...and now Khushi wanted to laden herself with so much cover over her soul that no one... not even her herself could see how she looks from inside. She just wanted to protect herself from everything...protect herself from this world, from emotions, from people and from relations.

She was tired of being naked around everyone and letting them play with her emotions, she was tired of giving someone so much power over herself that her own being didn't matter around them. She was just tired of everything... so she took the easiest way possible of not letting anyone see how you feel, what you feel and when you feel. She masked herself with a cover of indifference towards everything, everyone and especially towards that one person who always knew what she looks from inside and outside... her husband Arnav.

Khushi was a very simple girl, living in New York with her parents. The only child therefore the most pampered. Her story of life was very simple, no complications other than the home works during her school life period, her maths teacher Mr. Watson of class 11^th whom she hated with so much dedication that if half of it she had put in her physics projects of college life she would have made it always on time... so all in all leaving all these things and few fights she had with her dog Dollar her life was smooth and complication free until she fell in Love with the most complicated man on the earth her boss Arnav Singh Raizada.

She always wanted Love to simple, she wanted to trust without thinking and she wanted be generous with her affection and patience and love unconditionally. She always believed that it is easier to love a person with their flaws than to weed through them and she wanted to love the whole person, not parts; and this is how she wanted to be loved. She believed that when she will fall in love with someone the life will be more interesting and happy, she never believed in prince Charming theory of the fairy tales but she believed in soul mates. She believed that one day she will love and will be loved by somebody and that will mark a new era for her life.

And yes indeed it marked a new era in her life, because falling in love with Arnav Singh Raizada is in itself a remarkable thing to do and this 5'5, 23 years and umm... 7 months girl did it. She fell in love with the enigma and all her theories for her love life came to end.

When she wanted a simple love life she got the most complicated one, when she wanted to trust blindly she was not able to, when she wanted to be generous she had to fight and all the credit goes to the man she fell in love with. They didn't agree on much. In fact they rarely agreed on anything. They fought all the time, and they challenged each other everyday. He was the boss and she was the employee. He loved black coffee, she hated even coffee. He was diabetic and she for heaven's sake loved sweets, lived sweets and worshipped sweets. And therefore nobody would have guessed that Khushi Kumari Gupta will fall in love with Arnav Singh Raizada.

But as said and done it happened and when it happened it became a mystery which no one could ever solve not even Khushi.

And now when life was not at all smooth, very mysterious and hell a lot complicated she didn't wanted no more complications in her life and that could be only done when she is away from the man she always wanted to be with.

So now, here sitting at a five star restaurant in front of Asad her friend cum fianc with a constant awareness of her husband's gaze on her she has no other options other than to go with the flow and not let anyone understand what you feel.

"Asad... can we leave...umm, I am not feeling comfortable here!" she said now fed up with the gaze of that brown caramel eyes on her.

"Hey khush... what happened babe?" he asked concerned taking her hands in his.

"Nothing Asad it's just that I am not feeling well, I want to take some rest tonight!" she said suddenly feeling uncomfortable with his touch.

"Ya sure... my place or your?" he asked.

"I guess... my place, you know I am still connected to that man, at least for some more month!" she said with disgust revealing in her eyes.

"Common Khushi, forget him! It's just a matter of few months and then we will be together!" he said cheering her up.

"Ya... I know!" she said getting up.

She was about to stand when her high heels twisted and she knew what was about to come. Another fall in her constantly falling life. She closed her eyes and prepared her self for a fall when a strong pair of muscular arms grabbed her by her waist and she never fell.

Taking a deep breath and Relaxing herself she said "Thanks Asad...!" and with that she opened her eyes only to find herself lost in those chocolate orbs which always unnerved her.

Arnav Singh Raizada as described was a complicated man who lived a life of complications so when he got to know that he has fallen for a certain Khushi Kumari Gupta he was not at all pleased, he was not pleased when he fell in love with her, he was not pleased when she professed her love for him to him, he was not pleased when he denied her love on her face, he was not pleased when she took it without fussing, he was not pleased with her idea of moving on in her life without him when he on the other hand didn't wanted to move with her, and he was surely not pleased when any other man showed interest in her, talked to her, made her smile or wanted her. And the most important thing he was not pleased about was her decision of leaving the job so that she don't have to feel awkward around him. He always remember her words when she came with the resignation letter at his desk "Sir, it must be easy for you to work along with me even after knowing that I love you but it is not same for me sir, I can't be happy when I see you every day and know that you will not love me back. When I meet you, a stupid hope of you loving me back rekindles everyday in my heart and this way I will not be able to move on and be happy sir."

People say, to love someone the first step is to a have a crush on them, then infatuation and then love happens. But in Arnav's case rules are never applicable, after meeting Khushi in a meeting with his junior employees he was taken away and infatuated be damned. He was near to being blinded by his attraction to her. He was in love, damn it all. He disliked her, disapproved of almost everything about her yet he was head over ears in love with her, like a foolish school boy. He wondered grimly what he was going to do about it. He was not amused OR in any way pleased about it.

He always knew that they will end up together and that was the reason why he was rude to her, because she was too good to be with him, she was too naive to understand him, too innocent to bear his truths and too polite to give back him his rudeness. She was all what he was not. But he knew that he loved her.

From child hood he has been a reserve type, a dark personality and had a very miserable life. Not because of money, because he had all the money in the world even before he came to this world but because of love. He had never got anyone whom he had loved, and what loving someone means no one knew better than him so when this chit of a girl came into his view he knew what all was coming with it and he was not ready for anything more worst in his life and therefore he did what he knew. He ignored her love for him and his love for her.

And now when he know what a hell of mistake he had done he was aware of the consequences, but him being him will never...never let her away from him like he had done always. And giving her the divorce was out of question. She can play how much she wants with her so called damned new fianc but at the end he was her husband, and she knows it he knew.

So today, leaving aside all the tiredness and emotions that gathered after meeting his mother after 14 years he was here in the same restaurant where his wife was dating her fianc with a string on her back in the name of clothes.

He didn't wanted to spy her but knew that he had to, his wife was a child woman, very easy to manipulate and he didn't wanted to take any chance with her being more manipulated against him by anyone, so he was earring all their talks and was preparing him for his rescue if needed. He knew his wife knew that he was there, because it was so easy for her to sense him anytime and at any place and that is why she was suddenly not feeling well. His presence made her uncomfortable, he thought hurt. But you deserve it, he added.

But that was nothing what he felt watching that Asad wanting to hold her waist, okay agreed he was doing it for letting her not fall down... but when he was there, he would not tolerate anyone...any damn one to touch her and that too her clothe less waist and back. So pushing Asad aside he ran for the rescue of his wife not caring about anyone or anything. He will support her and he did not want anyone else to help him or her. Period.

And the instant she looked into his eyes he knew what he felt. He again fell for her without his knowledge. He knew he loves her. He loves her like he can never grab enough of her between his fingers. And no matter how close he gets, he can never stop the urge to get close...close... and close.

"What the...!" he said coming out of his thoughts by the sudden push from her.

"What the nahin... it's what the hell you are doing here Mr. Raizada?" she asked angrily.

A/N: Uff... done! hina done!!!

I know not much development in this chapter , but I think that it was needed to first show what the characters actually are! So I did what I could... and yeah I always loved boss employee type love story so I made it like that!

I was so nervous for this story and really I just wanted to avoid the convo between arshi as much as I can beacause their character has not been developed yet... and now I leave it up to you Hina... jo karna hai kar!!
