So professional life has taken over his personal life.

That's the first lesson they give us. To not bring the cases home and to not get emotional about them.

But being human, that's pretty difficult.

His pain and frustration came out pretty well.

Khushi's reaction was so sad and helpless as all she can do is be there for him.

very poignant chapter. I can understand why you did not post it during Diwali. I hope all of them find solace and make peace with destiny as you said life is precious and priceless. Looking forward to the next chapter.

This mustn't have been an easy chapter to write...now I know why you said...wish me luck!

But coming back to the chapter..I would like to say ..Hats of to you..for writing it so well...

In life..we all say..oh..no..if only...what if...and so on and do forth...but it is out actions given in a particular moment..such as time..are the main element...Arnav feels that he..is the one to blame as he procrastinated the imp of this case... and was thinking of himself...and thus this happened...

I feel for Khushi's helplessness here, as she wants to make him believe it's not...his fault...actions taken by people...are their doings...she made her choice and ended her life..

..I wish she tells him...Enough...for a change, as he needs to take charge and move forward...and in fact ..stop sulking...and save his friend...if he can prove to the jury...then at least justice will be served...and the right person will be in jail...

Listen to his wise words from his Mother...and keep time as the most imp element here...and move forward...

The fact that he wanted to help and be there for his friend...as being his lawyer...in a case like this...his first case...was his decision...and he should save his friend now...

Damn! If only that helps. Right now, I'm angry. I'm furious and I'm outraged...at life.

Life can be so cruel and in such situations one is left wondering - is there really any such thing as poetic justice in real life or is it merely a literary device used to dramatize fiction?

Right now, it appears like it is a fictional device. Lavanya who suffered so much never got her justice and she is the one who is dead. Aman who desperately tried to help his sister is in prison. Is this what justice is? Arnav who broke out of his mould is left doubting himself ...once again you wonder whether goodness in this world ever serves a purpose. Life can't get more cruel than this. And its unfair. really unfair.

However, time and tide will turn. Of course, those who are suffering now need to wait. And its going to be one hell of a waiting period.

My heart broke for Lavanya, Aman and Arnav. Arnav will carry his doubts to his grave coz it is not easy to ever forget how your actions could have made a difference between life and death. And this Arnav did not deserve this. However, he will emerge a much stronger person. This is the test of fire and he survives this, he could never doubt himself.

I absolutely loved the way you used Khushi to portray Arnav's distress and agony. Her impatience, anxiety and something as simple as breathing becoming hard in dire situations was brilliantly written. Loved loved loved this one Twiggy. Take a bow👏

When you said the other day that the events of the upcoming chapter of this story were not going to be plesant I had an inkling that this was what was goping to happen. However, I decided to be posititve and hope that despite circumstances pointing towards this, things woudl not be this bad. Alas! I was wrong. It was Lavanya's suicide that formed a part of the storyline and more importantly, this chapter. What's worse is that even Aman has been arrested. With the turn of events, Arnav's bound to feel guilty. But I feel he should go easy on himself. True; him acting at a faster pace might have led to a different course for people involved but life is much more than cogitating on what ifs. I'm sure once he realizes this, he is going to spring back and provide justice to Aman and his family. It might not bring Lavanya back, but justice will be served...I'm hopeful of that.

Back to the start of the chapter. I liked the way you described Khushi's frenzy in the attempt to reach Arnav quickly...her anxiousness in reaching him was palpable and for a moment I coudl feel what she was going through. Words put wonderfully to effect!

Happy journey, have lot of fun on the trip. I'll pester you on the next chapter after you come back😉
