Happy diwali

you amuse me again and again by your brilliant writing and deep insight.
It was a perfect epilogue of a mind blowing story.
I'm a very emotional person. As Arnav and khushi are so close to my heart, I cry in their sorrow and also in their mirth. Your sublime description of their merriment was giving me happy tears.
An involuntary smile was suffusing my visage while reading the perfect married life of Arnab and Khushi. How you wrote their myriad love was giving me goose bumps every now and then.
Their letter to their parents was so touchy! And it was so overwhelming, when finally they came to see their little Arnab.
at the end how you described Arnab's deep feelings for khushi was wonderful. His child bride, who came to his life carrying a doll in her hand, gradually became a woman and gave birth a real doll, who is his baby, their baby.
Really jenny, you are a master writer. gonna miss this tale so much, as I'm a daughter of a Bengali father.

I'm at a loss of words after reading the epilogue. The way you have closed all loose ends is commendable.

You have done justice to the agony that Aparna, Subroto and Thammi went through - first at not knowing Arnab's whereabouts and then missing him as they couldn't meet him. Honestly,
no parent should have to go through this... And then Subroto and Arnab putting behind all their ideological differences and realizing that life is not worth staying away from your loved ones...
I loved Khushi's letter to Thammi. They shared a special bond which stayed as strong till the end. But above and beyond, I just love Thammi. She reminds me of my own grand-mother who lives in a different country now...
I'm glad you gave Arnab-Khushi a happy ending. They really deserved it after all the pain they had to go through, specially Khushi. The easy flow with which you have written about their day-to-day life is awesome. Their interactions and conversations show how much they love each other.
And you have given them an authentic bengali life-style, very typical of that period... the 'Ogo suncho' is just one such example of it.
Last but not the least, the article from the Daily news was heart-warming. This is just one more reminder to the fact that the independence we Indians take for granted now had come at a very heavy price.
A perfect ending to a lovely story! Thank you for sharing it with us. I have said this before and I'm saying it again now... You should seriously consider publishing your work.
