Payal and Akash, what do I say about these two? With their story you are drawing attention to one of the most common problem faced by women across the world; domestic abuse. It also highlights the fact that domestic abuse has nothing to do with social or financial status. It's prevalent across all classes, poor or rich doesn't matter. I will probably be in the minority when I say; I understand why Payal cannot leave Akash or why she shouldn't leave, Akash. When a woman gets married (love or arranged, doesn't matter) she may have 100 reasons to walk away but finds 1000 reasons to stay in the marriage. Few of the prominent ones are love, family, friends, social status, financial independence, children, emotional dependency and self-confidence. We don't know what Payal's reasons are. It can also be that she understands Akash's state of mind, his frustration, his distress at being not in the forefront of politics or family matters.

Having said all that, I am not supporting Akash or domestic abusing, just stating some hard realities of life.

We have Akash and Payal, who are married properly with consent of the families, rituals and all that, but alas don't have a marriage. And then we have Arnav and Khushi, who got married in very unusual circumstances, marriage was nonexistent thought on their minds, aren't behaving life husband and wife yet, unknown to them they have a marriage and they are slowly becoming husband and wife.

Khushi decided to do her own digging and peel open layers of the enigma called Arnav Singh Raizada. This is first initiative she taking as wholeheartedly as wife to know her husband and in that process she will discover herself, grow as a person and reinvent her life. That little moment in the car where she touches Arnav, she was being a tease and this is the first time we are getting to see this side of her.

I am glad to get insight into what transpired between Arnav and Khushi after the function, I really wanted to know. I am liking their car rides and they kind of signify the progress in their relationship. The first car ride was when they got married, it was full of apprehension, pain, nervousness, lack of clarity about future and above all they were strangers. Second car ride was to Ujjain, there was anger, annoyance, and care, plus they were aware of each other's presence. Third car ride was to the function it was flirty, there was silence yet they were paying attention to each other and stealing glances. Fourth ride was back from function and it was full of tension and distress. Arnav shut Khushi off and it was more like "they have a long way to go". Fifth ride to Ajora, there was easy camaraderie between them, Arnav let Khushi touch him and they were travelling as equals.

The moment by the lake was a mirror reflection of the moment they shared by the pond in Ujjain. The difference being in Ujjain, Khushi got a peek into the real Arnav and here Arnav got a glimpse of Khushi's life.

Like Khushi, Arnav isn't making any effort to know or understand Khushi, but he is absorbing any insight, information or detail he gets about her and is putting it to good use.

I wonder how Aman will react when Arnav shares what his family has planned for, Anjali. Anjali and Aman have a history and whatever it is has shattered Anjali's dreams and hopes, hence she is giving up on her studies and making a compromise with her life.
