And so the journey is over. I must say it was a wonderful read from beginning to end. Reading about two collegiate aged characters who were actually highly intelligent, happy to put their intelligence to actual use, and concerned about their families as well as themselves; was first of all a refreshing treat. This cast of characters carried a little bit of each of us in some way, if you ask me. They were real; they dealt with issues most of us have faced, and are facing in our academic pursuits, friendships and relationships. They learned, they grew, and their experiences were those moments that could have happened to any of us. What I loved about this particular story was that there was no "happy ending" per se. Each character was grounded in the reality of decisions, choices, and mistakes. They were "human", if I may use that term to describe the essence of their journey. Trajectory is one of my favourite words, and this story embodies it in so many ways; everyone fashions their own path based on their choices, and while you let us have the "magic", I'm happy to note that the story never veered away from the consequences--good or bad--of those choices.

Edited: Arnav Khushi are married and together and that is all I want. Baaki duniya ka kuch bhi ho... Doesnt matter... Seriously. They love each other, their families love them together and separately, they still feel the same passion and love for each other, they are still Raizada-ing and Gupta-ing each other, have a sex life that might give others performance anxiety 😆, they are balancing their work and life, they might have a little ArHi soon, if all goes well and as per their wishes. Bas jeevan safal huwa.

Wrt NK and La my thoughts have changed. If it is not meant to be then it is not. If you flail your arms and legs too much in quicksand you will bury yourself only deeper. Feeling and not voicing or feeling and perpetually hoping never helped anyone. I hope NK actually means what he says that this time he means business. Serious business of breaking up and breaking up for good. He has flailed enough and suffered enough. If La wants him, she will have to come get him.

Aakash and Sahira. Classic case, nahi? Sahira loved him but never voiced it thinking he is not much into her. Aakash never realised how much into her he was until he saw her with her fiance. If they still have feelings for each other (the vibes that Payal and Khushi caught, if it were those) then they better act soon. Nahi toh 4 lives will be at stake. Theirs and their spouses.

Aman and Payal... Is it the same Payal who was super nervous and shy around NK? I mean she fought tooth and nail for Aman. Way to go girl! He must really mean the world to her. Me is happy for them.

Payal and Aakash... This friendship took me by surprise. And the fact that took me by surprise was this was friendship, simple and strong. No residual feelings...
