, marrying you was the least feasible one. I married you because my heart told me you would never cheat me and there is something wrong and I will wait for it to come out but I must make you mine now. And true to my heart it was all true. Secondly this marriage was never a contract for me , I just told you 6 month thing so that you agree to the marriage and get hurt too. I never drafted any contract, the papers you signed were just marriage registration papers which legalised our marriage. And the once I sent to payal were 10% shares of AR designs which I did on her name and the blackmail that you fell for that akash would leave payal was always hoax, I would have never done that and even if I asked also akash would never do that. So basically you my smart IIM brain are so emotional for your loved ones that you stop using your so sharp brain and fall for my hoax black mail." Khushi was so realived to hear all this that she started hitting him on his chest and said " I hated you for being so difficult to understand and so idiotic and I hated myself for marrying you without telling you that I will marry you only if you marry for all life, but now I realise that you had already made it a life long commitment and were sure about it and you just fake your arrogant self all around when you just know one thing love and love and only love . you emotionally challenged laad governer."

Arnav continued and said " I know till now you never trusted me but now I want to tell you that I know why you loved me and my di because you identified yourself , poorvi and poorav with us. I want you to confide within me about them and from now own just like you shoulder di with me I shall be you better half in taking care of your twins always. I promise. Also I am so proud of you and can proudly say that no one other than you can live so selflessly for those who you love and I love you for that." Khushi was never expecting arnav to know all this , but was so relived to find that now he was there and he would take care of poorav and poorvi always ,so she decided to tell him everything .

Khushi was telling him " arnavji I love you too, so much. I will tell you everything about poorav and poorvi, since I know that you and I will always be together. I did not tell you because I never got perfect circumstances, there was one after another so many problems always present. But now I will tell you everything about them and one more thing about me too."

Arnav was happy to see her opening up and it thrilled him, there was so much more to say but it was now her turn to speak so he flipped her such that she was on top and arnav was below her. Khushi shied a bit at her position but the smiled and was about to say something when she felt dizzy and said " I am blacking out arnav ji, I feel dizzy, save me..." and she went unconscious. Arnav panicked and tried waking her up with sprinkling water then he remembered her "save me" and he knew something was wrong and he held her close and decided that since it was night time, it was not ok to wake up baujii and engage in useless questions about his presence and everything, khushi needed medical help. So he took her in her arms and headed out of the main door carefully closing it behind him so that the night passed without any further questions and khushi too will get conscious and hopefully in the morning he shall handle buajii and everything else too.

Chapter 11

Every second was difficult for arnav , khushi's state was choking him, he drove to the hospital in record time. Hospital always brought bad feelings to him but he ignored them and focussed on his khushi.

Khushi was immediately taken for check-up , arnav did not want to leave her side but he allowed doctors to follow her without any distruptions. After 15 long minutes where every second for arnav seemed like hours of being strangled the doctor came out and told arnav that " your wife seems to be ok, all her vitals, bp, sugar and heartbeats all are fine, but her unconsciousness needs to have some reason and the good news is that she will gain conscious in sometime but we need to run some test on her to make sure everything is fine with her. " arnav told her to just make sure that all was well with her. While they were talking the nurse came up to the doctor and said " doctor ruhi, doctor nisha wants to talk to you about the patient khushi" the doctor asked arnav to come along with her and went to see doctor nisha . before doc nisha could ask the doctor ruhi who was the man with her. Doc ruhi introduced arnav as khushi's husband. Doctor nisha paused for a few seconds and then said " arnav I wish to speak to you, but can you just give me 5 minutes."

Arnav nodded and doctor nisha instructed doctor ruhi to give some weired medicine name injection to khushi and doctor ruhi went to do the needful. Arnav got curious that how did the doctor nisha know khushi and why the injection when the test results were not out and the other doctor told khushi was fine. He got up agitated when nisha turned towards him and motioned him to sit down. He sat down and doctor nisha continued " Arnav I know you are confused, I shall clear all your confusions but just keep a little strong. I am Nisha kumar and I am a liver specialist and I have met your wife before." Arnav could not keep his control and snapped " why did she meet you. When did you meet her and is she ok na doctor. Please tell me doctor..." nisha could clearly see the love and concern in his voice and in his eyes too. Nisha continued " arnav you need to listen to me and not panic and then only I can help you out. So will you keep patience and listen" when arnav nodded the doctor continued "khushi came to see a general phycisian some 20 odd days back complaining of some kind of mild pain on her left side and on running some tests the doctor found some problem in her lever and referred her to me." Arnav was hearing her but he remembered it was time when he was kidnapped and she was searching for him and she must have ignored her heath in my tension and cursed himself for leaving her when she was not well. His attention snapped back to the doctor and she was saying " I ran a few tests and detected her with small cancerious cysts in her lower liver" the words cancer panicked his brain and the thought of losing her jolted him, but he again composed himself and decided to listen to the doctor and had already decided that he shall fight for her and would never let her go away and not now after all was clear betwwen them. The doctor was saying " but the good thing arnav is that her cancer is in initial stages and its good that it has not spread to other parts and if treated properly and khushi keeps a positive approach she will fight it out easily." The words good thing and she can get well soared his hopes and his determination to save her at any cost soared high and he immediately asked " then what are you waiting for? What did you tell khushi ? does she know about it" the doctor continued " I told her all this and she asked if we could wait for a few days and I told her we could wait for another month but I told her not to delay it further because the earlier we treat it the lesser the danger would be. Anyways I told her that she could take some time as cancer will take more than 3 or 4 months to spread but I told her to not to delay and then she told me that you, her husband was abroad and she needed to tell her family first and then you shall take the decision about it. Then she asked me if she will survive it and told me not to lie as she has lots of responsibilities and lot of people are dependent on her and she is bread earner for them and god forbid if she had less time than she needed to safe guard their future and I could see her fears and I told her after the treatment she would be absolutely fine and her cancer was at curable state. Then I told her about the treatment and the cost of the entire treatment which I shall tell you in detail after this and then she went away after telling me that she would refer back to me as soon as you come back. but seeing the present state I can guess that you must have returned back recently only and she has not told you anything yet. Don't worry she has fainted due to stress and may be pain and the injection I have asked ruhi to give her will relive her and she will gain conscious soon and since now you are back you can talk to her and decide about further treatment." Arnav felt so guilty, he realised that khushi did not tell about him or anyone about it because first saving him was her priority and she was busy in saving him from that cheat shyam and then then when she had rescued him from the kidnappers and headed home, there that whole shyam truth drama happened and di was hurt and ill and disturbed so she again kept herself at back and quite and let di get better and did not tell me so that I could keep all focus on di and then that day when I accussed her of di's state and reason of all the mess in our lives told her that I regretted meeting her, so she must have decided to let herself die of this , so that she can leave us all in peace. And to further push her I raised the contract marriage. This would have given her clear indication that she meant nothing to me and it was useless for her to tell me anything because I had wished for her to never come in my life and so she must have decided that dying to this cancer was a good way to end her life as her life held no value and importance to me, her husband.

He realised that he needed to confront her again when she wakes up and again fill her brain and heart with the fact that she was the sole reason for his existence and even the thought of her going away stopped his breath.

He looked back at the doctor with a new zeal and the ASR in him came out to protect his khushi and said " there is nothing to decide doctor, you begin with her treatment now and I do not want to waste another second. And don't worry about her , she had left the decision to me so I have decided that she has to get well soon for me and she is not leaving me." The doctor could see his love and said " arnav your strength and positivity and love will force her to fight over her cancer and empower her will to live. And that will be positive for her treatment. You should not know that love and compassion of your spouse helps the patient to endure the treatment and get well soon. But now I want to discuss something important with you as khushi's new report of today has come up ,shall I continue?" arnav said " yes doctor, but before that I want to tell you something..."
