Just loved the update Shweta, and thanks a lot for updating early, you ave no idea how much it is appreciated.
First things first, this Aakash, not Khushi, is the low-life that needs a thorough thrashing ASAP. He is the biggest loser I have seen... He won't lift a finger, won't do an iota of work but then expects everything to be handed over to him on a silver platter & all he will do is enjoy the goods. He has no self-respect, that is now well established. He resents his brother's fame & glory but won't do anything to achieve anything in life for himself. He mistreats & abuses his wife. Why is he so against Payal?? Why did he say his life has changed since the day they got married?? Did he not want to marry Payal?? Was he bribed into the marriage?? He wanted to keep the land given by his rich father-in-law & hits Payal again for speaking up a bit... When will Payal do something about it?? Does Khushi's NGO not have anything for domestic abuse?? Payal should be listed as the first victim IMO, charity always begins at home...
What a contrast to Aakash is his younger brother!! Thank God for that. If Aakash is the lowest scum walking around, then Arnav is on the opposite end of the spectrum. He is so cultured & well-behaved, calm & collected, generous & righteous. Were they both brought up in the same environment I wonder?? Aakash, instead of resenting & hating his kid brother should learn a thing or two from Arnav, including some basic courtesy & manners...
I just admired Arnav for giving the whole credit to Khushi & asked her to do the honors for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. He had no qualms owning up to who actually did the hard work & therefore suggested that Khushi would be the best person to inaugurate the medical center. Loved the way he encourages Khushi from behind & supports her whenever necessary. He is like the silent pillar of strength for Khushi. Arnav is her strength & I hope she acknowledges that & gives him his dues when necessary. Loved the way he mingled with the villagers with no airs, & squatted down to share their simple meal... But like Khushi, I too wonder if he did all that with an ulterior motive to get votes or was that his genuine self?? He seems too good & too perfect at times, what's the real deal behind the mask??
I am loving this growing familiarity between Arnav & Khushi... Khushi is slowly starting to lose her heart to this perfect gentleman after all. Her wanting to feel him was so cute. Hope Arnav felt some sparks too. I was so glad to read about the drive back from the function after that showdown with Shyam. That was the only time Arnav seems to have lost his temper & was upset with himself for losing his temper... No wonder he did not want to speak to her then. Khushi has begun to mean something to him & he doesn't like it, but how much will he be able to fight his feelings for her I wonder?? The heart has a mind of its own, I hope he realizes & accepts that soon...
Loved the little lake/pond scene. The picture reminded of a scene from the movie Swadesh. (One of my favorite movies) These two are slowly opening up to each other more, having these bits of conversation. Am so glad Khushi updated Arnav regarding his mother's plans for Anjali, just like a wife who keeps her husband abreast with all the news. Someone needs to stand up to the atrocities that seem to be going on unchecked. These women of so called royal families are astonishingly weak, first Payal & then Anjali, wonder why they accept their second-class status in life & be happy with it?? Was even gladder to see that Khushi did not mention anything about Aman & Anjali, that would have been awkward, especially given the fact Anjali hasn't owned up to anything, it would have been pure conjecture on Khushi's part...
Loved the update, hope to see Arnav & Khushi growing closer still... And yes, please update soon :)
