Lovely to see Arnav accepting the possibilities and taking the first step towards exploring the kind of relationship he can build with Khushi... though am with him in wanting her to accept his invitation, especially after his clarification about the picnic, agree that it is right of her to be cautious [reminds me of all of Garima's cautions about reputations, etc. in the show]... India, being India, society is bound to make a mountain out of the most innocent molehill! Though she is drawn to Arnav, I feel that something in her past might be making her consider herself unworthy of him... wish she had had the time to clarify her refusal before they were interrupted by the others' arrival. Well, I thought she must have been nursing the loss of a lover or betrayal by him but this line seems to rule that out: She wanted to bask in the admiration of the only man who had brought her to this point, the only one who had invaded her defenses. Now the question as to why she can't accept him is all the more intriguing! Genius on Khushi's part to come up with this motive to be with Arnav in a semi-intimate setting... each gets what he / she wants and we know that it won't remain so innocent for long, whatever Khushi might wish or do. We all make the mistake of thinking that hotels serve the best meals but that isn't always the case, often authentic, wholesome and the most filling meals are available at dhabas! "Why won't you give this a chance?" It's almost as if that question has a deeper meaning! "This is where you will find food with soul, and heart." That says it all! The names of all those dishes makes one's mouth water [I need to go and get something to munch on]! Aman's shock at seeing Arnav prowling around the garden, wanting to know if he has seen Khushi / Ms. Gupta and Aman's conflicted thoughts about sharing his suspicions with Anjali make for interesting reading, especially when he finally confides in her after these words: "But...if confiding in me makes you uncomfortable, then I won't push you anymore." What gives? Does he have a thing for Anjali? Anjali's concerns regarding Arnav's interest in Khushi are quite understandable and logical, giving us a further glimpse into his state of mind. From that flashback Arnav has, seems that Akash was the naughtier and the more adventurous of the two. Now that Arnav knows that Khushi too is battling demons of her past and hopes to discuss his and her pasts some time in the future, hope rises that these two hurting souls could make a go of it if nothing untoward derails their budding relationship. Arnav wanting to be alone with Khushi in that secluded garden, while she tried to get him away from there, insisting that there was nothing there made me wonder if she were trying to hide her tryst with someone [out of character, I know]. That she was trying to get away from being caught in the company' of those nude statues is amusing and endearing. The previously innocent-looking pavilion was now transformed into a seductive space... this should turn out to be an apt place for any of their romantic interludes if they do start on a relationship that goes beyond mere friendship. It was inevitable that their desire for each other would finally find an outlet... now that the truth is known to each, it needs to be seen what they will do about it. Khushi's reactions are really unpredictable: first she gives in to her desire, clearly showing him what she feels and inviting him to take the next step and actively participating in that scorching kiss... after bringing that kiss to an end, her Don't' suggests that she doesn't want him to touch her or to come closer to her... what is surprising though is the fact that she thanks him for that beautiful moment and stops him from spoiling it with apologies " a clear indication that she doesn't regret the line they just crossed. "...but now I have to leave. I'm sorry..." That sounded like she was bidding him a final good bye, and sadly my fears turned out to be true... really keen to know why Khushi feels she doesn't deserve the happiness that seems to be coming to her. Know, for a surety, that Arnav will not let her slip through his hands so easily... he won't rest till he gets to the bottom of this. Don't think he would want to let things be, especially when happiness was within his reach, however momentarily, after a long time!
