I blame the university.

24th November, eh? Yes, I blame the university...I was possibly freaking out that night over my projects. BAH. :/

In any case, I am glad I read it when I did!

It was so sweet, so beautiful and so sensitively written. You could feel the caress in Khushi's every thought, you could feel the yearning in all her actions throughout the time Arnav is away on his trip and you just wanted to somehow make sure that Khushi could meet her Arnavji just that moment - the pain their separation bought made you feel restless and sad as a reader along with having the peculiar feeling that you wanted to be the one to make everything alright because thats how great this love of theirs you have portrayed is!

I am sorry if the above did not make any sense but my thoughts are sort of all jumbled up with just how simply yet stunningly you have presented the story of Arnav and Khushi by just concentrating on one instance of their lives yet displaying all of it to feel through...great job.

And the last part..the way she blabbers...havent we all done that when we call someone close to us like our family when we our away and all we want to do is cry but rather we decide to ramble? I connected it with that at least and it reminded me of some phone calls I made to my family when I was away for some long trips and hence it made Khushi's ramblings even more endearing but honestly Arnav stole the show with his simple heartfelt words - an acceptance of how much he missed her, how much he wanted his wife by his side and how much he was comforted by her - just as much as she missed and wanted him. It was absolutely beautiful and left you with a smile on your face. :)

I am not sure how and why I missed this but I absolutely loved it N!

I always love the way you portray emotions, we don't only get to see what happens on the surface but also get a good understanderstanding of what's underneath that surface! You give us an opportunity to read between the lines! ;)

How do the characters feel when they utter the words they do! In this instance you showed us how khushi is miserable without her husband, how much she misses him yet puts on a brave front and conveniently hides her misery behind her queries and her ramblings about her day! And to have Arnav express himself and his misery somehow sensing Khushi's misery was simply Perfection with a capital P! :D

Looking forward to Part 2 already!

I have this big goofy smile on my face after reading this and I think the 'TS' means THREE SHOTS instead of two shot, shot with Arnav's POV and the third with both together 😊 I know, I know greedy old me , but, hey, your writing does that to me😳

Btw just so you know, I read this and Just Another Random Conversation when I took a break from studying death and dying.

I havent read much by you. But of what little I read this was the only one high on emotions. And you did justice to the emotions too.

My view: Khushi is just so much in love with him that she is scared that others, him even, might perceive her love for him as her weakness or codependency. But that is not the case. She loves him and wants him. Bas! But I guess the depth of her own feelings overwhelms her at times. And therefore the casual, happy facade.

But Arnav being Arnav knows her, loves her for who she is and is therefore capable of reading between the lines. Next time, he wont let her be alone. He will take her wherever he goes.

But he is also able to read between the lines because of the fact that he is going through the same pangs of separation. He wants her as much as she wants him. He wants her to be by his side always because his love is as overwhelming as hers.

Am I babbling too much?
